Brazil and Argentina are two of the biggest names in South American football. The South American football teams have the ability to defeat any team, but it has been a long time since they have won the World Cup. It is undeniable that European countries dominate this tournament. For Argentina to win the World Cup, I wish Messi the best of luck.

I don't remember any big victories for Argentina for a long time, they have a very good team in terms of players, there are a lot of stars, but their interaction in the national team is not the best. Argentina is a very good team, but I will say my opinion that there are stronger teams in this World Cup and I am not sure that Argentina will be able to reach the final, but I wish them to do so.

I think that this time is the right time for them to perform better, maybe there is a long time without successes for them exactly because they didn't harmonize that well in the national team as these star players were young then, but now they have the needed maturity for such an important competition and also Messi their main star has the maturity needed to perform better in this event.

I am also fancying them to win this World Cup and if the odd is good enough I think everyone should try some money on them because it is now or never for these players to get the title.
I would also like to add that I see more confidence in all the players in their team than in the last few World Cups where the Argentina team looks stronger this time. This confidence will go a long way in playing well in the World Cup. Also they are probably thirty-five matches unbeaten so far. With that, they won this year's Copa America by defeating Brazil, adding that they are finalism champions.

Personally, I see Argentina making the finals but I have doubts regarding Brasil. Sure , they are in a great winning streak but maybe this streak came to soon ? We all know that happened to Italy after that winning streak.

I'm also thinking that whoever won the WC , didn't make it out of the group stages ....so France in big trouble ?

Portugal will play like is the last game of that country and I'm sure we will witness some greatness from them. Smiley

Talking about Brazil and Argentina, they will definitely not be far from winning the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Brazil always produces the best players at every World Cup and is a country that has won more World Cup titles than any other country. If you look at the material that Tite brought to Qatar, Brazil certainly has a great chance to make it happen, Brazil is even plotted as one of the candidates for the title.

Argentina also has a very big chance of winning the tournament every five years. Moreover, the La Albiceleste squad is in captivating performance. Argentina went to Qadar with an unbeaten record in 35 matches. Brazil and Argentina will fight for the World Cup trophy, but I also believe in surprises that can happen unexpectedly, the underdog team can sometimes lose games that could otherwise be won.

Brazil and Argentina are the strongest challengers to represent CONMEBOL at this world cup event in Qatar, these two countries seem to be more prepared than the other participants. they have a very impressive statistical record, that's why it's only natural that these two teams are the strongest candidates in this championship.

However, that does not mean that the squad from other teams is not superior in this championship. all the teams that will compete later, will appear all out to present the best for their country. there are still teams from representatives from Europe who are as strong as Brazil and Argentina, one of which is France, which has a depth of players who are capable in all lines.
but yes, there might be underdog teams that will surprise at the Qatar world cup later. just counting the days this show will start.

The Qatar 2022 World Cup will be the end of an era. Messi and Ronaldo will appear on the World Cup stage for the last time. I think they will retire by 2026 World Cup. Both will do their best on behalf of their countries, but I don't think they will contribute much due to their age. Now they are either substitutes for their own teams or they can't complete the match for 90 minutes.

Have you ever watched a game where Argentina or Portugal played? How can you say that Messi and Ronaldo are substitutes when they are pretty important players in their national teams? For example, in the game against Honduras Messi played the whole game, scored two goals and was the best player in the Argentinian team. As for Ronaldo, if I'm not mistaken he is the captain od the Portugal national team and you sad that he won't contribute much. Sure, they are a bit old but I'm sure we will see many great plays from them in this World Cup.

On one hand you are saying that CONMEBOL teams are capable of defeating any team, and on the other you are saying that UEFA teams are going to dominate this tournament. These two statements are self-contradictory. I agree with the first part, but not with the second one. But you are right when you said that CONMEBOL teams haven't won the trophy for almost two decades now. The last time was in 2002, when Brazil won the world cup which was hosted by Japan and South Korea. After that it was the UEFA teams which lifted the trophy in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018.

I think now all eyes are on Brazil to go all the way and realise their full potential and see themselves to the finals. They're well equipped to with a strong team and arguably the best attack force in the whole competition. Their position at the top of the world rankings and their superb unbeaten run in qualifying have made them the favorite to win the title in Qatar. Brazil has a very strong team and the form Neymar, Vinicius Jnr, Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus are in right now is scary tbh. I tip Brazil to win this one.

If Messi delivers, then Argentina will win this world cup.

Argentina and Brazil, both qualified without losing a single match in the South American qualifiers. They might end up winning the world cup undefeated in the entire thing...

