Pangilinan will choose ginebra to became a champion in this conference.

What? Why would he do that if that's not even his team? Ginebra is owned by SMC, while Meralco is owned by Pangilinan, so that's wrong.
If Magnolia will advance, it will be Cojuangco will decide on which team would win ( that if they will rig it).
Cojuanco owns Ginebra, there might be a confusion here.
This may look unfair for Magnolia if Ginebra will be the favorite team to win since Magnolia players also work hard to get into this level so its better if the owner of this team let the coaches and players to play and aim for the prize, which can be more interesting but seriously if Ginebra vs Magnolia, we can expect game 7 here.  Smiley

That's right, Cojuangco has 3 teams in the PBA. He owned Ginebra, SMB, and Magnolia, and these teams are real championship contenders. If Magnolia will play Ginebra, I don't mind which team will win as long as we will see a game 7.

Ohh my bad thanks for the correction.
Magnolia and ginebra will face to the finals I think game 7 is on the way and more people who wants to see their match and also i am assure that when ever the match will held their are a lot of supporters will come and want to see the live game of their idols.
And about the odds ginebra will be the bigger beating odds in my own perspective. But let's wait and support our favorite team.
This is why many wants Meralco to win and go to the finals so the fans can really see a basketball competition and not a scripted one, since Magnolia and Ginebra are with the same parent company many expect the game to be more scripted especially to collect more money. Well, Meralco is a great team as well and most probably they wont give up without having a fight so expect an intense game this Friday.

Watching Ginebra the whole conference I though they can’t make it into the finals since they are on the bottom during the quarter finals, and it looks like to me now that it is part of their strategy to play at the lower bracket so they can get an easy win going into the finals.

Are you fine, mate? To play in the lower bracket to get to the Finals easily? lol.

The lower the standing, it's more difficult. Just for a recap, they faced TNT and NLEX which are dominant during the eliminations. Where's the easy path for Ginebra for that? They just did their best and proved that they will "Never Say Die".

They are resting for a much long now while waiting for the Finals. They deserved that before meeting up either with Magnolia or Meralco.

TNT was the last All-Pilipino champ and now being coached by Chot Reyes, I don't see where he gets that idea that it was a part of strategy.
Ginebra work it hard to improve after that poor regular season, they excel and we saw how Brownlee lift the spirit back, now that they are back in the finals, it would be interesting since whoever wins between Bolts and Magnolia the level of competition still high, both teams are known to have good system both sides are deserving to win, but it's only one that will move forward meeting Ginebra in the finals.

Easy to say but let us not forget that Magnolia has to take care of the Meralco Bolts first, and it's not easy for them although they won the last game because Meralco was the first to lead the series. I don't understand why Magnolia is the favorite by 5 points in the sportsbook, I guess people will be surprised if Meralco will upset the favorite in th series.

Meralco surprised us for taking the lead, yet many are still doubting with them though this is quiet a fair odds since Magnolia leads all the way and they have a huge supporters. Despite of this odds, I'm still rooting for them to win and go for the final match with Ginebra.

If Meralco will win, it will be Pangilinan vs Cojuangco, while if Magnolia will win, the two teams are with the same owner and it might be boring as people will just speculate about a possible rig. So, I like to see teams with different owners facing in the finals, but at the same time, I'm also afraid of taking the Meralco Moneyline.  Smiley

Got it if magnolia will win in the match tomorrow for sure ginebra will get the trophy and become a champion. Pangilinan will choose ginebra to became a champion in this conference. But it's boring cause we all know this kind of tricks it's better that Meralco vs ginebra in the finals and we will see the good match between the two owners of the team.

Congratulations to Ginebra for entering in the finals, what a magnificent performance. Now, it's Magnolia and Bolts.
I want to see the Magnolia enter the finals against Ginebra and hopefully they'll win on Friday with their last deciding match against the Meralco Bolts.
Ginebra really dominate the game 4 with an explosive performance of Brownlee, you can really see on their body language that they want to win and go to the finals. Magnolia vs Meralco is very intense as well, because both of them have the chance to play in the finals, maybe those who have a better sleep will win and go to the finals. I’ll wait for the odds for now and see where to place my bet.

They show a real character here and going into the finals, they are more ready to face any team.

