I wonder why do bookies only give +3.5 for NLEX Road Warriors? I'm expecting more.

The way NLEX is playing, they have no answer from Ginebra but still, bookies gave a small spread for them. I hope they moved it +5.5 even at 1.8 odds.

Maybe they think it's going to be a 2-1 series? I'm also expecting NLEX to bounce back. That extra game on the series is money for the league.

Ginebra played well as they already knew how NLEX will play, they anticipate and really change the tempo after the 2nd half.

Same with how they finish the last game, rally in the last quarter and manage to snatch the lead and beat NLEX. Import

I've already see some SMC teams facing in the finals before, and to tell you what, they are not boring, except from the people who like to speculate about the series to be easily getting rigged, but we all know that Magnolia and Ginebra are a good match up in the Finals, so we should not be surprised if that will be the match up we will see.

Yes you are right that mate and for sure many user here wants to see meralco and magnolia fighting in the finals but some people here in my country talked that there's a chance that magnolia vs ginebra in the finals and has a chance to fulfill the dome with an audience cause we all know that gin kings is the people choose even they will lose or win in the match.

I might disagree with this.
A 2-0 deficit is very different from a 3-0 deficit and NLEX isn't like a bottom team because they will adjust coming into Game 3. Basketball is like a chess match where if you don't know how to adjust before and during the game then you will lose.

I mean its too early to say that NLEX will be kicked out because I still believe that they will get at least 1 win before losing. I think that the changes of import impacted the whole chemistry of the team unlike in Ginebra where their import has been playing with them for a long time already thus, the chemistry is there. We know how huge the impact of chemistry with how they are playing.

I hate to see SMC Vs. SMC in the PBA Finals but it seems that many are thinking that MAG and Ginebra will be the ones to fight in the NBA Finals so.. just to be different from all of you I will go for Meralco with this 3-2.

If you will watch the whole game, you will see how good Meralco is in terms of defense. Even the top seeded Magnolia are having a hard time driving inside and score. Its just that Bishop didn't play well in Game 1 that is why they lost and when he played better in Game 2, they won. I'm going with Meralco because I want to see Ginebra and Meralco battle again in Finals. Its better if we will watch MVP Vs. SMC rather than SMC Vs. SMC which is kinda boring to watch at least for me.

If you think Road Warriors has no chance, better take them early now as it might move by tomorrow in favor of the Ginebra.
For Bolts, if you think they could give a close game or maybe win, then that spread is good for you and the ML as well with 2.23 payout.

It's not that Meralco could not defeat Ginebra, I think it's just fun to watch Magnolia playing with the Gin Kings in the finals as Meralco also has a lot of veteran players who would love to play hard to get a championship again.

Barroca, Paul Lee, and Reavis, these are consistent and I love to see them compete the Ginebra.

It's not over yet until it's over, they still have one last chance to extend the series, let's catch them tomorrow.

Magnolia got this or should got this because it will be boring if they are the one who will be match against Ginebra in the finals coz we all know Boltz can’t defeat Ginebra even when they have a much stronger import that the current one. Magnolia has a better chance to beat or atleast give a close fight against a crowd favorite Ginebra. NLEX is already kick out on this semis as they can’t solve there issue againts Ginebra.

I guess everyone here is voting for Magnolia to win, they are the number 1 team for a reason and I think they have the weapon to defeat the Ginebra in case Ginebra will make it to the Finals. Magnolia just had one bad game, that's it, but they'll surely bounce back in game 3, so I wouldn't be surprise if they'll dominate in game 3.

I would still vote for the Magnolia to win in the series, but I think they'll go down to the wire and there will be a game 5 in the series. While Ginebra would try to rest as early as possible, the other teams are just like playing a chess match making the right adjustment in every game.

I agree with you. They are not letting NLEX do their best. I don't know how NLEX will come back at the series. They are totally owned by Ginebra. If only KJ McDaniels is there, they might have a chance. It's a Ginebra in the Finals. I don't see a comeback from the NLEX. I don't believe they will defeat Ginebra 3 times in a row. It's a miracle if they will do it and Ginebra will surely have lots of criticisms.

Meralco vs Magnolia, it's a close game. We can't speculate who will win the series right away.

ginebera San Miguel is still the king here and they have the crowd also so must be better if they will see us in the finals for sure the big dome will be full again if they are up into the finals.
So for sure the mods in the Philippine basketball association will want Ginebra advance to the finals too as it was a big money for them if the big done will be full.

Good idea to skip on Game 2 betting. Although Ginebra won, Magnolia will surely spoil my bet.

With the way BGSM is playing, any NLEX doings are nothing. I'm seeing BGSM will now finish the series next game. Will check Magnolia's odds next game to see if it's worth placing a single bet or will do a parlay for boost odds. Might end up betting on a spread if ever.

Magnolia is likely to win Game 3. I like the competition last night, low scoring game means tough defense.

Magnolia fans have to move on that Game 2 loss.

Their import Mike Harris accepts the loss and the reason he takes is, they didn't perform well. If only they did, even with that controversial call, they will still win. We should also see give credit to what Meralco did.

Learn mistakes, be calm, be prepared, be ready next game, move on, and beat Meralco the next game.

Seeing a comeback next game, no way Magnolia will allow another win by Meralco.

It's good revenue for the league if these two will face each other in the Finals that's why extending the series is always possible. The Manila Clasico is one of the classic rivalry in the league since back then. Many fans want to see this matchup and are willing to pay for a ticket just to watch it live on the venue.

If they will face the Finals, and maybe there's an attempt to extend the series, they should show good entertainment to us and satisfy the audience.

But honestly, I didn't see the Finals will have a magic touch of the refs. Both teams will be serious to win.

Even though the Kings were without Japeth but still it was an easy win for them because NLEX doesn't have the local players that were capable of competing against the locals of Ginebra IMO. I'll give NLEX one win max if this will not be a sweep. PBA commissioner would be happy with this development seeing the Kings advance to the Finals, just hoping though that their opponent would be the Bolts.

Ginebra maybe a good team but Magnolia is healthy and complete, so I expect a close series.



There's going to be no upset as most likely if Ginebra would face Magnolia, the odds would be like 1.80 or 1.90 for the favorits. Moreover, they are under SMC management, so they might prolong the series with some magic job by the refs. If you know what I mean.

Well, the semi-finals could be the same just like what happens in the finals. If you know what I mean but still let's see. 

Well, these two really are the ones that are set to face in the finals. Still, there are a few more games to wait, and let's see who's going to face and who's going to make an upset with their series'.

Ginebra are more convincing now after winning the second game and the next game will be crucial without Japeth, NLEX might still win the rest of the game so better for Ginebra not to be complacent and stay focused. NLEX lose their import and right after that, they started to struggle and the result is very costly for them. I still want to see NLEX fighting for their chance, hoping that game 3 will be more interesting and let’s see if they can finally beat Ginebra.

They will be in the Finals again and the success rate of Brownlee is very high, so they'll likely win again.
However, without Japeth, things will not be easier for them as a team like Magnolia is always there to challenge them, I even think Magnolia will be the favorite in the Finals, so great chance for bettors thinking Ginebra would win.
