Their short runs made it possible. The Aces were able to get some stops whenever Stewart was denied to have the ball. That's their chance for a lower percentage of an offensive play from the Storm. It may have been the strategy from the start, don't let Stewart receive it because it will not be easy to stop her.

Maybe the Aces used the first game in observing Stewart then in the 2nd game they will surely be ready and know what there will be gameplay, I think the Storm would likely need to look at this any further and they need to stop A'ja Wilson if they want to win the next game,

Now here are my picks for tomorrow's game, for the WNBA 2022

Connecticut Sun VS Chicago Sky

Stake odds for this game are 1.86 for the Sun while 1.84 for the Sky, this is now really close odds for these two teams, and I think it could also be a close game and the Sun could take revenge on the Sky, or the Sky will upset the Sun on their own court, for me, this is a 50/50 game but if Candace Parker could create an opening for them then this could be a win for the Sky again, but if the Sun could stop Parker and let Jonquel Jones do her way and give the spotlight on him, but I will still go with my favorite team the Chicago Sky,

Seattle Storm VS Las Vegas Aces

Stake odds for this game are 1.80 for the Storm while 1.91 for the Aces like the Sun VS Sky this is also a hard game to predict now that both teams are tied, and surely both teams could win this but right now the Storm has the home court advantage, but that is not because the Las Vegas Aces can surely bounce back from a increase in leads and they surely know what they will do with the Seattle Storm, for this game I am going with the Seattle Storm,

^Ooh, you are ready.
Games later are at 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM GMT +8. So yes I will input my bet early too. I just don't know if I can watch the game live. If not, I guess the highlights will suffice to be updated on whatever happened to the game.

I will go the other way.
Seattle Storm -1.5.
I can't decide in the game between the Sun and Sky. This is the kind of time I wish they offer player props so I can have more options.

Though the Seattle Storm is the favorite to win on their homecourt in game 3, I believe that Las Vegas Aces will capitalize on their momentum to win the upcoming game. They will be relying on the backs of their possible MVP A'ja Wilson with the help of their key players Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young. There is also a possibility that Dearica Hamby will be able to play in game 3. That is additional firepower for the Aces.

The Aces will start with confidence after winning game 2. They will likely follow the same strategies they employed last game. It is up to Seattle Storm if they can adjust.

I would never bet against Candace Parker when it comes to the WNBA. Now that Griner is out of the picture (at least for now), Candace has to be the most unstoppable player in the league. I suspect she’ll be winning a couple more Finals MVPs before her career is over.
You are right. That's why even as a Connecticut Sun fan I am doubting to bet because of the Sky's strength and that is thanks to Candace Parker's presence. I know the Sun can make the game as close as possible but to win a game their performance should be near to perfection.

Offensively A'ja Wilson did great with a double-double performance of 13 Rebounds and 33 points while having Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray backing her up with solidifying their lead the entire game, while Breanna Stewart only has Tina Charles, but it was still a close game I really though that the Storm would win again, but Las Vegas Aces is eager enough to making this their win,

Yes, the Seattle Storm had a good start but the Las Vegas Aces gave them a rough time increasing the level of their defense and so is their offense.
A'ja Wilson took over the game doing it offensively and helping out on the rebounding side. Then, there's Chelsea Gray doing her normal thing and adding more to her highlight reels with the awkward shots that were said to be practiced and not lucky shots. Wink
Next will be in Seattle, if the Storm wants this win badly they will need to close it in their home.

Candace Parker was really awesome, and I am sure for the Chicago Sky in this Semi-final but the Connecticut Sun shouldn't be underestimated, on their last game it is weird enough that DeWanna Bonner doesn't do enough points, so there is that if she can make 20 much points during this game then I think the Sun may have got this but anyway the Chicago Sky won so I am happy about it, but next time will not be easy,

And on Britney Griner, it will be 9 years of jail time for her, and to me that long her career has just ended in an instant due to her doing that crazy stunt where it is a country that dub as illegal, and a possible prison swap could surely free the WNBA star but with no available news for its success but for me what she did she must face the consequence, it is not worth for an arms dealer and killer Viktor Bout, to be swapped for Britney Griner,

It was a close match I thought that the Seattle Storm would win this one they got it all covered up in the 1st quarter but the Las Vegas Aces got their momentum in the 1st half of the game and tied it at the end of the 1st half,  it was really a crucial moment for the Seattle Storm but
Las Vegas Aces are proven that they can win this match and make revenge from the 1st game that the Storm won, pretty much the game was surely entertaining to watch I never have guessed that Las Vegas could make a comeback, and the Sky aswell,

Loss by a point.

