Thanks for sharing @bisdak40. I thought JMF will be out for the season since that has been the case in the past. I didn't pay much attention on what kind of injury he has but since he is set to return this January 12, this is a big news not only for SMB but on the PBA in overall. As we all notice, the PBA audience has significantly decrease, so having JMF especially if SMB will play Ginebra in the Finals, this would possibly result to a sold out game.

Calvin Oftana is one good player but carrying a team to a championship level is another thing, i mean he can't do it alone if Pogoy and Mikey Williams are not there to help him. He has really excel a lot this season, you can see his numbers ont he stats record below, he has a lot of 20+ points game, must be due to the absence of Mikey Williams and Pogoy that made him to produce more than hi usual, but at least we see how far he can go.

Yeah with the absences of both Poguy and Williams they need someone to step up for them and Oftana really show up take that spot, I think coach Jolas knew that he can use him as his main man after the import, so far even they are not the same squad as we know them they are trying to work things out and maximizing everyone that available to help in each games that they are playing, win or lose they are still competing.

TNT will make sure that he will stay for good and will provide whatever the needs just to keep him, we might not have that way to conclude but I'm pretty sure that MVP same with how SMC deals with their stars, they will give something that a player can't resist.

I watch the highlights but I didn't finish because I can't take it, but as I read on the comments it was really bad because he was taken through emergency stretchers.

That was very unfortunate for him. I saw the highlights and there's some commentators saying that it was intentionally pushed by Chinanu Onuaku but refs says otherwise. I think Chinanu Onuaku was already fined with that but the amount of fined is not even significant enough, I think there's a need to investigate for this because if Chinanu Onuaku was really guilty fine is not anymore, he has to be suspended or even ban from the league.

Hopefully he will be able to recover soon, I believe he will have a fast recovery because he is still young.

I still remember though when Mikey Williams first entered in the PBA, he already help TNT to win a championship. Before, during the All Filipino Cup, it's always the SMB who are dominating, but with Mikey Williams playing with TNT, their team gets better because their threat on offense have improve.

Mikey Williams, Pogoy, and Jason Castro, they are their big 3 I guess and they are really good playing together.