After the glory of the South American countries to dominate the World Cup, since the retirement of Ronaldo Cs at the 2002 World Cup won the World Cup at that time, since then the South American countries have no longer dominated the World Cup, even that from 2002 until now, all the players those who strengthen their respective countries are the players who have been chosen and even the best, so not only Messi, even Cr7, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr, and many more..

I think this year's World Cup will be a tough competition from all the countries participating in this year's World Cup, so we'll see which country will come out as the Qatar World Cup Champion.

Qatar will definitely make this year's world cup very successful until the end without any problems.
The world cup in Qatar will clearly run and it is hoped that there will be no obstacles there and can provide a very good feel for all the countries listed in the world cup.

For the first match that will be played by the hosts and Ecuador, I still can't predict who will have more potential to win the match, because I have to see the composition of the players of these two countries before the match starts.

The big problem is that in case Brazil and Argentina tops their respective group in the first phase, then they will meet each other in the semi-finals. So in the final, there can be only one out of these two teams. That may be very disappointing for the fans, and I would consider this as a failure from the part of the FIFA. The only way to avoid this, is to have one of these teams finish at the second spot in their group. But that is near impossible, as both the teams are in weak groups. Brazil is placed along with Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon, while Argentina is placed alongside Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.

Actually the other group are same too, we can easily judge which country will qualify for the top 16 rounds. I think it's kind of settled lol, I don't find 3-4 good countries included in the same group.

Predicting which countries will qualify for the next round is easy, but predicting the champion is quite hard since a miracle can happen. People think Brazil, Belgium or Argentina will win this World Cup, but it's possible if England would win since many good players on Premier League are from England.

Brazil has odds of 4.00 to win the tournament. Wouldn't that be a bit on the low side if you think about it? I understand that they are top favourites, but a team like Germany is on 10.0 while almost all of Bayern Munich is part of it, supplemented with other world top players. We all know how Brazil - Germany ended in 2014. Germany is more than just an outsider, they are capable of beating any team in this tournament.

It's so close!, I'm very excited to watch all these amazing matches soon.

I'm almost 100% sure that Ecuador will end up winning that initial match even though the hosts will probably be a bit bitter about it after all the inaugural festival they have prepared.

But anything can happen. We'll have to wait and see

Despite being a small country, Qatar's ability to host the Football World Cup today is truly admirable. Qatar has never hosted a football World Cup before. So it's natural to expect something a little different with World Cup football this year. Only a few days left for the much awaited day to begin. However, there were negative comments about hosting the World Cup in Qatar. Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter said that Qatar is a small country, so he did not agree to host the World Cup in Qatar. But that time in 2010, Qatar defeated America by 14 to 8 votes and that's why Qatar is hosting the World Cup. The Qatar World Cup is going to be the last World Cup for many of the stars in the world of football, so football fans are expecting it to be different than ever before.

Qatar is small but mighty. Small does not mean they can't host and win the world cup. If their plays are strong and skillful enough to withstand with Brazil and Argentina then they are good to carry on. Though I have not really study the football history and I don't think, I have heard any country in the world that has hosted world cup twice so so for Qatar hosting the world cup once is not a new thing but it is normal.

I also believe this world cup is unique, because Qatar been refused to host the world cup and finally hosting it will make sure that they do well in this opportunity so that when they ask something international, it would be given to them.

Not only Modric, but there are many other players who are likely to retire from their national team after the 2022 world cup. Ronaldo, Messi and many other top players seem the most likely candidates to retire after this.

Rakitic and Modric are two good midfielders for Croatia, they are great players with almost the same quality. I'm not really sure about Croatia in this world cup, that's because there are other countries that are really good to be favourites, like Brazil, France, Argentina or maybe England too. I chose Brazil as the favourite, they are looking very strong for the 2022 world cup.
Yeah, this is probably one of the world cups that will have the most retirements ever. I can't remember any other with more.

It will be an historic moment, and it will allow new stars to be formed. I'll keep an eye on the newer players as well as they're also going to try their best to put their names in the world stage. This is their opportunity.
Normally every year does have a lot of retirements, but this one will be a bit different because we are going to see Ronaldo and Messi not being available for the next one, and that makes people look at all the other names as well.

If you check all the previous world cups, there were a lot of retirements but not names as big as this before, there are no names as big as Ronaldo and Messi, those are the two greatest players ever in history of football and they are retiring on the same world cup, well at least from world cups. That is why we are taking a closer look to all the other names as well. This is why, it’s going to be difficult to watch them, and if they lose which they probably will, it will feel even worse.
