It will be a thing of joy to see Lionel Messi win the world cup,it will be deserving,it will end an extraordinary career,I think messi can't give us the number of goals he normally scored even though he still score but what Messi has truly improve on over the years is his assist number,now I can beat my chest and say Messi is the best play maker followed by Kevin debruyne,  the Argentine defence is strong they got Romero, their biggest problem is losing Locelso to injury.

Moreover, in this case, it might be the last world cup for him, so he really has to go all out now because there is no time for that.
On the other hand, at this time the Argentinian players are quite good and promising, so the chance to talk more at the world cup is clearly big.

I think this news might be real. If rumours are going on it might be true. Ecuador players probobly arent getting paid much. I heard 8 players might be in on this so this makes everything confusing. If this is true fifa needs to act quick about this. But still the host is in on this so probobly will let them slip

There is no scenario where Messi doesn't play, who are they going to put instead of Messi? I mean not just Argentina, I feel like there are no teams in the whole world who would say no to Messi and would replace him, not any national team, not any club team, dude is the best player in the world and he is still best player in the world, even at this age.

I have heard that Qatar tried to bribe some Ecuador players to be able to guarantee starting with a win on the first day of the World Cup. The amount offered is said to be like 7.4 million dollars. This is really unbelievable. I wonder if FIFA is thinking of any sanction about this attempt. It is a crime in the end but I feel like we won't see anything big from FIFA for now. They are the host country and I guess they won't just throw them out of the World Cup while the whole tournament is being played in Qatar.

But actually they should do so. Qatar can't prove anything by defeating Ecuador. So there is no meaning in such bribe attempt. Just because of wanting to start with a win ahead of their supporters in their country, they can't find the right in themselves to bribe anyone.