Ergh, that one free throw that was missed by A'ja Wilson, iirc.
I know they will get their revenge but I didn't expect it will be this close fight, it's so entertaining, and heart-stopper for every shot they will make.
Again, Breanna Stewart was leading the Storm with 32 points, there's no stopping her. But the Aces found a way to squeeze a win in their homecourt by answering offense by offense too.
A'ja Wilson on their side had the hot hands with 33 points.

Both series are now tied 1-1 after Sky also won against the Sun.

Here is the result for my picks on today's game,

Chicago Sky VS Connecticut Sun SCORE 85 - 77 - WIN

Just like I thought the Chicago Sky is back at it again, they have now taken their 1st game win against the Sun for the semi-finals, great game to watch, pretty much Candace Parker has done it again, along with Vandersloot, Quigley, Meesseman, and Copper great team effort in making those Scores to back up their lead, that is why I have my faith in the Sky,

Las Vegas Aces VS Seattle Storm SCORE 78 - 73 - LOST

This game was a loss, but it is alright anything can really happen, Aces are really this great and the game was close and I thought that the Storm will win this but to all naught, the Aces have forced their way and it was really a close game,

Here is my pick and prediction for games later in WNBA Semi-finals

Chicago Sky VS Connecticut Sun

Stake odds for this game are 1.42 for the Sky while 2.65 for the Sun, for the sky Ruthy Hebard still can not play for the Sky, although she is not that kind of a big loss for them, still, an injury is a loss, While the Sun there is no additional injury for them, but this is pretty much a close game and still there is no assurance on who's really going to win, this is what I think and it is really hard to predict for now, but for me, I think the Chicago Sky will do their best after that 1st lost, so I think they will be getting their revenge, so I will bet for the Chicago Sky,

Las Vegas Aces VS Seattle Storm

Stake odds for this game are 1.37 for the Aces while 2.85 for the Storm, for the Aces Dearica Hamby can not play but I think it is not a big deal, while Gabby Williams for the Storm is a sure loss because of Concussion but she is not needed in winning against the Aces on their 1st game against the them, for me a close game aswell but because of the performance of the Storm I think I will switch team on who I am going to bet, that is why this time I will be rooting for the Seattle Storm,

Lucky you! While on my part, I lost every bet I put on Aces vs Storm. I did not even hit the over, damn. Better luck next time for me.

I was not able to watch the game but was able to watch the highlights. And wow, Steward was magnificent. A tall one who fades away. How can they guard that? I think the Aces did well too, they played their strength in the 3-point area and they guarded well. Maybe a little adjustment and they will win next game.
I had the same question.  Cheesy Who will guard her and how? If you put a big woman in front of her then she will rely on her agility while if you put a smaller one or at the same height as her, she uses her length to win the match-up. She is a damn assassin.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUtUAz993H8
My favorite: Jump at 1:35 Shoulder fake and a fade away.
Aces will need to adjust some things, they sure can be dominating after catching up with the Storm's big lead. They have to match the intensity in the defensive end the Storm is putting to tie it up and better do it from the start.
Man I really thought that the Las Vegas Aces could dominate the Seattle Storm it was based on their previous games, but the Semi and the finals really are different games, and players surely play like there is no tomorrow, I really like that the Seattle Storm won against the Las Vegas Aces that means they surely are worthy to be on the top, Sue Bird was a wild point guard having 12 assists, and keeping the play for the Storm, I surely want them to continue what they are doing with the Aces, while the Aces only have 7 players playing I don't know what happen but the next game was on September 1 so we still have 2 days to think and realized the possibility if your favorite team  would continue a win or revenge will be made,
It's true, way different and Storm also proved something after defeating the Mystics.
The next game, I doubt it will be the same. Adjustments. It's difficult to predict who will win.

That was an intense game from the Aces vs Storm.
Oh man, Breanna Stewart. She was an offensive monster. How could you even stop that woman who has so much length and accuracy to shoot perimeter shots?
Then there's Jewell Loyd. A big help indeed, Storm needed that badly.
Sue Bird playing like a point god, It's like Jason Kidd at his veteran year of the Mavs championship. There's not even a sense of her aging. Wow.

