SMB was leading the whole time but failed to protect the lead in the dying minutes. I think the execution and breaks of the game in the dying seconds just favored the Dragons but nevertheless, it was an exciting game and for sure SMB Beermen will bounce back from that lose. We can see in the first game that the Dragons struggled and they are very beatable so expect the odds to be more even in game 2.

End of the first of the second game, a very close game so far with a score of 45-44 in favor of the Kings.

Yeah, SMB failed to execute the right play in the last minutes, they could have won game 1. I don't understand why they sit Romeo, I think he is a good playmaker and he will attract defenders, especially their import, so that would open up the shooters of SMB. Now, let's see the next game, it's a Manila Classico, Ginebra vs Magnolia, should be a good game.

1-0, Bay Area won the game in a thrilling game. Their composure made gave them success in game 1. They didn't even call a time-out when they get the rebound with a few seconds left in the clock, I don't know if Cruz's decision to shoot a 3 point was the right one, I mean, he could have driven the ball, and try to get a foul since they are still ahead by a point.

Anyway, the game is over, let's see what will happen in game 2.

Are you enjoying the game already? SMB has a double-digit lead but now in the 4th quarter, it's only a 4 points lead. This Bay Area Dragon team is not going anywhere, despite their bad start but they are still fighting, and playing hard to win. Good luck, this is a great game so far.

Whoever the import the visiting team really have that good advantage against the locals, but like you, as a fan I will also go with the home team, SMB is the defending champion and with pride(hopefully) they will give an entertaining game against the visiting team. They are all complete now and with the chemistries that they are showing playing against converge, I can say that the winning chance is still there for them.

Try on Rollbit. There are times where they are livestreaming PBA and NBA games and I'm watching there whenever I'm outside and I want to watch games, but there are times as well that they are not for some reasons. Might as well try if you want to watch it on livestream.

It's good to see optimism when it comes to the Dragons, and I'm very optimistic as well with the team, but not as optimistic as it is now.

Having Nicholson as their import instead of Powell increases the confidence of other teams. I mean the Dragons are 2-2 when Nicholson is their import compared to the 8-0 record when their import is Powell. They are strong I agree with you, but they will think that "Ohhh, the Dragons are 2-2 when Nicholson is their import so at least we have a chance to beat them". They will think that they have a higher chance of winning when Nicholson is their import compared to Powell where the Dragons are undefeated.

I will put my prediction here.
Bay Area Vs. SMB - I'm an SMB fan and I always say that, but I think that the Dragons will defeat them in 4 or 5 games. The surprise of the Dragons against the ROS is Blankley, and he might do it again against the SMB. On the other hand, I want to see more of JMF dominating the paint like what he used to do before he got injured.

Ginebra Vs. Magnolia - I don't know if there is somebody who observed it as well, but Magnolia is known for having a high standing in an import-based conference, but they can't convert it when it comes to playoffs. I don't know if how the Hotshots will break that curse, and it might until this conference. On the other hand, Ginebra is known for their superb performance when there is an import. The import of Magnolia is one of the best if not the best right now, but I will go with Ginebra. I want to see 5 games for both matchups.

There's no betting odds available yet so we can't tell how the bookies sees the game between SMB and Bay Area Dragon. IMO, Powell is the better import of the Dragons because he moves the ball well and they are very dominant with him. But it still depends on how you see it guys, not having Powell in game 1 is a huge advantage for the SMB.

Nicholson or Powell is their import, it doesn't matter because the Dragons are still the best team in the PBA. The last time they lose to Ginebra, that was because it was the first game of Nicholson, so there's no chemistry yet. Well, Bay Area Dragons vs SMB, of course, I'll choose the home team.

Powell might be surely out on Game 1 according to some recent reports.

For the next games, his availability is still in question.

I think this is better because we are pooling the bets. With @harizen, we are betting only against him. There's a limit to that.

Before I make a bet on SMB vs Dragons, does anyone here knows if Powell is getting back or Nicholson is going to be the import in the semis? I will bet to the Dragons if Powell is getting back because I believe the Dragons has enough big men to counter June Mar and the big men of San Miguel but without Powell, they do not have the scoring power against SMB. Otherwise, I'll bet on SMB.

This PBA as far as I know is also able to provide help to other people in the Philippines in terms of financial or source of income at least to our fellow Filipinos, such as 'Ending' where the bettor will look for bettors that they will predict what number will appear in the last game of the two teams. And when it hits, the bettor looking for the ending will be rewarded. A gambling method that even with a small amount can win thousands and immediately take the prize because it will be delivered directly to the bettor.

Until now, as far as I know, it is still being implemented every time there is a governor's cup in the PBA and other conference games here. And a lot of people are obsessed with the truth.

Hey there mate, i think that kind of tournament is no longer applicable at this stage of the conference as the games to predict is too few/limited that it might bring confusion because most of the scores of the participants might be tied.

@harizen have posted above which i think more applicable way if we want to bet on the semi's series.

There is another option to make this series betting more enticing to those who love to bet on the underdogs.
How about if we put a cap on each series, let say 5k for each and winner take all or divide the winnings if there are multiple winners, just like what we did last time.

Maybe you want to start another tournament, not a sponsored one if you are not willing to give away some funds, I would be okay if there's a registration every participants.

Still no available odds for these two semi-final games, my personal take both Bay Area and Ginebra will get the bookies favorite, with the first game, it might Bay area with 1.30 and SMB may get 2.5-3.00 odd, while with Mags and Gin kings I can say that it will be a close one 1.7 for gin kings and 2.10 for Mags.

Just an opinion though, we don't have it yet and we needed to wait a day before or earlier before the game start.

The game is too early and there's no live streaming for the game 1, so I'll sure miss that game.

I'm with you mate, the series odds seem not 50/50 this time as one team is a heavy favorite to win. Well, if there's series betting online it would be easy, but since there's none, so let's take it here. I'm also betting Php2000 per team same as Harizen.

No handicaps or everything, just 1:1.

a) Bay Area Dragons vs San Miguel Beermen = Bay Area Dragons

b) Magnolia Hotshots vs Brgy. Ginebra = Brgy. Ginebra

I will place a Php 1,000 bet for each series. If someone is interested, you can bet against me on both or just pick 1 match.

The team to beat is the Bay Area as being mentioned from the post above that the 3 teams who made into the finals are all SMC franchise, I go with you for sure, as I'm very vocal with how I support SMB if they will beat the Bay area/visiting team for sure the chance of winning the finals and defend their title is possible,.

We will all witness what preparations all four teams have since the semis will begin on Dec 14, enough rest for everyone.

Expect they will use that time to prepare and create plays to execute on their respective matches.