Its a do or die game between Magnolia and Meralco, many expect Magnolia to win here since they are the top team during the elimination but as I can see the improvements of Meralco in court, they have a higher chance here to go to the finals. They are both good but only one team will advance to the final, and for me its Meralco this time.
Part of the strategy? So you are saying that they are that willing to risk everything just to play at lower bracket to go to the Finals?
I mean I'm not against what you said but I don't see any sense with it. Why go to a lower seed just to enter the Finals when they can just go to the top and reach the Finals.
Well, this just me thinking this thought though I know its not relevant I'm just thinking the same scenario on eSports. Ginebera really show a great game all throughout the quarter finals, its good to see them back despite of my own conspiracy. Cheesy Looking forward for their finals appearance.

Yes, I'm expecting to see that.

By the way, the betting lines are up for the game 5, and looks like Meralco is still underestimated here.

Meralco is +5, with 2.56 for moneyline.
I'm sure this is worth taking, no way Magnolia would be able to dominate them twice in a row.

I guess I will side with the Meralco in game 5, I'm sure they will be the underdog, so I'm taking the point spread.

Same here, they may have been dominated in game 4 but I'm sure they will adjust in game 5.
Again, I like to emphasize about their defense, and I like the under of the total score as I believe it has a big chance of hitting since it's a do or die game for both teams.

Great spread, I also find it attractive. Meralco beat Magnolia twice in this series so that +5 is quite high as a handicap for a team that is very competitive to them. If Magnolia will win, there's a huge possibility that Meralco would cover the handicap, so for me, the right play here is Meralco +5.

I think it isn't part of the strategy but they are short-handed all throughout the season that led them to just be in the lower seed. Maybe I will agree if you will say that Brownlee didn't play his full potential in the elimination. Either way, its good to see Ginebra playing in the Finals again because the management will have more revenue again especially when the Finals will go in 7 games Cheesy.

Congratulations to Ginebra for going to the NBA Finals.
LOL, we are not yet in the NBA finals, it's PBA. haha..
I know it's a typo error, maybe you are a bit excited with the result.
Ohhh thanks for correcting me on that part Cheesy. My bad.
Or I should say that I can predict what can happen in the future Tongue. Kidding aside I'm already betting Ginebra as the champions this season. Smiley

Congratulations to Ginebra for entering in the finals, what a magnificent performance. Now, it's Magnolia and Bolts.
I want to see the Magnolia enter the finals against Ginebra and hopefully they'll win on Friday with their last deciding match against the Meralco Bolts.

Justine Brownlee fulfilled his promise to LA Tenorio that they would win game 4 and they did it with JB scoring 47 points, the most of his career in the PBA if I'm not wrong. JB is peaking at the right time and that is what makes this team so scary in the Finals and they also have the time to rest Japeth and not miss him because CStand was also playing very well.

Magnolia and Bolts is an exciting game to watch as we never know who would win but I'm more inclined for the Bolts to be in the Finals so that it would not be an All-SMC affair for the championship.

Justin Brownlee takes that Game 3 loss as an inspiration to have that big production in Game 4. He likes to redeem what happens to a distracted L.A Tenorio last game on which instead of blaming game, they move forward instead.

47 points are something not usual for an import and Brownlee, even now in his veteran period, can still produce that big numbers. He will surely remember in the league when he retires from playing basketball. Coach Tim Cone also said that in an interview after that Game 4 win.
Brownlee took over, he can really do that if he would work hard to score. Based on what I read on some facebook post, he promise to LA Tenorio that they will win in game 4, and he really did not disappoint the team and make the fans satisfied with what they saw.

Now, I can clearly say that Ginebra is the favorites to win the Finals.

Back to Magnolia and Meralco, they are now in the deciding game. I like to see a Manila Clasico although I also like to see different companies to play in the Finals. Regardless, may the best team win.

Yes, both teams deserved to be in the Finals, so may the best team wins.

That's what can you expect from Ginebra, with the import of course, when they played seriously and did not let any extension. The fans will have doubt if they will allow again NLEX to win. Actually, NLEX is not doing its best part. I think Ginebra is giving them a chance to extend the series as part of helping the PBA to cover what they lost during the Pandemic but NLEX is really having a bad night. They can't follow the script as they really have a bad game and can't match with Ginebra. They will just do good early but will lack pushing the game to win at the end.

From the lower, Ginebra is now entering the finals. Brace for more fans watching at the live venue. That's the only time PBA is getting more revenue when Ginebra is in the Finals.
