I'd lean towards the hotshots, but I'm a bit unsure about how Ginebra will perform.

That game was an easy win, with Magnolia just being Magnolia and beating Northport with a final score of 112-74. It almost looked like Team USA vs. Philippines, LOL. But seriously, congrats, that was a breeze.

Are you thinking of betting on the next game? Maybe you'll change your mind now that you've already secured a win.

The Hotshots have been winning games dominantly, so covering the high spread shouldn't be a problem. The game kicks off in 10 minutes, so we should get that bet ready. Personally, I'll wait for the game to go live and do some betting. Last time, they only really picked up steam in the second half, so I might hold off until the first half is over, hoping that Magnolia will be trailing by points. I can then make a bet with a better spread and odds.

I hope you have placed your bet before the game started mate. Magnolia blew NorthPort starting from the first quarter, the lead balloon to as high as 20 points, hard to place bets when you favor Magnolia on that stage of the game. Magnolia haven't lose a game yet since that mini tourney, they been on a 14-game winning streak if i'm not wrong.

I'm just lucky that my bet on "under 208.5" win as Magnolia and NorthPort's average is more than a 100 but fortunately, NorthPort had a bad night tonight.

On the second game tonight, i have Converge -8.5 @1.90 vs Ginebra. First game of the Kings, might have problem with chemistry.

It was a thrilling game, but the bettors ended up feeling let down in the end.

Anyway, we've got two games today. Maybe we can bounce back from our losses if we double down, hehe.

The first game is Magnolia vs. Northport, and the second game is Ginebra vs. Converge. Let's check if this Ginebra team is still super risky, even without Brownlee. For the favorites, we have the spreads and odds  below.

Hotshots -8.5
Ginebra -7.5

I'd lean towards the hotshots, but I'm a bit unsure about how Ginebra will perform. Since it's their first game, they might be a bit rusty, similar to what happened with SMB when they couldn't maintain their big lead. Plus, Ginebra has a new import, so it's smart to wait and see if he'll click with his teammates.

I might go for the under on the total (haven't checked it yet) because I think they'll stick to their defensive style – that's just their nature.

Speaking of Terrence Romeo, wow, he's hot in the first half with 19 points and have not missed from the rainbow country, 4 out of 4.

SMB will win this game easy, Romeo at the first half already made a huge contribution and it seems like he is now fully healthy, the TR47 is back!

So without JB for Ginebra, this team is really the team to beat, if NLEX would not be able to come back in the 2nd half, I'm afraid that SMB will win by a huge margin and the spread of -6.5 will be easily covered. 55% from 3 point line so far for SMB in the first half, let's see if Romeo would continue his hot shooting, you know it's hard to stop him once he build his confidence as he is a streaky shooter.

This was my prediction after the first half, but it turns out I was wrong. Sad

NLEX did not give up on the game, despite trailing by a huge margin. They worked really hard to get back in the game, especially their import, who you could already tell was exhausted but still kept playing. Classic game! That's the kind of game we want to see as PBA fans. Although I lost my bet on this, I don't feel bad, as I was enjoying the whole time watching the game.

By the way, have you noticed that "SMART Live streaming" is so delayed? Good thing we have some alternatives from other streams (though illegal).

I think most of us got suprise with what happened on that game, I'm also assuming that it was an easy game for the beermen but it's the heart of the fighting NLEX that gives them the win, I'm just happy to see TR7 is back and with how the announcer highligting his name, I think as a fan it's really a music in my ears, though they've let NLEX snatch the game but it's PBA right? we really can't conclude who\'s going to win till the final buzzer.

Congrats to those who place bets for NLX both ML and Handicap, that's something sweet for the ML as the last time I checked it was more than 2.5 not sure but as an underdog the odd is really good for them.

You can't rely on their streams, especially if you are betting live, as you won't get the right timing of the bet since their live streaming is a delayed telecast. It's better to watch on your local channel or, as you've mentioned, watch on illegal streams as they get their feed from the local channel.

It's funny that Mikey Williams is breaking his silence and tells all of the rumors that has been said against him are not true. He's not asking for a fee when he's being asked to play for the Gilas but why he did declined it, right? Everyone has their own sides and this time, ....
It's the management against him; he can't expect that people will believe in him. But it's good that he didn't keep silent on this issue. At least we know his side, and we can think more clearly about which side to believe. But it's already done, and Gilas already won a championship. It might be different if he did play, so that's a blessing in disguise.
Yeah, what's done is done and now the thing is about his comeback to TNT.

his team is asking for a 2.4M pesos monthly from TNT to play. That's a huge payday for him if he's going to be allowed to do that but isn't he cut already and terminated? That's more than the maximum salary allowed by the PBA management. These players are asking a lot and it's always goes under the table bu with such asking salary, will there be a team willing to take him with that asking price?

