The 6th straight All-Filipino Cup title for San Miguel Beermen will surely much tougher to achieve now that their main man June Mar Fajardo will be out for the whole conference.

This is the best time now to show their critics that the Beermen is not just all about Fajardo when it comes to All-Filipino. We all know that on every Philippine Cup, Beermen is known for always dominating the league and they are holding the title for 5 straight years. Most PBA enthusiasts always predict that the Beermen will be a champion every All-Filipino because no doubt that no one in the league can stop Fajardo which is also accompanied by most of the best-known gunners in the league.

I've remembered the last time I bet against the Beermen on All-Filipino Cup finals. It was against Alaska and I will surely bag some nice and decent profits if Alaska will snatch a series title against these Giants. Alaska is doing great at that conference and they able to pin down the Beermen on a 3-0 lead at the Finals. Just 1 more win for the championship but the Beermen bounce back on a 4 straight win. If I remember, Beermen pushed Fajardo to play which plays a big role in why the outcome has changed. Even playing at a minor injury, Fajardo still dominates the paint. Really a monster.

SMB fans should just accept that Fajardo should be sitting out at least one conference to have him fully healthy at the next conference which is Commissioner's Cup. No need to be full force and trust their other players instead.

No offense to SMB but they treat Fajardo as the most special player baby on the team. Remember when Fajardo is interested in playing at the international league but SMB did not allow him as injury might be struck him that might affect their PBA campaign. And besides, SMB is still a strong team even without Fajardo on-board as the next conference is between PH to PH players.

SMB will do anything to take care of their players and that rule applies to all SMB teams e.g Ginebra, Magnolia.

but he will be suffering operation and i think this will take longer time of getting better again,as the team will surely not allowing Him to be Forced playing because he can do more action in future and not just this All Filipino Conference, there are lot of Games to Come for junMar.

And when he comes back, there is no assurance that he will be as confident as he was since usually when a player got injured, underdgo an operation, it will affect their confidence as they will be afraid to be injured again.
Depends on him if how he will take this and if his desire to continue forcing himself to prove more, I guess with his achievements he doesn't need
to prove anything and he's also aging so after this operations he can either be back as healthy and good or he can also be there just to finish his
contract and enjoy his paychecks.

He will not be force come back to the court if the management doesn't see him healthy (in 100% condition).
Probably it can affect his confidence but it can come back with the help of his fans. We know how much fans "Kraken" has. For me, I think he will come back to the court next conference which is the Governor's cup.
Hopefully he will, but I am just saying the possibility that he will not get back his usual old self easily, it will take time for sure and he will not right away given his usual minutes too. We know Fajardo is their best player and therefore the defense will be focus more on him, and grabbing at least 10 rebounds per game means he is working hard inside.

Let's hope that this will not be more serious than it should be! Fajardo is a big addition in his team as we see him the best player in the league now.
Not just that, we must hope for fast recovery and he must be placed in the team for the international competition.
This is an all-Filipino cup now, and having San Miguel with Fajardo is the league's best choice. hoping to see him on the court with 5-peat for SMB.

Whooo, major setback for the Beermen's campaign in the All-Filipino Cup as their main man, JMF15 got injured.
Hope he will recover the soonest possible time. Damn, this is a very bad news for Philippines basketball but on the other hand, good news to other teams lol.

Hell yeah. One of the most important player of San Miguel Beermen on this All-Filipino-Cup of upcoming Philippine Basketball Association(PBA) League, with less than a month left.
June Mar Fajardo is definitely a star player of San Miguel Beermen and let's hope he can play this upcoming conference, it's okay if he can't play in first few games but he really needed to and try to. San Miguel Beermen without June Mar Fajardo is not solid.

Not only one of the most important, it's the most important player of the SMB that are giving them success.
They should make a plan to stay competitive, they need to accept that Fajardo is not lucky this time, my God, if only Fajardo was not injured, they'll surely win the All Filipino Cup.

I know that JMF will be out indefinitely and there is a possibility that he will be out for the whole conference and will be on the court again in the playoffs if they clinch (which is probably they will).
He will undergo a surgery so probably he will be out for the whole conference since the conference of the PBA is very short.
This is similar to what happen to Cousins of the Lakers where he was injured in the practice and until now he hasn't played yet.

I have heard some rumors that Vic Manuel will be traded in the SMB for Mo Tautuaa but with this news, I don't think that SMB will agree with this trade right now because Tautuaa will be given more time right now and he will be the starting center now.

Lets watch him play right now. He played well on the NorthPort and he can be too with SMB Wink

Would  love to welcome Manuel and trade Moh as Manuel can penetrate inside and a better post up player.

I am saddened of what happened to Fajardo, it's different when Fajardo is not playing with the SMB, he is the one bringing energy to the team and their shooters are very confident to shoot as they know Fajardo is always their to take the offensive rebounds.

Now they have to play their remaining centers who does not play good minutes when Fajardo was still active.

Mamaril, Tautuaa, and Escoto, these are the players playing with the center position according to (https://pba.ph/players?team=SMB)

Maybe what Time come is talking that they will try to win in this conference will become into reality.

I am sure you mean Tim Cone. yes, Ginebra wants to win the Philippine cup  : https://pba.ph/news/la-tenorio-hell-bent-on-winning-philippine-cup

For the whole PBA fans, this isn't a good news as we are all wanting to see the KRAKEN play and dominate the paint, now, who would stop Gregzilla?

this is sad news for all beerman fans as San Miguel is one of the favorite in All Filipino conferences as they Mostly Got the Trophy of being a champion.

and with the Surgery needed for him to recover?the whole conference will he surely Miss, and even if he can play in the Mid or before the end of conference still he cannot Push the game as the fracture will hinder Him to do his Power plays.

Fajardo, according to the Beermen, suffered a "complete fracture on his right tibia" during team practice last Feb. 3, needing surgical procedure and a long rehab to get back to optimum health.

That post above really hurts the fans,...
When I see the word "indefinitely", that's a sign that it will take him a long period of time to rest and recover.

We were expecting here that they will again dominate in the All filipino cup but with that injury this looks like it's not gonna happen, and although this would bring some good balance on the team since Fajardo is out, but not good since he was suffering from a serious injury.

Maybe what Time come is talking that they will try to win in this conference will become into reality.

Here's where CJ Perez ranks among best rookie scoring averages

of the top 15, he ranked at number 3, so this kind is really special, I am surprise that Fajardo was not even in the top 15, maybe he wasn't that good when he was still a rookie, his hardwork made him to where he is right now.

Maybe it's because Perez and Parks played heavy minutes during their rookie year and they are considered the main man of Columbian Dyip and Blackwater Elite respectively. When Fajardo was drafted, the first two conferences were not good and he played limited minutes with limited touches plus he got injured and did not played for how many games. Fajardo's dominance blossomed on the Governor's Cup of his rookie year but too late for him to contend for the ROY award as he lacked the games played for that season. ROY was eventually won by Abueva that time.

A player will be given more minutes if the coaching staff saw some potential on them, so for sure Fajardo that time has no unleash his true potential yet and CJ Perez was also lucky to be playing in a team where there's lack of star player and although he was just a rookie, he was given an opportunity to lead the team and that makes him confident in playing, Ray Parks, this guy should not be in the competition for the reason that he does not look like a rookie, he was playing on the Alab Pilipinas before he got drafted in the PBA.
