I think yes! If bitcoin price will consistently rise in everyday.

I think all developer are continuing to develop bitcoin and improve bitcoin as cryptocurrency so many people can attract to use bitcoin in their life, that will contribute to rise the price of bitcoin. So it will be possible.

Your basic, question, I think, is has the boat sailed?

I can relate, because I had hundreds of bitcoins early on that I spent on drugs on the original Silk Road. I've been sober for a year and a half now, and I feel like I've got a second opportunity in crypto.

I doubt we'll see the kind of percentage gains btc had from 2010 until now, but it's still going to continue to climb and I don't think it's too late to get in. That being said, as others have mentioned, if you want the big gains you'll probably need to look at alts. I'm heavy into Neo, XRP, and DeepOnion. I don't know if anything will ever take the number one spot from btc, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some huge leaps in alts in the coming years.

The downspin of alts caused by the fork is a great time to stock up!

Bitcoin will rise in the future but not by 1000's of % again.

I think if you want this type of return in the future, you need to look at some of the Alt Coins.

Some that spring to mind might be NAV coin, Zcoin, Feathercoin, Black Coin

You may look for Potential Altcoins..!! For the second chance!!

That is a terrible idea. He will have spent more than anything he could make if he were to go buying into random altcoins. The reason Bitcoin blew up is because there was nothing like it before. Most of the alt coins I see now are mostly owners trying to make a profit out of pre-mining. If anyone ever feels like investing in altcoins, they should be researching that particular altcoin very carefully.

Personally, I only ever invested into those altcoins that I actually had a use for. If you do not have a good use for an altcoin's specific technology, then you should seriously consider whether the average person would have a use for it or not. Even if it's a niche thing it could still be successful. This should be the first question to come to mind when considering them.

In my opinion, in the next 7 years, rising of bitcoin's price same with the previous 7 years is possible because of many people are being interested in bitcoin now and using it as their investment vehicle. There could be rise and fall because of FUD and profit taking but this won't stop bitcoin in surging and rising to the moon. We are all hoping for it to rise to its full potential so we must accumulate all the bitcoin we can right now, regardless of the price, and let the exponential growth do its job.

why are you talking about 2010?
i have started a long time after that and i am still in a big profit that satisfies me greatly.

but please make sure to remember that it is not just about profit and making more fiat out of bitcoin. try to become more familiar with bitcoin and see what it is. use it as a currency some time even if you buy something worth $5 and see how it works. you will see that it is much more valuable than just some XX dollars.

If someone bought $100 of Bitcoin in 2010 and kept it until now, they would now have around $6 million.

Do you think the same could happen again in the next 7 years? If I now own $500 in Bitcoin could that be worth $1 million+ in the next 7 years? Or is it extremely unlikely for this increase to happen a second time?

yup, history repeats itself dear.

I strongly think it can reach 50k

No person knows what is possible to happen with bitcoin in the next 7-10 years. Its price can go as high as 1 million usd or as low as 10 usd. All we can say is that we hope that this will hapen, that its price will go as high as 1 million dollars. We all work here on bitcointalk and elsewhere for this wish to become true. My grand-mother was saying when guessing in cards: what it was, what it will be, what does the God want. So in ervery wish there is sothing that depend on us, something that depends on the past and something that depends on God.
The past tells us that the price of 1 million USD for one bitcoin in 10 years is possible, we do everything that is posssible for this to happen, let us say a pray to God that this will happen.

Hm, let me take a look into by crystal orb... Most of the people here are in the similar position. If anyone knew. And this is the crucial word. Now you know but then you couldn't have. Then you could only suspect or better to say wish for it.

I'm not gambler by nature so for me it was too risky. I'm also not a rich man who can afford to throw away like 1k$. Now i know i could have made a fortune but then it was not obvious. And even now people are hoping than bitcoin will go to 10k$, 50k$, 100k$ but noone knows. If someone knew, he would spend everything on crypto.

That's a good idea, but it's a little bit difficult to make it happen. It's been growing so much in recent years, and I think bitcoin is going to grow slowly in the next few years.

We have some hopeful analysts who are predicting that Bitcoin can go as high as $1 Million in the years to come..though personally speaking it can mean too much but then I would be so happy if that can happen soon. We have to remember that there is no guarantee whatsoever that the same growth percentage can be happening again and again. The only thing you can look forward to is the fact that there is still a big room for growth with Bitcoin...but as to how much will it grow let's leave the finite details to history though it can be exciting to speculate and predict.

you said if someone bought $100 of Bitcoin in 2010ish,they should have around $6.000.000 right now, right ?
which mean the price already up around or more than 10000%(more than this absolutely,it's example) right ?
if you say it right now,
that mean you're hopping Bitcoin price will hit around or more than $10.000.000,right(should be more than tthis to reach that point) ?
it's a lot of money for people,so nobody can afford to buy it.
and in the next 7 years,i think it will not happen because it's a lot of money.
from $1000~$10.000 it's a plausible price, because people can buy it and hold it.
how about $100.000++ ? it's a lot and i bet only some people will buy it around that price.
i am absolutely sure our goverment will prevent us to get into it,because we can lose all of our money in the second.
and what will happen with our global economy ?