That's too much to ask. I think JuneMar Fajardo's monthly salary is just around 1 million pesos per month, so does he think he's better than the 6-time MVP?
Maybe, he thinks that he's better with that offer. I guess it became a trend when Ahanmisi started it out with the Converge and then next with Teng and now him. I don't know but the PBA management should also increase the salary cap because AFAIK, it's just 420k. With such demands and teams that can pay such amounts to their best players, they should give that a consideration.

@Hypnosis00... I lost my entire bankroll in this game. Damn, SMB. I thought they'd have a strong debut as they are fresh, but they couldn't hold their big lead, so it's very disappointing. I might cool down for a while, Bro. Let's see what would come next while I'm refilling my bankroll.

I watched some videos today regarding the NLEX import, and I found out that he was an NBA 5th overall pick for the Sacramento Kings. So, that guy was really legit, but JMF gave him enough problems. Maybe SMB will do better next time. I'm waiting for their big bounce-back win. Anyway, congratulations to the winners. I saw some betting options before the game that would win you x50 (IIRC) if you bet on SMB/OVERTIME. I missed that one, though.

What a game! I didn't expect that NLEX would be able to come back in the second half and win the game in OT.

Romeo was hot in the first half, but in the second half, he was pretty limited, although he scored some go-ahead baskets when needed with only seconds left. However, Rosales ruined his night with his cold-blooded 3-point shot that brought the game into overtime.

JMF was able to survive the game despite already having five fouls with minutes left in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, SMB was not able to capitalize on their attack in the OT, despite the NLEX import being already tired. It was a very entertaining game overall, but if you bet on SMB, that would be a heartbreak.

Imagine, they were up as high as 19 points in this game and still lost, not only that, they got tired more as they played extra minutes. Not a good debut for them after a long rest.

Moving on, we have two games tomorrow but the most exciting is the SMB debut in the season, we will see JMF once again, the ABAY!

This game is what i'm waiting to see if indeed Junemar Fajardo will dominate once again in the PBA with all the good showings he has on the FIBA and ASIAN games campaign. I know that this first game is getting to know each other as they have not played together as a team for a long time but i'm still hopeful that they will defeat NLEX and cover the spread.

SMB Beermen -6.5 @1.84 vs NLEX

On for that 8th MVP trophy JMF15 hehe.

I'm very vocal in terms of  being an avid fan of SMB, not  just JMF I'm also excited to see TR7 and if I read it right TRX is also been activated as part of the 15 man players of SMB, might be interesting to see if how SMB will play today, though what you mentioned can also be a factor even they are doing practices, it will be a different venue once you are already competing with another team.

JMF 8th MVP is not by far, with how he performed during the World Cup and Asian games translating that same intensity inside the PBA, and the dominating chances are really high.

Speaking of Terrence Romeo, wow, he's hot in the first half with 19 points and have not missed from the rainbow country, 4 out of 4.

Seems like we will not see TRX in this game because that guard rotation of SMB is too deep and one thing i have observed with the plays of Jeron Teng thus far, not deserving of the max contract that he asked hehe.

Junemar Fajardo seems quite but still effective downlow and giving Robinson some hard time scoring in the paint.

SMB vs. NLEX is coming up. As per my sportsbook, SMB is -6.5, which I find still reasonable since they are a strong team. However, I would not gamble on that; instead, I would go for the over in this game, which is over 210.5.

By the way, the first game is already over. Blackwater got their second loss against DYIP, who's the underdog in this game.

Good luck with your bets, guys. Let's enjoy the last game of the day.

They need to use whoever is available to support RHJ, with Oftana and Castro plus the big men who can help they still have that competitve squad who can actually win a game, TNT is TNT we know how they play together and they are not doing anything to reason out with how they play the game, they will play whoever their opponents and they show up the way they always use to, no further reasoning but to maximize and try to win each games that they will compete.

Though same with your argument, they don't have that much scorers compared with SMB and Ginebra but with pride for being the last season champ, I think it will help them to try harder.

As long as they maintain a healthy import, TNT will stay competitive. However, it's undeniable that their championship odds are diminished due to the absence of two key players. While Castro is undoubtedly skilled, we can't rely on him to carry the team consistently. Additionally, RHJ hasn't fully proven himself this conference, and personally, I'm not satisfied with his production in his debut.

Like what I've mentioned, RHJ is something that they still get aside from the locals, they can maximize him even though the first debut did not come out as what we or most fans expected but adjustments will be done for sure, he is already comfortable with his teammates and he will utilize whoever is with him and will compete no matter what.
Fingers crossed for the team's success this season! They might not be the top contenders for the Finals, so pulling off wins against powerhouse teams like SMB, Ginebra, and the lately impressive Magnolia would be a pleasant surprise.

By the way, I had my money on Phoenix because I was hyped up by Ricci boy Rivero, but, well, I lost that bet. Turns out, he didn't quite deliver in that game against the Magnolia.

It's exciting to see how TNT will try to hold their pride and continue to bring that balance to the league even without their key players.

All I can say is " I HOPE THEY'LL DELIVER".....