Sun won too, both my favorites won the first game. Yey.

I was really amazed by watching it again and again but they can not take Aces lightly even though they have won 1st game, Las Vegas has a tendency to bounce back, and the game was really that close so anything is really possible and  a win for the Aces is also possible,

It's like either the West or the East but sadly they don't have that in WNBA.
How I wish someday this will be like the NBA but supporters seem like not going higher but stagnant.

I think many are comparing this to the NBA, although the name suggested that it is the WNBA, comparing WNBA to the NBA will not take a point at all, in my country our local basketball there if you watch it and compared it to the NBA you certain will say that NBA is in a different level, but you can not compare that to the NBA it is like there is a different vibe while watching the local basketball the PBA to watching NBA there is a different feel but we can not surely compare the level of play PBA to the NBA it is like in the WNBA you can not compare NBA to it because they are completely different but people there would surely compare the two, they will want to watch NBA because the level of playing the players in there are different with the WNBA and this is true but if we always compare that you can never enjoy watching the WNBA, just like I am watching PBA to NBA there are a different level of gameplay but there are also a different level of excitement, but I think in time people may learn to also have support to women basketball as well,

This game I want to be memorable if ever Breanna Stewart could carry her team and defeat the Aces. She is good, no doubt about that. For me, she is like the Kevin Durant of the NBA. But it will all come to being a champion. I know she will fight harder as she did with the Mystics. Maybe, what I want is a different ending rather than the tops being ahead again. Pro underdog to the max.  Cheesy

Yes, I almost forgot about Breanna Stewart in the Seattle Storm, she is quite a great player for them looking at her stats points right now and I think she is a big asset to them, making those big points and rebounds and as I am posting this the Seattle Storm did win the game with 73 - 76 and Breanna Stewart is pretty much looking good, along with Tina Charles but Jewell Loyd was the lead scorer for them this time if this continues maybe they can win against the Aces, I haven't made my bet this time because I am seeing who's going to win for two games, and looking at their performance first,

Everything is stacked against her though. She is against the number 1 seed. She does not have the homecourt advantage if it went to a game 5, and the Aces have a 13-5 record in their home. They are up against the Head Coach of the Year. Though it is just Hammond's first year of coaching, she was under Coach Popovich and when it comes to in-game adjustments, you know she could do it. Though in talents, Storms and Aces have an equal pool of talent to pull them off. This will all go down on how their stars will perform and how quickly the coaches could adjust.

Here's my bet on this game

Well, about that I think I will make an adjustment that the Aces would win this and I think the Seattle Storm is quite reliable with Breanna Stewart around, and well let's not take the part that the coaches really are something when it comes to making decisions and who's going to play and what kind of play they will do so yeah Hammond should get praise for their 1st game win on the semi-finals, Well about your bet the Las Vegas Aces lost to the Storm but I think you can make it next time,

Even though I am biased toward the Chicago Sky I surely don't know who I am going to bet this game is really unpredictable, but maybe I would just watch the 1st 3 games on what may happen, then I would base my prediction on that, and even though I am biased with the Chicago Sky, I really like this two teams and just like you I will surely support whoever wins and gets to the finals,

That's cool, then I am biased with the Connecticut Sun.  Wink I mean, also the same as undecided if I should take the bet but I will be cheering for them more than the Sky. I like both teams actually and whoever won on these two teams will be the one I am cheering for in the Finals.
It would be more cool though if the underdog on the other series will be the one who takes on either Sun or Sky.
Yes, the Storm. All the expectations are for the Aces because they are on the top but who knows if the Storm will suddenly become a formidable foe.

Their record is 2-1 in favor of the Aces in the season match-up.

Yes August 29 was the start of the Semi-finals and I am really excited about it, we still have 2 days, and after that, we have to look for again if there is additional news on injuries or players that can not play for that game, but I also got my prediction and just like you, I am also having a hard time making a prediction with the Chicago Sky VS Connecticut Sun, these two teams are pretty much hard to make a pick and I am still torn between, but for these I like Chicago Sky, more than the Connecticut Sun so I am biased with the Sky,

Don't be hard on yourself, it is really still a risk even though a team has their advantage and you think they will win that game, but we surely need to take out that doubt, if they lost we just need to shove it up and move on to the next game, and if we win we need to celebrate even in the small things, we just need to enjoy this,
