Seeing an audience in the game is already a good start, which means the IATF is confident that everyone who are in the venue will be safe, and that is because they have vaccines already, so what I'm seeing in the future is that getting vaccinated will be the requirement before you can watch the PBA in the arena.

The article says "Maximum of 200 individuals" so I think it will include the players and staff of the PBA so I don't think fans are allowed at this point in time even if you are fully vaccinated.

The PBA will try its best not to be the "super spreader" so I think they will be very strict for now and follow every protocol set by the IATF. Even if it's a fanless venue, still it is going to be exciting that even though their original plan of opening in April drew some setback but still they manage to get the nod of the IATF to finally open tomorrow. So guys ready your crypto  Smiley.

Better this way  to make sure that all those fans that will watch the game have lesser chance of spreading the virus. IATF knew that eventually fans will go and will support their respective teams.

Though just the same, COVID still exist and the threat of this virus still unresolve, better to ask for vaccinated fans than knowing that
the virus spread out.

Good luck to all the fans and to all the gamblers who are waiting for this league, it's time to bet again! "Kampihan na"

Winding down.

They will allow audiences to watch games?? I just hope that it will not be overcrowded but hey I forgot that even though there aren't any pandemics, the number of audiences watching the game is still few so.. yeah no differences Cheesy.
That's unsure if they'll allow audiences but I think they may as long as the protocols would be followed, there's no problem with that and this isn't a bubble set up so there's a likelihood. There's for sure social distancing for those chairs if ever they'll allow people to watch.

I think we will find out tomorrow if this is true.

Still boring as it is so it is better to just watch on home than going there, watching a boring match.

Either way, I'm just happy that the professional league here in our country will start on the 16th Smiley. Lets enjoy watching some games.
There will be folks that would love to watch the live games and make their tickets worth it as it is their hubby but yeah, I'll choose also to stay at home while watching those games. It's better to be safe than sorry since there's no difference watching it at home.

Still boring as it is so it is better to just watch on home than going there, watching a boring match.

Boring matches are those for low-tier teams so if the crowd is allowed, there only might be a few audiences, mainly friends, families of those players in those low-tier teams. But for teams on upper tiers, if the audience is allowed, they can at least get a 10-20% audience because of the limited capacity.

But I think audiences won't be allowed. There are no changes on the daily confirmed cases yet but the restriction got eased because the higher case came mostly outside Manila.

At least PBA tried to come back to a normal set up, eventually, the crowd capacity will increase with the approval of IATF, so it's alright, they are just starting and they will make a successful opening this month. So the first game is July 16, 2021 at Ynares Arena - Pasig City, that will be tomorrow.

we have 3 games available.

The game schedules are now released.
https://www.facebook.com/168046639878446/posts/4874736492542747/

It was posted on their Facebook page. The PBA site is not updated yet but for sure it will be there too later on.

As we can see, triple headers every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and double headers every Saturday. The venue is only on Ynares Center, just few kilometers at my place, although I don't know if few audience will be allowed since it's a semi-bubble.

Hahaha  Grin That's rude but true! Even there's no pandemic aside from BGSM who have loyal
Brgy. fans other teams just bringing free tickets to have some fans to cheer them up!

But along the way, it's nice to now that the game is now rolling and fans participations are present to support the team that they are cheering with.

Those trades will now show up with the types of  hypes each players impacted the team who acquired them.

Let's just be thankful that finally, we will see the PBA start this month. IATF actions are not fast, we know that, so we should not be surprise, and good thing now that the PBA will not undergo into bubble, so the delay of opening maybe help them also.
Yes, we sure are thankful and happy that it's finally back. It's okay to read someone's disappointment as that's his opinion of what happened. And it's not going to take any longer as the games will be back in a few days.

I was checking for the schedule of games but in their official site, it's not updated yet.
https://pba.ph/schedule
Let's wait until the final schedule will be posted. I guess it's going to be shown within a day before PBA launches again. Everyone is really excited about the opening of it. We only have to wait and see until the schedules are already given and updated. Whoever goes on the very first game are lucky to be watched by most PBA fans because we're all waiting for it.

Do you know what's the first game this season?

Schedules are not up yet but it's one thing for sure, every game schedule will be a triple-header and might add some additional days compared to the usual Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday schedule.

That will makes the All-Filipino Conference be finished in just 2 months.

