We can always hear that kind of words about the best player carrying the team but in reality basketball is a teamwork, so statement like that is quite normal, that only means he was the best palyer that time.

And to the attitude problem, I totally agree with that, but look what is happening now,, as per rumor, they are still pursuing him.....

Mikey Williams has had a bad attitude even before. Always late in the practice without being noticed, always asking for a max salary increase even way back in his rookie season because he claimed he was good (yes he's good but not professional). TNT can move forward without him not unless Mikey Williams itself will be humble in returning to the team.

Yeah, they managed to reached the semis last season and they are now showing what they've got, after losing 2 games they are now adjusting and I like how you pointed out the defense that they've made, limiting their opponents especially in the 2nd half they just need to be consistent and just play the game with full confidence working along side of each other, they've got a long season to compete and for sure lots of games to work and execute that right system to win a game.

Speaking of Garcia it was way back from the time where him and Romeo was so hot, it's been a long time just like you said to see him producing this numbers.

He is playing inspired basketball since his baby will be out soon. And she has a lovely wife, I think he is a lucky man and he is happy with his marriage. NLEX now on a winning streak, just a great start of the season for Bollick, clearly we can see that he is an all around player. Meanwhile, Phoenix finally are in the win column, after 2 losing streak, they were able to win via blowout beating the DYIP. It was all tied in the 3rd but in the 4th quarter they have a big run. Great adjustment as they outscored the DYIP 30-14 in just the last quarter.

78-94, it's a 16 point victory.

The first game is over and NLEX again with a win. As usual, Bollick led the game on that win. And it's almost a triple double performance for him.

Desperate times comes with desperate measures, so that is what is happening with TNT now as they don't want this team to become a trash. It's owned by a billionaire, sure they can afford to give the demand of Mikey Williams but they are negotiating like a business people, so hopefully they'll agree with the terms as TNT really need him to help castro carry the team.

I thought they already let go of him due to attitude problem, but with this recent rumors, it looks very positive that they have made a decison to get Mikey back again in the Philippines to play with TNT.

Another one, if he will be back with TNT, is he gonna play with Gilas too, or will coach Tim be interested in getting him?

During that time TNT is one of favorite team to win a title and they perform good and satisfy their fans since they are fun to watch the. Now their star players are out of prime and the other one still finding his self then trying to figure out if he can still get more decent pay cuts. Although they have good young players in their team but I think this is not enough especially SMB teams is full of young talents.

Farm teams are created for the purpose, and that is only to farm potential player that will eventually be traded to the strong teams. They might have started strong like what we've seen so far, but I doubt they'll be in the championship since no "farm team" has reach a championship yet.

PBA start to collapsed when farm team has been added on the league and its like people know already what's cooking inside of those team that's why many fans are now not watching PBA since somehow they make the league so boring and they always take those favor asked by those billionaires.

We can't remove that fact anymore, manipulation is not by far, as there are two major franchise companies who really dominates the league, but it's too early for that as even manipulation can be done if there's no bettors they can't do anything, they need to pretend first so fans and gamblers will still be there to bets for their picks, but I agree to you gamblers needs to accept the high risk that they'll going to take,.

So far, both SMB and Ginebra are the teams that have the capabilities to dominate, I don't see any chance from MVP's squad, unless big trades happened and shuffle their players to form another competitive squads.

This could be the way Ginebra choses this season as we all know, the league is being questioned about manipulation of the game, and that’s why even the strongest team suffers a shocking loss. Well, politics in PBA is still there and we might not be able to witness the greatness of PBA again, so be sure if you are going to bet with PBA know its risk and be ready for a possible different outcome.

We can't remove that fact anymore, manipulation is not by far, as there are two major franchise companies who really dominates the league, but it's too early for that as even manipulation can be done if there's no bettors they can't do anything, they need to pretend first so fans and gamblers will still be there to bets for their picks, but I agree to you gamblers needs to accept the high risk that they'll going to take,.

So far, both SMB and Ginebra are the teams that have the capabilities to dominate, I don't see any chance from MVP's squad, unless big trades happened and shuffle their players to form another competitive squads.

Hopefully the TNT, but unfortunately they don't have a players that could match the SMB and Ginebra in the competiton particularly in the playoffs.

The big 3 teams now are all from SMB, if I may ranked, this will be my ranking.

1- SMB
2- Ginebra
3 - Magnolia.

You can only choose one of these 3 to become a champion this season, it's all Filipino and they have bigs to dominate. As of now, SMB hasn't played yet as they are given a long rest, their debut will be this friday against the Rain or Shine, this should be an easy win.

The loss was really huge for the team since he is their best player, without him they will struggle as they don't have a lot of players that could bring some firepower to win. ~~Low scoring game, should have favored the Bolts buts since Newsome was out,~~ they were not able to do that. I wasn't also aware that he was out, you know, PBA does not have an update regarding that or I just didn't check, i was just curiuos why they were the underdog seeing the live betting odds.

Edit : I have checked the boxscore fo the game and I saw his name on the list, Newsome actually played 32 minutes but only contributed 15 points.
