Troy Rosario's injury would affect the TNT's defense IMO.

The injury was serious if you look how the hand was dislocated, and I don't see a chance that he could play in game 4 even if he is not declared out yet.

It’s still too early to tell if the injury will affect Rosario’s status for Game 4, tentatively set for Wednesday.

Rosario has been one of TNT’s most important players during its run to the championship series.

Well, good thing TNT has more time to figure out what to do in case Troy will be officially ruled out, but hopefully he will recover soon as TNT has the best chance to win a championship now. It's now or never.

Looks like the game was rigged? look at the video https://fb.watch/8R4oVFDJqk/ and tell me if there's a foul.

Did the refs unintentionally miss the call, or do they just like to blow their whistle so Magnolia will win in game 3.

Clearly there's no foul .

Saying the game is rigged should not be called here. Just to make it clear, a whole rigged game requires the participation of all starting from officials to players. On those wrong calls from Game 1 to 3, we should blame the referees instead. How come we can conclude that the overall game is rigged if players are seen competing and serious winning on the game.

It's better to call it an irresponsible act by the referees. Their officiating should be watched and the league should impose sanctions if there's a shitty call on their part.

I can say that magnolia may win or even force this to do or die game, but TNT still has the better chance of winning the title.

If they cannot stop Mikey Williams, that would not happen.

IMO, Magnolia might be able to win another game but that will be enough for them as this series might end in game 5 or 6 in and Mikey Williams being a Rookie will receive a finals MVP ( not sure if he makes history here).

He is really the big gap from this series, unlike with SMB where Romeo and Ross able to limit him with Magnolia no one until now who finds a way to stop this young star. Adjustment over another, If magnolia wants to extend their chance, they need to have more strategy aside from using the help of the officials Grin

The chance is slim for them. Hopefully, those unexplained calls will no longer be present coming this game 4. TNT is not new with these kinds of Calls, they have that same issue back against SMB the time they've got Terrence Jones. Roll Eyes

Wow! after a very bad performance of the Magnolia Hotspots in game 1 and 2, they are playing with some sense of urgency and they were successful of getting their first win. Though they are still down by 1 win in the series, but this is a good start for them already, I'm wondering what the line would be in game 4. Smiley

I have a plan, applying the martingale strategy, I'm putting my bet on TNT in game 4 and will double in game 5 if they lose, no way TNT will have a 3 straight loss.
As expected with Magnolia, they are not going to lose without a fight and I don’t know if the referee calls is right but the whole games, Magnolia really dis a great job. Yes, TNT will bounce back because they are good as well, I’m also planning to Bet with TNT in game 4 this are getting more exciting will also try to bet in game 5 and follow this strategy, looks more profitable.

Clearly there's no foul .

Clearly, the defender doesn't touch the elbow of Paul Lee but I'm not sure if that act of Heruela is a foul because the is a rule that even if there's no contact but there's an intent, still a foul, hope some basketball expert will explain that play but one thing i for sure, the game was not rigged.

Magnolia will win a game or two but IMO, they will bow to TNT at the end.

Damn, I may be the one who has all the bad luck for this series  Grin, may be I will pass on game 4.

Clearly no foul but you've got a good point, since there are also some rule in which even you didn't touch the player but you show some gesture you might get the foul, if this game will be reviewed or if TNT will ask for review and questioned the credibility of the ref who called this foul, it's a good start to dig deeper with the rumors of game rigging.

But as how we have seen it from the past, without deeper investigations nothing will happen and the league will go on.

I can say that magnolia may win or even force this to do or die game, but TNT still has the better chance of winning the title.

Let's wait for the explanation, but if there was a rigged happened in that game, the PBA will not going to question it and they will always make an explanation that would not make people doubt about that game, this type of game is one of the reasons why people think that PBA is rigged.

TNT in game 4, maybe they'll win since Rosario was injured with a dislocated pinky finger.

Paul Lee finally had a good game to lead his team to win.

He scored 21 points and good that he does not make a lot of attempts on his 3 point shots which he was not consistent in the last 2 games, that was a smart decision by him. TNT was tried to come back but Magnolia was able to hold on and they own this night so the series score now is 2-1, still in favor of the TNT.
This is what Magnolia needs. A second scorer aside from Sangalang. I just hope that Lee will maintain this kind of performance if they want to win against TNT.
Still, they didn't stop the TNT's main threat right now which is Mikey Williams who exploded for 39 points and played almost the whole game.

I also hope that Troy Rosario will have a fast recovery with his finger injury but I expect that he will not play at least in Game 4.

I watched the video and even the commentators laughed at the referee's call.

