Trusting your gut feeling usually doesn't end well in gambling. I don't trust my gut feeling and I don't play gambling games with unrealistic expectations in my mind. Thinking that the big win is coming is simply a delusion. Nobody should fall under the control of his delusions.
Thinking that you will win after a losing streak seems completely logical, but gambling is based on random results and luck and not logic.
The martingale strategy seems logical, because it is based on the assumption that you will win after you lose, but that doesn't mean that this strategy is profitable. The results are completely random and not based on past performance.
It also depends on the game, if you play roulette for example and always choose black, then every time red comes up you can believe more and more that black should come up soon, but in fact the series can last quite a long time, so long that your loss will be so big that it will be difficult to win back, or you will completely run out of money to play. And if you play slots, then I don’t even know what series you can expect there, just playing on the expectation that you should win soon, this is just self-deception.

Have you ever had that feeling? after a crazy losing streak, the feeling that a win should be close is what makes us lose more.

Yesterday i did it again, made 1 deposit to the casino, and after losing all then i started making more deposits, it was that feeling that made me depo 6 times, and the win never came. Sometimes we need one of those reality shots to understand the danger behind gambling. This time i lost a big amount learned the leason and walked away. But in the end, i leave with that same feeling, a big win should be close, but it doesn't worth to keep trying.

At a point I believe this have happened to almost all gamblers out there, and the main reason why we feel like this was because we got too greedy, once you win good amount you are to secure your wins straight away, some people gets confused once they see large amount of money that could become theirs when gambling, but they always want more, instantly they will start thinking about their real-life problems and how much they need to fix that.

Many people are gambling to make money, they will surely risk what they can't afford to lose, this can also be the reason they get greedy, once a match is ongoing and you are already in profit you should be courageous enough to take the gains as you can't even tell what the end will look like.

The point I dropped is about sports games, while ongoing you can decide to secure profits or exit, but casino games are different, risk only what you can afford to lose, this is very important, and once you manage to lose everything you must not try to get it back, or else you will keep losing your money over and over.

For me these behaviors are just early symptoms of addiction because after huge loses people believe they can recover their loses and starting to making deposit repeatedly and to gamble again but in fact this behaviour will lead people to suffering huge lost and for long term i am sure those people will became an addicted and for me personally i have been facing this situation before several times but i was lucky at that time because i just realize that there was no certain results in gambling and important lesson is after lost don't ever thinking to recover again my loses and from now on i always be accept my loses everytime to gamble and if i facing the losing streak then usually i will take a break from gambling for 2 or 3 days

That's a logical fallacy in gambling.

There's no correlation between past results and future results, all bets are random, so if you suffered lose streak, it doesn't mean the jackpot or big winning will be close.

Making 6x deposits after you lose streak seems like an alarm for me, you better review your gambling activity, probably you're have an early gambling addiction sign.

It all lyes to disciplines because it helps you dedicated on your decision before begining to gamble, some actually learns their lessons after some tough experiences while some already takes personal decisions before they begins to gamble.

It is always hard to walk away when we still have more money to bet on after we must have lost some few bets, the thoughts is always like... Let me try to win atleast once and walk away without realizing that the risk of winning is usually too high so it becomes more risky for us taking a "must win" decision because we can possibly keep loosing and the casino would have a zero sympathy on you.

You as a bettor just need to help yourself by yourself and walk away when you have the first thought to do so either at your losts or wins.

That is chasing loses and as far as I'm concerned it's the easiest way to become a gambling addict. If a gambler doesn't have that self control to discipline himself not to over gamble, it'll most likely be a disaster because the probability of losing is greater than that of winning. The house edge in gambling gives the casinos advantage over the gamblers, so the percentage of gambling losers are always greater than that of winners, so that the casinos will remain in business. If you have a budget for gambling before starting and never exceed it, then it'll not be possible to over gamble.

Most gamblers have that feeling but don't realize that is not always happens because this is gambling where we can still difficult to win. We can lose more if we deposit more money because gambling is not a way to win the money although you have that chance. We must realize the reality that gambling can make us losses much money so we don't have to chase or recover our losses.

If we can not accept the losses instead trying to recovers, we will still difficult to get our money back and the losses will comes. We don't have to think that the win is closer from our losses because there is no guarantee we can win in the next rounds.

I feel the same way, every time I experience unpleasant results so that the balance runs out, thinking that I will definitely get more if I want to make a deposit to continue the game, several times following what is in my mind even though I often ignore it because it is according to the limit but the results are often more disappointing and lose everything, the same when getting a winning streak will be in my mind that I will immediately get a lot of defeats if I don't stop the game.
As a player we must have made the wrong decision by not being able to stop so we lost a lot.

Yes and I think most of us must have experienced such an incident, and I think it is something that is natural for humans to do as social beings but of course it does not mean that it can be considered normal if it happens more often.
The point is when you have experienced things that are significantly disappointing, then make the incident a lesson for you in the sense that you should not let such an incident happen a second or third time.