They have plenty of time for another conference if there will no problem on the way, if the league wants to go for it.

Do you know what's the first game this season?
I'm sure everyone is excited already to see the PBA back again after a year I guess?
Is JMF 100% already? I like to see him back again.

Latest news here:
Maximum 200 individuals inside arena during PBA games

Per below quote, the PBA has not yet released the official schedule of games but we can expect that they will release that on Thursday I think.

About JMF, he and TR7 were already seen joining scrimmages and per their team manager Gee Abanilla, they look good on practice even if they not yet 100 percent healthy.

Quote
PBA awaits the official schedule of PBA opening day games.
The PBA currently taking a back seat to put to perspective the list of games that set to happen in the opening of the 46th PBA season this week,
PBA also awaits the result of COVID 19 tests of PBA players ahead of the opening.

I'm very excited to once again see my SMB team trying to capture that AFC title once again lol.

Controversies around the PBA has been overshadowed by the news of its resumption, so let's just sit back and relax for a while.

And good thing that the IATF has approved them and thanks also to MMDA that helped them.

They should be as the problems are always the authorities behind IATF why the PBA delay. PBA already has a good plan already for long but still IATF is slow in action as they rely on DOH which is also not competitive. PBA is not dumb not to set a strict protocol.

Sometimes IATF are overreacting and I'm against at some of their protocols especially in the midst of pandemics. They are like DILG that proposing something that is out of nowhere and baseless like what they did on motorcycle riding and faceshield in public and while doing some leisure activities lol.

Sorry for IATF fans here. Just my opinion as I become affected by some of their shitty protocols not related to health.
I can't say that to IATF and DOH. I guess all of these government agencies don't have to focus on the coming back of PBA and it's PBA that has to understand the situation and as well as fans like me and you. We're already there that they're for sure going to follow strict health protocols. I guess your hate to IATF should be settled for now as they've allowed the PBA to be back again and it's okay if that's your opinion about their response to the pandemic and as well as the request of PBA to be back. Well, everything's good now.

And with this health protocols that PBA is trying to get over ever since this pandemic to get that license, breaching it out for satisfying your eagerness to pay ball, that's something that you'll going to suffer.

Suspensions and possible trade is far better than being outcast from the league.

Agree, the PBA is very keen on complying the protocol set by the IATF so they can't afford that single mistake as they will cost them the cancellation of the opening if this issue is blown out of proportion.
It is important for the PBA to comply with the rules set by the IATF because they're going to be in big trouble for violating even just one protocol. There's a punishment if they won't be able to comply or at least they've seen some violations made just for the coming back of the league. And that's why they're preferring to make sure that every single move they do is going to be approved and there won't be any negligence made by them because they really are big and always in the eyes of the people. And who's excited for their coming back? they're about to start within a few days.

The major effect if they will not follow is they cannot start up the season so they really need to comply what government ask to them but I believe that PBA management knows about it already and working to make all this things done. For now lets wait for the season to start again since this is good to see that we can watch again the live coverage of PBA games. Can't wait to bet for strong teams there 😁.
And good thing that the IATF has approved them and thanks also to MMDA that helped them. Their upcoming start means that they've complied with all the necessary protocols and the government has seen that and there's no reason for them to decline such a request and start the season of PBA. And they all know that PBA is one of the most known leagues in the country and most of our countrymen are longing to watch the start of it again. Maybe you haven't seen the announcement that the league is about to start again within the next few days.

These rumors will not be confirmed but we saw what is happening and we have our own opinion, and for me, I also agree that they are farm teams as they are not competitive enough to win a championship.

Never it will be validated nor confirm. It's illegal by the book that's why it taking place behind the scene.

Might be that we are just sharing our thoughts here but there are lots of times that the PBA and some big franchises do think that the audience and their followers won't understand the agenda of these unexpected and surprising big trades between a big and small company that will come out of nowhere and not even a part of trading rumors.

SMB company for example is the biggest foundation of PBA. Their teams are the most-watched teams in PBA generating good revenues so they are making sure they have the best players on their roster - still my own thought. Smiley

That's how important every safety protocols that each players needs to comply, the league as long been delayed and since PBA is a business they already losing a lot.

Breaching those rules will risk the permissions coming from IATF, luckily that the go signal was already been granted and we will now again see those available games once PBA formally start the season.

Trades are open until friday if I'm not mistaken so expect that there's upcoming news for this issue.
