In fact, this World Cup in Qatar is going to be the best World Cup in history. Everyone is electing to make their party as strong as possible. This time Argentina, Brazil as the favorite team in the World Cup. They are in pretty good shape. The rest of the teams are working hard. I hope Qatar will present a good and spectacular World Cup this time.

I think saying that is also a bit of an exaggeration. We've had quite surprising world cups with several possible champions. This one really has a good set of teams capable of winning. Now, it is guaranteed to be the most controversial world cup of all time, without a doubt.
Qatar spent a lot of money to build and make its stadium and infrastructure very attractive. Besides, this World Cup is the first in the region.
Now, how successful will be, will be evaluated throughout the games.
I agree that in this game there isn't a clear favourite, most teams are equivalent with slight advantage for Brazil then Argentina but as everyone knows, in World Cup, you always see surprises and big teams might be eliminated early.

Judging by the bookmakers' estimates, the Netherlands have approximately equal chances with Spain and Germany. The Netherlands are rated at 12.7 and Spain and Germany at 8.8 and 10.7. These are fairly close estimates, indicating that the Netherlands is in the group of favorites.
By the way, why do you think that European teams will perform badly at the World Cup? The Cup is formally held in Asia, but in fact it is a time zone in Europe. Therefore, I rather expect that Europe, as always, will dominate.
I don't agree with this. Spain maybe the favorites from the UEFA region and Germany is also a quite strong side (although they have performed very poorly in the UEFA nations league). Netherlands is far behind when compared to these two teams.

I am just assuming that UEFA teams will find it hard to adjust to the climatic conditions in the middle-east. Last time, when the world cup was held in Asia (South Korea/Japan), it was Brazil who lifted the trophy. Another aspect is that none of the UEFA teams (not even Spain) seems to be in peak form right now. Brazil seems to be far ahead of all the other teams.
World Cup 2022 which is going to be played in Qatar with climate change and Conditions are surely going to have impact on many teams specially from UEFA countries because they need time for adjustment, but they have no enough time for this just because of European soccer season is on peak, so this is also going against them with teams from Africa and South America both are in better shape just because of these conditions with right now most of the UEFA top teams are in development process which is surely another factor for having not good performance from them many are coming with youths and few are having issues which are not going to settle soon.

Argentina and Brazil are also having youths, but they are better prepared for this and can do good performance, which is also big factor for having title in their pocket this time.
Argentina and Brazil are in great form this time. But I think Argentina team is more confident than Brazil. Their team understanding is very good. The coach of the team gave a unique introduction to his skills. This time most football lovers want to see Argentina win the World Cup. Good luck to Argentina.

Today the hearing is supposed to happen, that is, when people explain everything and questions are asked.

I'm not sure when the official answer will be given. That could be today or in a few days.

I don't think there's any chance that Italy or any other external team would qualify. The only possible outcome is for the matches played by Ecuador to be forfeited. In that case, Chile would classify.

As far as I know, it is extremely rare for the FIFA appeals committee to overturn a ruling by the FIFA disciplinary committee. And back in June 10, the disciplinary committee had ruled in favor of Ecuador. We can expect a verdict within this week itself (probably within the next 24 hours). The hearing is being conducted from Zurich by a 3-judge bench, and is done remotely. The problem is that the ruling may not be final. If either Chile or Ecuador lose, they can still make another appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

And FIFA made the final decision on this case.
https://www.fifa.com/legal/media-releases/fifa-appeal-committee-passes-decision-on-eligibility-of-player-byron-david

''The FIFA Appeal Committee has rendered its decision on the appeals lodged by the Chilean Football Association (FFCH) and the Peruvian Football Association (FPF) against the decision issued by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on the potential ineligibility of the player Byron David Castillo Segura with regard to his participation in eight qualifying matches of the national team of the Ecuadorian Football Association (FEF) in the preliminary competition of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Having analysed the submissions of all parties and after a hearing had been conducted, the Appeal Committee confirmed the decision of the Disciplinary Committee to close the proceedings initiated against the FEF. Amongst other considerations, it deemed that on the basis of the documents presented, the player was to be considered as holding permanent Ecuadorian nationality in accordance with art. 5 par. 1 of the FIFA Regulations Governing the Application of the Statutes.

The findings of the decision passed by the Appeal Committee were notified to the parties concerned today. The present decision remains subject to an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.''

