The line seems justifiable though, NLEX is basically playing without an import if the new import will mess the chemistry. I mean, it could possibly happen since the practice is very short or maybe they haven't practice yet, regardless, it's not expected that the new import will play right away based on the chemistry of the team.

Judging on lines currently availble, they are +8.5, so it could mean that they have no import, or even if they have an import, I think there will be a chemistry problem and it's hard to win against a Magnolia team which has been very dominant so far.

I think I'm gonna be betting on Magnolia -8.5 here before this line will move.

This is not new, if you have the money and connections, you can still get out of it no matter what the issue is.
Well, that import deserve a better league and PBA might not meant for him. The PBA should be more strict when it comes to punishing whoever made a serious mistake and not the one who are the victim. This is the problem with PBA until now, there is too much politics and those who are on top always have the influence for every decisions.

They can easily replace an import, but coaches tend to stay in their positions for a long period, especially in the case of Pido, who has been a coach for a while now. However, consider how his team is performing—they aren't winning games, and yet he is still coaching. If this were in the NBA, he would have been fired and replaced a long time ago.

Who are the Bolick fans here? He's not yet going to come back to PBA because he's going to play for the Pilipinas Super League with Davao Occidental Tigers. Well, this isn't for the money because for sure the offer there is lower from a PBA team's offer. I am looking for an article but it's a Facebook page(Basketball Zone) that posted it. So, this is either true or false but still, an interesting coming back for Berto and seems to have some stretching before a whole comeback to PBA.

I understand why the support of the fans goes to the import. We all know what kind of personality Pido has. He has been involve with lots of altercation in the past among his players, more popular was on Romeo, and i think that was the reason why Romeo got traded to TNT before he finally landed with SMB. Maybe even with Pringle also, as he also followed Romeo though he landed in different team but is owned by the same company.

NLEX has a quite good start this season, thanks to their import, so now it will be a tough job for them to replace an import that could equal the skills of Robinson or better than him. This actually a good news but probably people hve shifted their interest on the Kath-niel break up news! LOL>.. Grin

So aside from the PBA season, there is also the East Asia Super League in which some PBA teams likely participate. I'm not sure how many, but I managed to bet on the Meralco Bolts today with a handicap of +10.5 (during live betting) against Jeremy Lin's team.

Your money your call, depends on how you take your position but -7.5 is quite decent for SMB..

You need to have the courage to bet on ML as Ginebra is actually winning; they just have some problems with closing out games. I think the most consistent team currently is the Magnolia Hotshots. They are good at covering the spread, especially against a team that is at the bottom in terms of standing. As we all know, it was Magnolia that gave Ginebra their first and only loss in the season, but that was a controversial one due to an obvious non-call foul.

Not easy to forget kabayan that's a huge double digit lead from start up to the 3rd quarter then Gin kings lose that big lead and allow magolia to snatch the game from them, though it's controversial but the problem in keeping their big leads is something that not usual for them especially it's coach Tim who's mentoring them, not sure what's the problem but in my personal opinion it's more on the chemistry which still adjustable and still easy to make certain adjustments,.

Agree that they are still winning and that for sure is important, once they find that blends again it will be easier for them to continue that winning attitude.

Yes you are right that mate ginebra it has only 1 loss and that loss came from the current number and leading team which is magnolia. But anyways still the performance of the barangay teams is very good as of now and what we saw from thier play against blackwater which is in the early quarter blackwater is leading but in the second half until the fourth quarter ginebra give their best to win the match. Without Justin brownlee has a huge impact for the team but our local do thier Best Tobe the best in this session.

Checking out Bishop's stats, it's clear he's a solid import, but what's lacking is the impact on the team. Brownlee has this ability for elevating his teammates, and Bishop hasn't quite pulled that off yet.