I like to say that this is an obvious wrong call by the referees but if there is only a rule to revert a foul call then it must be applied here. Even Heruela himself was shocked at the no contact foul.
For me, saying the game is rigged just because of one missed call is unfair and in fact there are some calls from the referees too that is considered a wrong call. Flops. That is also a wrong call. This is a wrong call but not a rigged game at least for me. That is what I see Smiley

That was obviously no foul at all, I believe that PBA is rigged but this one is very obvious, unfortunately, they cannot revert the call so Paul Lee will get a free throw that really helps the team. We don't see more of these in the last two games because TNT clearly won the game.

By the way, Rosario seems broke his finger, I think he will not be able to play anymore.

read for more information on the injury.

He indeed have a good game, that's the Paul Lee that we missed in the series, and with that impressive performance of his, he was able to give hope for his team to still fight and even the series in game 4. If Magnolia wins game 4, I would say I smell a game 7 here.

Congrats Magnolia, they win tonight and they are now officially back in the series although still down by 1 point.

I like to see game 4 if they can still make an adjustment, they did well although Williams had the best game of his life.
Congrats backers as well.  Smiley

IMO, the officials need to help by rigging the game so TNT will be in foul trouble and Magnolia will continue to attack using their advantage. If you notice the series between the Magnolia vs Meralco, it was Magnolia who looks unbeatable then suddenly Meralco won a game without Almazan and I think there's were the fixed happened, the series end in the score of 4-2.

I don't see any benefits if the league will extend the series. They are just getting viewers on the web. There's no paid gate entrance compared to before when they are hitting up to 17,000 to 19,000 live audience on the event place so extending the series is necessary. Magnolia will now feel pressure next game and I think it will somehow boost their aggressiveness to stay focused as losing the next game will now give them a slim chance to snatch the PBA All-Filipino title.

The same scenario always at TNT, if they got the lead by 10 points at any phase of the game, it's now hard to bounce back. That's what Magnolia should try to avoid again and again.

There is no problem for Magnolia. Don't look at some reasons, guys. TNT is just difficult to handle on those Games 1 and 2. Enough of this minor injury, rotation, coach decision. Magnolia fans should accept that they can't match the TNT firepower.

Clearly, you can see how good TNT gameplay is and when it's Magnolia's turn now on offense, they are having difficulty making a bucket because of TNT hard defense. Magnolia also has a good defense but TNT is just good at getting buckets. In Game 2, especially on 3rd Quarter, there are lots of waste attempts that Magnolia did that can suppose the narrow the lead.

But of course, we are not closing the book yet here. Game 3 will be their turning point game, if they still lose it, Congrats TNT.

I think MAG lacks right now is a second scorer what do  you think? Lee is their scorer but he has a right shoulder injury and that leaves Sangalang as their primary scorer but him as well has a back spasms injury. Abueva needs to score more, Barroca needs to score more.
Both needs to score but they are not actually a scorer with the same caliber like Paul Lee who can drop 20 points or more in a game. Magnolia's strength is their defense but they are not effectively using it against the TNT, so they have the problem as TNT knows both (defense and offense).

This is the only series that Jason Castro is very relaxed, I mean he does not need to carry the team in scoring as they have guys that can be trusted like Pogoy and Williams, and of course, you can also trust Rosario and Erram.

The line movement seems to favor the Magnolia Hotshots here, of course, it's understandable because Magnolia needs to win game 3 in order to be able to be back in the series. A loss here means a 90% chance they'll lose in the Finals, so they should take care of TNT and consider playing as if it's their last game. I have a feeling that tomorrow it will be the Magnolia who will be the favorites.

It's a hard comeback if they'll be down 0-3. TNT is very capable of sweeping them.

Magnolia needs to find the right blend. TNT is really dominating them in whatever system that they are using. Coach Chot always
have the answer a good remedy to keep the composures of his team to stay dominating.

There's a big chance that Magnolia will win tomorrow. They need it the most to keep their chance to continue surviving and extend
the series.

The bigger chance is always on the side of TNT as they are dominating in the series, we only say that they have a bigger chance because they need to win the game, what if they still did not find the right blend and they continue to struggle?

IMO, the officials need to help by rigging the game so TNT will be in foul trouble and Magnolia will continue to attack using their advantage. If that's the scenario you saw then Magnolia has to win in game 3, no excuses for them, if they lose this game then bye-bye for them.

Paul Lee is the biggest problem here, it could be his injury that keeps bothering here but they are not also using their inside aggressiveness.
Sanggalang despite playing with injury were able to produce good numbers in game 3, so he needs to continue that while other players have to step up to help him secure a win.

Have you noticed that the rotation was limited? I mean I don't see many players getting minutes anymore.