Therefore, this decision is not yet final and Peru can still appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. However, will this final decision be made in time, before the start of the world championship in Qatar?
This is a very unpleasant situation for Ecuador because it may happen that they go to Qatar and find out a few days before the start of the World Cup that they are banned from participating in the World Cup.
The question is whether any other national team can really replace Ecuador so quickly and how much it would affect the regularity of the world championship.
What do you think?

This is something very painful for the Ecuadorian team, but and I say something, when FIFA decides something it is very difficult for it to be reversed, they can very well accept all the arguments that are necessary, but it is something impossible that for a player who has a nationality problem they have to remove him from the World Cup, although now I'm not sure how things are being handled in FIFA, if they excluded Russia, at the football level at least I can expect anything, more if there is money from By the way, we all know all the shady deals that were in FIFA a few years ago, but now Ecuador will play in the World Cup, it has already been repeated several times.

Well, I think that if it is a controversial World Cup, well now you have to see everything that happened, first the change of dates, because this World Cup will be held in November when it was always held in June, the eyes of the world are also on Argentina and Portugal, because the biggest controversy will be about CR7 and Messi for the simple fact that it will be his last World Cup, it can also be speculated that Brazil will have a very good performance, it is also said that it will be the last World Cup for Neymar Jr, so all these things come together and they can perform in a great game and everything will turn towards them, we cannot forget that Germany, Spain, France are teams that can surprise.

In fact, this World Cup in Qatar is going to be the best World Cup in history. Everyone is electing to make their party as strong as possible. How can you say that this will be the best world cup in history? Already some of the former players have spoken against the human rights abuses and corruption in Qatar. And fans are not happy with all the restrictions being imposed upon them. If you believe that splashing billions of USD just to show off their wealth can help Qatar, then you are wrong. They are yet to distribute fair compensation to the 6,000 plus workers who died during the construction of the world cup stadiums. I would rather say that this edition will be one of the worst in the history of FIFA and it will be like a black mark for them.

I agree with you. Qatar won the organization of this World Cup in a very dubious way, labor rights were clearly violated, and for many fans it will be very difficult to get there due to high travel and accommodation costs.
All this is very far from what we are used to seeing at the world championships in Brazil, Italy, Spain... where fans could truly enjoy the football spectacle.
The fans are no longer important, only the money and earnings from the tournament.

Well, we cannot forget that soccer has a great business model that is obvious that what they most want to have is money and spend a lot of money, Qatar is no exception, yes, yes, it is a good World Cup and it will be different, but this is something that cannot be avoided, the rules are many things, even in hotel stays and everything is very radical, this is something that cannot be disregarded, some tourists complain, and it is not for less, if you go to a World Cup people are going to meet, to disfuar and obviously there must be rules, but not so strict, it is obvious that a lot of money must be spent, but in that country much more is spent.

I doubt that anyone will bother to check the pairs of tourists who, although for the sake of formalities, entered the country separately, but walk and sleep together. I know about the conservative nature of this country, but we all understand that any ideology has a huge amount of hypocrisy - if we turn to religion, then all these "entertainment" games/competitions are not encouraged by the radicals. But nevertheless, Qatar wants to hold this tournament and wants to attract tourists. I am sure that tourists informally will behave very freely during the World Cup, although formal restrictions will allegedly take place.
I agree, to a certain limit. Hotel management can't install cameras inside everyone's room. So if an unmarried couple decide to sleep together, then in 99.99% of the cases there should not be a problem. But the remaining 0.01% is the issue. I am saying this, because previously there have been similar incidents in the GCC. Unmarried couples were arrested and jailed, just because they were having physical relationships. If they really want to attract tourists, then I don't think that they should stick to these stone age laws.
As first Gulf country going to host mega event after 50 days, but sadly things are surely confusing because Qatari authorities are not going to allow anything which is against their belief so with this most chances a big number of western fans are going to refuse for favouring their countries in this country because I was feeling they will bring some soft policies.

