For now, we will enjoy every game inside our house no live audience until this season end.
No problem with me, but it's better if we have a chance to watch the game live.

The strategy of the government in handling the pandemic is not so effective, now with the threat of new variants, I think our hope to see the game with live audiences will be delayed again. Some areas are already in lockdown, this measure is the last resort if the government can't handle the situation and we know its effect to our economy especially those employees who are just relying on their job to feed their families.

For me, I would be okay with just watching the games live on my TV.

In protecting myself and my love ones, I'll be okay watching the games on TV,

The same way how you seen the government fight this virus, it's not that effective to really lessen the spread, plus how those people
who continue not to believe that this virus is real, as there are still people who link this virus to politics or other agendas,

There are still people who doesn't want being vaccinated, while in some areas vaccines are still not available.

Along the way, we will start seeing this league to start and we will enjoy watching our favorite players and
favorite team to entertain us while we are still suffering from this virus.

He asked for a bigger salary when playing with the TNT, his wish was not granted so ends up playing overseas. This is a big break for him as he has now a chance to even earn more than his current salary, but in one condition, he needs to stay consistent and up his game against a tougher competition.

Correct! he needs to prove himself that he deserved that high fees or else he won't get another contract, everything is at stake now for him, if he failed he will end up playing local leagues that lower contract.

But if he brings his skills knowing what he is capable of, there are lots of opportunities that opened up for him.

First try to we will see what he can add to his team and what impact that they will get after acquiring him and paying him the contract he wanted to earn.

I think if he goes back to the Philippines his career will not be as good as when he was with the PBA as PBA might not accept him anymore unlike Kiefer Ravena that who received nice words from the office of the commissioner and assure he can still play with the PBA if he comes back.

Bobby Ray Park's Jr.'s journey to B League is not smooth as he has to go AWOL in the PBA to create controversy.

Well, there's a chance but Ray Parks is a talented player with a built that could compete internationally, so let's hope he will be successful on the league that he is playing now, he might have a demanding attitude, but that's him, he knows his value and it's alright to demand, besides, both are benefited in a contract and he just have to give his best show he can help the team so he will have a continues contract.

Bobby Ray Parks, Jr is in Japan where he will likely play for the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins when the B. League First Division season kicks off this coming September 30.

His future is brighter in Japan, and he would get his expectation of salary playing with the B. League.
Hopefully, he will continue to play the same intensity he played with the PBA, and he will carry his team to success.

Hopefully he performed well and he won't get any injuries, instead of playing in the NBA where he really dreamed to play, he's now in Japan collecting decent paycheck for his game.

He can't get what he wants here so it's a good decision taking other venue to fill your dream luxuries, Japan team can afford to give him that,

Now we will wait for kick off and see how he can impact to his team and what would be the future of him inside this league.

it's hard to adjust on their end and it's losing them a lot of money just like last year.

Yes, and it will have a bad effect on the league in the long run if delays will continue because of the pandemic.

Take note that even before the pandemic, the league's revenue isn't that much (although in 2019 iirc, the league noticed an increase) and the number of audience on the venue just increasing in numbers if Brgy. Ginebra or any other SMC teams will reach the Semis to Finals. They can only achieve at least 17,000 audiences during only in Finals that's why there's always a rumor of "bigayan" to extend games to the maximum for more revenue.

I hope PBA can still manage the cost by 5 seasons or more, or maybe much better, I hope the pandemic will now end.
Yeah, those times whenever the finals is with Brgy. Ginebra, the fans were always there and the coliseum is always full and tickets were sold out.  But right now, I think they have another scheme or plan to prolong some games so that ad revenue will still be there and it is needed because they've been losing instead and they have to do everything so that they'll recover as well. They've got a lot of players and venue is another thing for the sustain and expense that they have to add for their budgeting and adjustment. I just hope that everything goes well.

We don't need to wait for a long period of time before we can see the game in the arena, eventually, the crowd will be allowed in the game just like the NBA. What the Philippine government has to do now is to fast track the vaccination so we can proceed forward, if other countries can bring back the old normal in sports, why can't we?
We're different from those other countries that seem to be back with their sports and having audience. They've got most of the vaccine supplies and they're not lacking of it. While our country, we do purchased the vaccines but they're all limited and most of the news that have been covering it and there are more with the donations. It's reported that I think, IIRC, 70% of the vaccines were already purchased by the richest countries and the remaining are just what we're taking. Those donations that we're receiving are just a few excess of their supplies.

