What do you think about the current run of Magnolia hotshots in the conference so far?

per standing, they are already 3-0, they beat the following teams.
1st game Phoenix
2nd game Alaska
3rd game Ginebra.

Next game will be against DYIP and 5th game against North port.

I think the win streak will continue as Paul is more comfortable now that he can pass the ball inside and having Calvin Abueva in the roster is really a big thing as he can grab offensive rebounds, and could attack inside.

The possibility of a 5-0 standing for Magnolia is just too high as DYIP and NorthPort could only offer little to no resistance to Magnolia's attack

Agree, Paul is comfortable and confident now as there are more teammates now that can grab those offensive rebounds in case he misses and he has Abueva and Sangalang whom he could dish out the ball if he decides to drive and drop.

Since they already beat Ginebra, the biggest hurdle for them now is the Beermen.

That's another challenge for them, but since JMF is not yet 100%, then I think they have a big chance to beat the SMB. Their flawless record is good to watch and we can always attribute that success to the addition of Calvin Abueva as they became a stronger team both offensive and defensively.

They're having a good run and it might continue as they are about to go with those opponents that you've mentioned. I guess a team's good performance at the beginning does really matter and it's giving them the confidence that they'll be having an amazing run for this conference.
But I would also like to see North Port win their games hehe, I'm a fan of Robert since he's also a Dota 2 player that gave some entertainment to the community before he gets in to the league this conference.

Abueva's presence from each teams he played got a huge impacts, remember him playing with the title contender Alaska milk then transferred to Phoenix which he also helps to reach the Semis.

With good chemistry playing alongside with Ian Sanggalang, they both help each other inside while Lee taking the charge in front.

No wonder they've got a good winning streak and a possible to continue doing well within the elimination round.

If I'm not mistaken, in the first week of the PBA, he's one of the tops in terms of stats.

He can't be an MVP if his team is not winning, just like Perez with the DYIP, he was the stop scorer of the team and leading the PBA for points, but he did not win an MVP because his team has a very low standing.

JMF is still adjusting and it's not easy to get back his confidence, so he might not get back to his old self this season, a chance for other teams to beat them.

From what I have seen to him, the confidence is there but the problem is, his body is not cooperating.

That's the result of a long break while fully recovering from his injury. But I'm sure he's working for that and few games more, he will know if there's a problem with him either physically and mentally.

We've seen this in the past, Fajardo has been injured many times and always come back to being an MVP, it might take time so let's be patient and wait for it, besides, SMB does have a lot of stars and they don't just rely on Fajardo, it's time for Tautua to shine and help this team to win.

Shit happened, watching that game from the first 2 quarters I was impressed thinking that DYIP will hold on
and continue countering NLEX attacks, but afterwards they started to turned the ball over and unable to make a good defense to stop NLEX attacks.

Those who bets during the live events for NLEX both ML and handicap that's a sweet win, the last time I checked before the first hal end ML for NLEX @ 1.45 and handicap of -6 @ 1.80.

Most of the time, placing your bets during live games gives you more decent profits. Tongue