But, nothing going to happen for them as they are still not allowing anything against their law even Prime Minister of Qatar already announces please respect local culture and laws so with this all now I am feeling they have to ban these countries from hosting mega events because this has never been fair to do things like this when you have around 90% countries which are non Muslims, and they want to celebrate their wins and favouring their countries with their own way, but your law is not allowing things like these.  https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2022/06/349859/qatar-enacts-sex-bans-for-unmarried-fans-ahead-of-world-cup

I think need respect about culture in Qatar and not make the same with other countries allowed with alcoholic and some thing bad based on culture in Qatar. I don't sure this reason seem controversy and need to debate, based on religion in some countries we need respect and did which one allowed and left with some rule not allowed in Qatar. Simple I see what rule have applicated by Qatar government and I think this time World Cup begin more luxurious than held in other country before. I don't see reason about Qatar try to make difficult for tourist in this World Cup because they have make all easy if each other side understood about rule and culture there.

I can't say the same, this is the most controversial World Cup I have witnessed it is possible it might be the worse. All the countries are making up their team to get the best squad they can get for the world cup. Every team is working hard to be able to get to the heights of the competition which will make it even more competitive but I hope things turn out as you say.

I don't completely agree with this, Because winter in Qatar lasts for 3.1 months, from December 4 to March 8, with average daily highs below 26°C. The coldest month of the year in Doha is January, with an average low of 14°C and a high of 22°C. So this can benefit many countries competing for trophy.
The influence of the weather or the environment will not have such a big effect on all players from all countries, because everyone also knows how the conditions in Qatar are every year. Because everyone can see and conclude as you conclude so that players from all countries can immediately prepare themselves so that they can still perform optimally in any condition.
Yes of course, because the planning team from FIFA had planned it carefully in advance, however, unexpected things could happen at any time. Addition, maybe this information below could be more convincing.

Even I am expecting few restrictions are going to impose but still too much hype about this is working around because many peoples are not happy with Qatar, and they are trying to create mess up which is never been ideal.

But negative mind peoples are doing their job so just because of this we are having some things which are surely not going to be having any impact like alcohol is already allowed in hotels and if something happening in hotel rooms no one going to check are you married or not these things are manageable in these countries even recently we have some news from Saudi Arab they are giving few relaxations for these things because now they are also understanding foreigners are coming, and they want to live like they want so if these things are having any big impact then surely FIFA and Qatar sports authority will be available for all clarifications.

I honestly believe that in stadiums law enforcement will be much more lenient than on the streets.
The world will all be looking at what happens on the pitch and in the stands, I'm sure Qatar, despite their conservatism, will not want to make a bad impression on the world.
However, I believe that the law will be strictly enforced on the streets and commercial establishments, so tourists will need to control themselves so they don't commit any bullshit that they may regret later.

We already started to see these issues and the world cup hasn't even started yet:

A Mexican woman reported an assault in Qatar. She faces jail, 100 lashes.
"Although I had the forensic evidence of the beatings and everything, they believed him," Paola Schietekat said about the incident, which has made international headlines.

I think we'll be hearing a lot of these things when thousands of foreign people arrive there.

But in the news they wrote that even for ordinary tourists the rules will be soft and they will be able to drink beer. Similarly, girls - all these restrictions concern the Qataris themselves rather than tourists, and even more so football players. If I remember correctly, one of the players is openly gay and he criticized Qatar for homophobic laws, but it is obvious that no one will detain him there or prosecute him for homosexuality. All these restrictions are rather far-fetched and the players will not notice them. As for the rest of the conditions, they are accustomed to a change of scenery and, in general, all the players will be on an equal footing - Europeans, Americans, Africans and Asians.

They announced that beer will be allowed in the stadiums, just before the start of the match. Alcoholic beverages and beer will not be available anywhere else. Unmarried couples and LGBTs are banned irrespective of the nationality. So I don't know how much change has been made for the world cup. Let's not forget the fact that Qatar is one of the more conservative countries in the GCC region, along with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Rules are stricter when compared to more liberal neighbors, such as Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
I don't think anything will happen if beer is not sold in stadiums. For example, in Russia it is not sold during matches, only non-alcoholic beer. But if fans are not allowed to drink alcohol even in bars, or not allowed to buy it in shops, it will of course be a frustrating experience for the football fans. I don't think government will be making severe restrictions for tourists though. It's more likely that the locals will be affected.

Although we know that the World Cup will be in Qatar, it was for financial reasons. Allegedly the aim was for Qatar to open up more, easing this kind of measures. But of course that won't happen, and it will be the fans who will have to adapt to the Qatari rules. Anyway, it's going to be a strange World Cup for everyone.
