Yeah, actually the win was less noisier than this drama and issue that Abueva has been taken against with Mo's wife. I don't know who to believe but as the game has been in action, Abueva has been hot and when the game's done, here we go with the next action and drama. PBA needs exposure I guess as interest between sister campany don't earn attention for most fans, not Ginebra so lesser fans I guess that watching the game, so Abueva is here to save PBA ass.. Hahaha, kidding aside, it's true that there's lesser talk about the finals and with what Abueva and Mo wife's did they are now gaining interest.

It's exciting to see how game 3 will be played, I'm expecting more aggressive beermen after what Abueva did to their head coach.

If there's an investigation that will be conducted by the PBA, result might not come out yet tomorrow if there's a player/s that needs to be suspended. Marcial added he will also summon Abueva and Tautuaa.

“We’ll look at the videos and talk to people who witnessed the incident,” said Marcial in Filipino. “I’ll meet with my technical group and I need to talk to the two players.”

Abueva were able to control himself for a while. It's just that this time he could not control, probably due to the emotion in the game, they were getting dominated so he doesn't feel good about it. Losing 24 points in game 2 is bad, a player will be upset but Abueva was just eaten by his emotion and as he demand respect from his disrespectful act.

It's still too early to conclude. There are teams in the past that have come back from 0-2 deficit, and Magnolia is capable of doing that since they finish as the number 1 this conference. Game 3 is probably the deciding factor on the future of Magnolia in the Finals, if they loss it could be the end of the series since no one has ever came back at that deficit.

Magnolia needs to play their 2nd unit with more minutes, they can't defend on the same line up that can't compete against the SMB. Experiment, and give other players a chance to play and be more confident. Laput should have earn more minutes, although he can't totally stop Fajardo but he got lenght to bother him.

If I remember it right, SMC's big boss once said in an interview that he liked Abueva, and he wanted him to have a secure place in his company, Abueva should look in the mirror and try to re-assess what happened.

Like what you mentioned, he needs to show that respect if he wants it back. Committing that same mistake might trigger something bad to happen in his career. He needs to remember that he's not getting any younger and missing this great opportunity just because of something that he already knew the consequences would hurt him really badly.

Though I'm sure it will be discussed internally, Boss Ramon will not tolerate this as it's happening outside the court, which supposedly, his players should pay respect to each other.

Maybe Calvin will be suspended for one game? The league has to make an action about this, they can't tolorate this kind of act, disrespecting a coach and mocking his disability, this is not acceptable. That I can agree with you. Plus, they don't have a good outside shooters who are consistent enough to give some threat to their opponenet. Paul was the one known to be a good 3 point shooter but he wasn't playing well in the Finals so far, probably due to the defense being put into him.

Magnolia's chance of winning is if they are making shots when attacking the paint and those mid range shot, but thus far it's not getting a positive result as SMB have a healthy JMF who makes the paint hard for the Magnolia. Also, SMB's import with so much confidence shooting 3's, that could break the hope of Magnolia if he keeps going. Key here IMO, is stop the outside shooting of SMB and take the game inside.

Abueva with his antics again, I thought he already learn his lesson. There was even a news that he mocked the coach of SMB. That's how frustrated they are because they are certainly a mismatched with the SMB. I think they need to focus on improving their game, game 3 is very important, it's a must win situation as no one has even come back from a 0-3 deficit.

I hope you didn't push that through as it was a one sided beat down again. It was just like a replay of what happen in game 1 but Magnolia were not able to have their run in the 4th quarter. I smell a sweep in this series, as long as Magnolia could not defend the outside shooting of SMB, they have no chance of winning as they can't hit at outside shot, they are too unselfish that sometimes would result to turnover since no one would want to take a shot.

I will consider this as a tip Coming from an experience gambler, this is a good insight especially on the newbies. The line movement in the PBA is really crazy, and since we know what team will the public pound, we can easily predict the line movement. However, in game 2 which is a must win for the Magnolia to even the series, we can observe the line movement, if it's not moving like in game 1, then there's a possibility that the series will be even after game 2.

Also, last time I believe it was a high scoring game, although it didn't hit 200 points but I believe the total was below 200. And who would expect that Magnolia will have a good run in the 4th when their coach had already given up early by taking their import out, it's just very unpredictable.

As as I was saying, the line is moving slowly which SMB now a light favorite with -1.5 spread. This exactly the same opening line in game 1 and eventually it increases as the game is nearing. That could happen again this time around, so taking that early spread might help us find a good value if this game will end up fairly.

So since I'm backing the Magnolia Hotspots here which is the underdog in the series, I'll choose the sportsbook with a better handicap for Magnolia, and that is duelbets. I'm also thinking of betting on the moneyline during live, if SMB will start strong and Mangolia will have x3, that's an automatic grab for me.

Good news indeed not only for the Ginebra fans but as well as to all the Filipino basketball fans and maybe when he comes back to the Philippines next week, he will be honored for what he has done during the Asian games at one of the games in the Final, he truly deserves it, nothing to be ashamed of that substance issue.

The violation wasn't a big issue as he was able to come back in just a short time. Brownlee will remain to be one of the best import if not the best, but I guess for me I'll consider him the best as he brought gold for the Philippines after many years of not getting it. Good timing because when he comes back, he'll be practicing for the team for the FIBA Asia I guess.
