I`d say, It`s 80% of your mistake, because I believe that the reason is not in ICO, but in the skill of selecting. I thought the same way until I changed my methods of selection. Now I have more than 80% of successful ICO`s. Just do your homework good enough, research the project and your investments will be fine.

You need to be very careful with the ICOs these days, a lot of them are scam and most of them are just money grab.
Always do your own research, check the team, read the whitepaper and read/watch reviews.

Very bad but true statistics, now there are really a lot of scams of projects that appear on the market as mushrooms, now a lot of investors have stopped investing in projects, because it's very difficult to distinguish normal projects from scams.

It is just a matter of researching. If you do not know what you are doing then you should be ready for consequences like being scammed for example. If you are planning on being involved with ICOs then you should really try your best and research about them and decide if the project will be successful, that would be an indicator that it will likely be a genuine one.

There are a few kinds of trick ventures. To begin with is when engineers take away gathered cash. Second is when financial specialist get token, however no place he can offer it. Third is when engineers don't perform guide. May be can be different kinds of trick ventures. I think all such ICO involve 80% of aggregate sum.

That's why good projects now can not collect the necessary amounts. Because of the large amount of fraud, everyone is afraid to invest. I hope that regulation will reduce this figure and minimize the number of scam.
This is the situation we have found ourselves and it is really sad. I have been following some good ICO but only a few have been able to reach their hardcap, many are now finding it hard to reach their soft cap because many investors have been affected by the numerous scam ICOs going on.

Yes there are plenty of scam projects and they are making troubles for good ideas. You can wisely choose the ICO projects if there are more supporters and the idea is unique then you can trust or else you can skip the project.

The figure of 80 percent of fraudulent ICO is too high. Here it is said that to fraudulent are those ICO projects, according to which people expressed in social networks that they are fraudulent.

I know that in many cases, when tokens are for any reason delayed, the generosity campaigners start to panic and write that this project is fraudulent. I think that fraudulent ICO is much less. According to other studies, they are about a third, still as many as failed. This is a more real figure. It roughly corresponds to my practice, although by my calculations, fraudulent and failed ICO campaigns will have no more than 40 percent.
It seems to me that it is always very difficult to identify fraudulent projects or not. There are several cases, True no one could have assumed negative consequences. An example is CENTRA and Danero. But if you analyze the company's ico and their results, then almost half of them are scammers and projects that do not break at all.

I think slowly, it could be 80% or more.
In addition, ive read in the last few months about so many scam icos, but hardly about successful icos that are not scam.
I can only advise everyone, be careful.

I think all ico is a scam. if the ico coin is not in the market. although ico sales can be successful or hardcap, but if it does not go on the exchanger, I think it can still be said scam. so if you want to invest in ico, be careful, choose a really good one ico. which is possible if the ico coin will be list on the market.

I will agree with this analysis, especially on the percentage that end up been scam projects. Most people of these days just organize ICOs to dupe people and run away with their monies. And they are very professional in whatever they do, making it difficult to detect it at the beginning.

Yes, there are a lot of scam projects now, but there are also successful projects.  I advise you to spend time and find such projects, then to invest.
