What are your guys' thoughts on Tether? I'd ignored a lot of it prior to now, but WSJ is a little more reputable IMO.

Undeads.com - P2E Runner Game
I've got two rigs of 570's that I have basically dismantled. Whilst I could run them for the sake of it, at 16ct/kwh it's a zero-sum game. If someone rocked up giving me £50 for each 570 I'd give them the whole batch (14 of'em).

For what? Rigs taking up too much space?
Every time the price of the coin there are similar threads/questions. If the graphics card has already paid for itself it is not necessary to touch them, let them be "for the future".
470/480-570/580 is not so outdated to be in a hurry to change them. There are people who still use 7950/70.
There will be another increase in the cost of ETH (or any other coin that is profitable to produce) and the graphics card will again rise in price.

I honestly ever wonder if they will go "pos"
Its gonna take them at least another 10 years to do it at the rate they work

Lol, been debating buying some cheap 470s.   Since I started mining 2 years ago POS was always around the corner.  Maybe we should worry about the competence of the eth devs.

for sure.
there are so many other coins now that are destoying the ETH devs when it comes to devolopment and updates. It just doesn't seem to be a coin for the people its their coin, I mean there was a vote and it was decided to go propow. So they should get off their arses and implement it for the people.

Updates and development doesn't equate to financial success. How often is bitcoin being updated, its basically the same from day one.

I don't care if Asics have taken over the ethereum network either, big farms will always dominate and pay way less for electricity.  Big profits aren't for the hobby minres anymore.

That should sell instantly, have you considered listing locally?

Recently I've also let go of some 1060s for 140 USD and a 1080ti for 490 USD, they were brand new rma replacements. 1080tis ended up being the best bang for buck after counting for depreciation.
Ugh I've got like 8 Vega 56's that need RMA'ing but I'm to fucking lazy to bother with it..

EDIT: OHMYGOD what does it take to hit legendary?!

Yes I am starting to increase my GPUs, the second hand prices for rx570/580 are too good to resist but will they still be relivant when navi coms out?
what is everyones prediction on the new Navi GPUs. I am hearing they will be outstanding for gaming but not so for machine learning?

And haven't heard anyting since then. They really take their time when it comes to these things. Been this way since 2016 pretty much. You guys might not remember but POS was suppose to be live on ETH in Summer of 2016.
All I ever heard.. "don't buy any more hardware, ETH is going PoS soon!" Soo glad I ignored them.  Roll Eyes
haha x100 to this, for the last couple years it has been "too late" and eth going POS SOON!

Yet .. here we are a whole gold rush came and went, now just wondering if there will be another especially before "eth goes PoS" its already almost halfway through 2019

Last I heard regarding ProgPOW was that it was it going to be included in the next fork as long as it passed some 3rd party audit.

The audit was suppose to investigate if it would be benefical in the first place to implement and whether or not the ETH DAG also has an ASIC thread which can lead to 51% attacks.
