The preferred site of the PBA is Lipa, Batangas.

PBA suspends games due to rising COVID-19 cases in NCR

GAMES of the PBA Philippine Cup scheduled on Wednesday have been suspended due to the surge of the COVID-19 Delta variant infections in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The league made the advisory early Tuesday in support of the government’s directive in addressing the rise in COVID cases in Metro Manila, which has been put under GCQ with heightened restrictions from July 30 to August 5.

Eventually, NCR will be placed under a stricter ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine) status starting August 6 to August 20.

Let's wait for further updates, maybe they are planning to look for another locations so they can resume the season.

I haven't followed the King Abdullah cup but it seems that tournaments like this are going to happen from time to time which is a great sign that these funds from the basketball team will be used for what it used to be. They can't say about the budget of this fight because it's not funded by the government funds, it's funded by private funds and this is not a major event, it's just a friendly match although the players represent the Philippines in their campaign.

I think even with Kouame on board, not an assurance that they will win.

They came from a 2-game losing streak, with Kouame playing, prior to that match. What I noticed is, other cadets are not playing well. Even the hyped Thirdy Ravena doesn't seem to show performing well.

More importantly, some cadets are slowly gaining experience playing in the international leagues. Soon to be riped.

2 consecutive games and here's my take on TNT's rookie Mikey Williams.

I know he's somehow arrogant when he requested a max deal available for the rookie where in the first place, he doesn't prove anything yet (obviously, because he was a rookie). The difference between the TNT and Phoenix in this game is on the point guard position.

Phoenix is a good starter as they have the aggressiveness but they lack the ability on closing games.
I didn't see them a lot making a lot of attempts inside, it seems like they are not using Perkins and Manuel's talents properly.
IMO, they have advantage inside as these two guys are stronger than the big guys of TNT.

Mikey Williams has to improve, there's no excuse even if he is still a rookie, Pogoy's minutes have dropped I believe because TNT had invested in Willams who are still struggling in his 2nd game, and they had a high expectation on this player so they'll keep pushing him. On the other hand, I think TNT is not wrong about getting Khobuntin as he really is big on the floor, the hassle is there and he really works hard, we can tell that.