So easy if the both the government and all the people around this country will cooperate,
but the vaccines that our country have now is not enough.

It's really tough for everyone as the virus is moving faster than how the government percepts.

We all wanted to have a normal life and enjoy everything that we use to have before this
virus triggered the world.

We can afford to buy the vaccines that are needed, the problem is the people who run the department are corrupt, particularly the DOH secretary which has a lot of red flags based on the COA report. I don't understand why he still has not resigned from his position, maybe he needs to be fired soon so people be confident again that we will be able to survive in this pandemic.

I've read the news about Marcial saying this, every player said that they're willing to help just to keep the league. I wasn't been on track with this news but I guess that it is because of the past quarantine protocol of ECQ and even we're now shifted to MECQ, there's still a difficulty and the losses that the league has made through the entire weeks of being in that quarantine made the players said that. But good thing that there's now a scheduled and given date when the reboot will happen, it's hard to adjust on their end and it's losing them a lot of money just like last year.

Great news for the followers of this sport, there's a delay but only a short delay, and what matters is the PBA will resume soon. We just have to watch the Pacquiao fight then we will focus on the news about the PBA.

The practice will also resume next week.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/pba-practices-set-to-resume-next-week-in-pampanga-a795-20210819?ref=feed_1_section
Good suggestion, lets place our bets now for Manny and enjoy his fight while waiting for PBA, as
another more than a week of wait and the game will resume back.

Just enough time for players and coaches to take their practices and start warming those created plays for the remaining games.

Not only us will enjoy the fight, though their training will resume soon, I'm sure they will also find a way to watch the fight this Sunday. Everytime Manny had a fight, everyone watches it as every fight of Manny is historic since he is the only 8th division champion, and who knows, he could be the GOAT in boxing someday, so missing it is something we will regret.

Thanks for the effort of everyone as they make this thing to happen letting us fans to enjoy the games again.

Good news came earlier than we expected, so let's hope they'll be able to realized the plan.

This break also give us some time to relax,

But before the league was temporarily suspended on August 10 or 11(?), we just came back from a long wait so it's not a valid point hehe.

Kidding aside, yes I agree with you that the league should resume this month. No reason to think of another delay because the plan is now actually in progress and we are just waiting for the finalization of it. The only reason for another delay, which I hope would not happen, is the possible increase of surge of Covid-19 cases in Pampanga LGU which I doubt will happen but not setting it aside.

It’s a go in Pampanga as PBA sets Sept. 1 reboot; Marcial thankful for players’ help

Appreciate that it's not only PBA that is doing the actions. Players are also helping. They are the ones negotiating with the hotels which are supposed to be the role of PBA. They are helping each other and like seeing that way. A simple watching their boring games as considered by others is already a big help to them so we should support the local league.

The reports say that teams will cover their expenses in hotels and daily spendings of their players and staffs. They are all agreed with it.

It means PBA's budget is really alarming that they ask teams to do it. I agree that they can wait for ECQ to be lifted instead but they choose to spend more outside.

We should thank them for that as they are just thinking of bringing the entertainment to the fans. I'm sure team owners have enough money to cover the expenses and everyone will participate, if they can't, there's always the SMB teams and TNT who can help the other teams that are struggling financially.

Everything is arranged per report, we just have to wait for the announcement of the final date of return.

Indeed, SMB and TNT are far more capable if, in case other teams need help, it's part of initiatives from team captains to bring back the game to fans as they agree with their participation shouldering their own expenses.

As per report, the game is nearing and we will see our favorite team and players to compete and bring the entertainment that we are aiming to witness, for sure many of us are really waiting for the odd to open back so we can start betting with our favorites.

Almost, and we will start picking our bets, so start budgeting now for our capital..Good Luck!

Don't worry, the budget was prepared already,  Grin

They'll be back this month for sure, the last update seemed to tell that they are 90% ready already, so be optimistic that they'll come back this month.
This break also give us some time to relax, but of course will miss the PBA if they will not start soon, so they also know their obligation to the fans.