I understand that the opportunity to win is always there but it does not mean that you will be able to win after going through a number of big losses, so try to understand again about what and how gambling really is, maintain an understanding and awareness that there is not one or two things that can guarantee that you will win, the defeat you experience is not something that can be used as an indication that after that you will win and recover. Gamble safely, in the sense of not putting excessive expectations on winning and also always applying an approach that suits your abilities.

Most likely, the feeling of an imminent victory after a series of long losses is a sign of gambling addiction. I once read a post by a respected author and he wrote that the markets are counterintuitive. That is, intuition either does not work there or is very often wrong. Intuition and various feelings. Such as "the feeling of an imminent victory." This was said about trading, but, in my opinion, it is quite applicable to gambling. After all, in both cases, the most important thing is a strategy integrated into the gaming system. Like a diamond set in a precious metal frame. And both parts are important. And replacing these jewels with various feelings is a direct path to losses.

Yes multiple times lol

There is always this burst of hope and excitement that makes you think that this is it you’ll finally win and it doesn’t come so you are left to just be disappointed again and then  after this you just try not to expect anything to avoid any further disappointments and losses

Usually if I lose three times in a row, i take it as a sign to stop even though I had initially a good feeling about my bets it will just frustrate me if I keep continuing which make me want to gamble more

so i stop and try  to calm down get my head back and try to remove all emotions and adrenaline possibly before i go and try again with a little less expectation this time around

Always experiencing this before especially by playing same game over and over thinking that I will win big since I already lose a lot to balance my win rate until I made a realization that every bet on any games is independent to each other which means I can win big immediately on any day without losing first.

So I change game immediately whenever I feel that I’m already bored on all of my losses to that specific game.

Changing games is the best way to counter this kind of losing streak to give you fresh start.

Yes, but I do think that this also false on the category of gamblers fallacy. Of course as gamblers we always have that believed that sooner or later we are going to win that money back, specially if we have like a losing streak. But as far as my experienced goes, still very tricky, I mean you really don't know what the future holds, maybe we can bounce back, maybe not.

And with that, it will continue to pile up loses after loses but we still thought that a win could be imminent. However, everything is still based on luck and that unknown and we really don't know when we are going to win back or suffer another dry break and still lose.

This should be something that everyone who gambles should pay attention to, especially those who have been gamblers for long time because they certainly have more experience, the bitterness and sweetness of gambling will certainly give us better approach to every condition that occurs.
Having the belief that after series of defeats victory can come and coupled with feeling of curiosity is condition that can becomes complicated and all of this if continued will only provide series of much greater defeats.
Course you should stop immediately instead of getting carried away by the atmosphere of feelings that believe victory is near, remember that there is no certainty and no one can guarantee when victory will come.

And it really did came to me and it was like 3 weeks ago. It was big money for me and then I don't play that often because I don't have my buddy with me that I always play along when I go on my favorite land base casinos.

Sometimes the odds are treacherous to us.

I've also been tempted to keep betting more, believing it was "impossible" to keep losing for so long.

However, what I've learned after a few "reality checks" is that luck seems to have a set day and time to show up.

So, if at this moment I'm just losing money, there's no point in continuing to insist because that's not the time for luck to "visit me". It's better to accept defeat and try again later or later. Persisting in the game when the odds are against you is foolish.

An alternative, if you don't want to stop playing, is to reduce the amount of your bets so that you can stay in the game for longer without spending so much. If you notice that the odds of winning are returning, then increase your bets.

"A BIG WIN SHOULD BE CLOSE" That's what gamblers who are already on the verge of addiction and their psychology will continue to be bothered by the words of victory.

In fact, the victory never happened, even though he had made repeated deposits.
The casino already knows what you are going to do, so that the casino with a system that has been designed in such a way,
will continue to eat your money within the predetermined limit, then if it still survives there will be a win,
but the victory does not return the betting capital at the beginning, this is just a consolation prize to be more excited but in fact still loses a lot.

It is natural that one would always have the feelings of their winning always near but however, it is a normal feelings which is ought not to give in to  because in most cases, if one keeps thinking of being near to their winnings, they keeping gambling with such mentality and in the course of such they keep losing on and on which is not  a healthy gambling lifestyle.
Yes, because after all, almost winning = losing.
and losing = losing money.

A gambler only has 2 choices:
win vs lose.
there is no almost winning.

especially if it is luck based gambling, never mind, there is nothing that can be targeted, if someone is too serious about luck based gambling, then he will be much easier to lose, stressed, but continue to repeat the same thing, and in the end frustrated because he lost a lot of money, and made him addicted to gambling because of this.

curiosity when gambling must also be controlled, because this is also one of the triggers for a gambler to become even more addicted, when losing control.
