How can a gambler foresee a close win? I wonder how most gamblers always think the opposite instead of thinking right. A lose will always stand as a lose meanwhile some day you might get lucky winning after a lose also that’s gambling for everyone. After losing a bet it’s not a must I replay personally, same goes as winning a bet probably all this depends on the game available at the moment. Not in haste to play any game that’s not worth my money at same time the game we all trust 50% still fail as gamblers.

Have you ever had that feeling? after a crazy losing streak, the feeling that a win should be close is what makes us lose more.

Yesterday i did it again, made 1 deposit to the casino, and after losing all then i started making more deposits, it was that feeling that made me depo 6 times, and the win never came. Sometimes we need one of those reality shots to understand the danger behind gambling. This time i lost a big amount learned the season and walked away. But in the end, i leave with that same feeling, a big win should be close, but it doesn't worth to keep trying.

It is natural that one would always have the feelings of their winning always near but however, it is a normal feelings which is ought not to give in to  because in most cases, if one keeps thinking of being near to their winnings, they keeping gambling with such mentality and in the course of such they keep losing on and on which is not  a healthy gambling lifestyle. If one should gamble, it should be on a fun level and thought so as not to give room for near win mentality because that thought alone could cause a big loss to a gambler who initially should have been gambling for fun but as a result of giving into the thought of being near to winning, they feel like to keep trying their luck and the luck dawns on them that they continue to record losses. It is better you play once for fun than to keep playing and losing back to back with the mentality of winning big.

I used to have this feeling when i was new to gambling, and i lost a lot of money thinking in that way, it surely does not work like that. You can lose as many times as possible, without winning anything, being on a losing streak does not mean one is about to win. I think what causes that feeling is the urge not to leave when you have just lost a lot of money, but as a gambler you should be ready to take your losses and come back later.

After a long losing streak, it’s just better we stop gambling at that time. If we want to keep on trying and hoping to get a win before we give up, don’t be surprised that the win might not come. Sometimes before you will be winning, you might have lost so much money, and your win might not even be up to the amount that we have lost, so it’s just better we don’t always wait for a win before giving up sometimes.

When gambling, it’s better we have a budget, and we should work with our budget. After losing everything you planned to gamble with at time, then it’s just better to stop gambling, don’t even try to deposit more money, just for the sake of trying to win before giving up, because at the end things might not end up going well.

Its difficult to have a budget at the pint in time we want to gamble. I think whenever we are removing funds for expenses, investment and savings. That is the period we ought to set aside some amount that we will use for gamble. This will help for proper planning, and not support addiction. I know its a bi funny to start planning towards gambling. But its helpful if we adopt this strategy. No one wants a situation where we will use money meant for other purposes to be spent on gambling. Weve talked about this several times in this thread and it is right time, many gamblers see the need to start setting budget if they cant quit gambling.

Exactly, that is the importance of the budget. It should be strictly on spending only the required amount for that day and don't go beyond spending any other meant for something else.

It's a common feeling that turns out a mistake because of the emotion that we're feeling that we've got to win even just once, one more deposit up to being followed by more and more losses and deposits.

That's why we always have to tell ourselves that we're only gambling with this xx budget so that win or lose, we're going to stop after it runs out.

Emotional gamblers will really feel bad after losing that much without having to recover and that results into chasing the losses just as what you've said so, stick to the budget and stop if none is left.

Yes, I have experienced it before, I even spent all my money and sold some of my belongings, I was really messed up at that time, that's why now I'm not so active in gambling, maybe I only play once a week
Gambling can really have som devastating effects on a person when addiction sets it right. Sorry to hear about your experience, but thankfully you were able to recover and learned your lessons, even though you were taught the hard way. But the good thing is, if you’re wise, you’ll be able to use the horrible experience to make better gambling choices in subsequent times. Although some would swear that they’ll completely avoid gambling, which of course we already know may not be possible. So gambling once a week is a good decision, because at least it’ll help minimize the amount of time spent on gambling, thereby reducing the chances of addiction.

Sometime ago in 2020, a friend of mine recommended a certain gambling site to me. He claimed he has won a substantial amount of money already, all I needed to do was SPIN. The game and what it had to offer seemed simple and very juicy. I deposited some amount of money and started spinning to win. I won the first round but lost the money when I foolishly decided to spin again. I deposited more money to get back what I've lost and possibly get a profit, after all, my friend made a lot of money here and I'm so confident in making more money too. The more I played, the more I lost more money because the win never came.  I quit playing completely out of frustration when I realised I was not only losing money, I was also losing my sanity!

Any gambler that does not know when to stop is already putting his finances and mental health in danger. Some might be lucky like me to realise on time that they've been chasing losses while others may realise when it's already too late. Big wins can come anytime if that's your lucky day, except the gambler just wants to be greedy, then he stands the chance of going home with nothing.

Actually  its difficult to tell if there is any win ahead of a gambling session and that is why we are advised to gamble with what we can afford, and the best way to do that, it's by making plans on how your gambling session would look like. We only get approved to gamble because  we have attained  a certain  age, which is above 18. And this age range entails  that you are responsible for your actions, however we are now grown up to make good decisions and one thing that make us different from children  is that fact that we have to think critically and consider the effect of our actions before taking them.  While gambling, we ought not to respond to every thought that comes into our mind, knowing this should help us abstain  from gambling addiction.

I have felt this feeling two consecutive days, the casino where I play gave a bonus to me plus I had the weekly bonus and so I had some 20 dollars to play, I got from 20 dollars to 100 dollars and the greed got the best out of me so I thought the max win should be near since this slot is giving me so much money right now, I thought it was going to be a green session but as soon as I raised the bet I got busted directly, so guys I have said it a million of times already though now this is an advice to myself in first place and then to anyone who is serious about quitting slot machines, please do not raise your bet or you will get destroyed.

I agree as I found the force to move away with 10 dollars to place some sport bets and this is all I am going to do now, place sport bets, not deposit and be happy, so not worth chasing the max win or big win.

I have experienced it and ended up leaving the game for a long time, my stress at that time had lost a lot of funds but the victory never came
until one of my friends said to take a break first
if my friend didn't say so maybe I would have lost even more, from there I can learn that you shouldn't be greedy in every game and must have a fund limit for each game

The victory in the game based on the game play by the gamblers against the gambling algorithm.Actually predicting the algorithm is very hard, but once you predict the algorithm for some bets. Then the gambler will get all the bets end with the victory for the certain period of time. When the used money multiple to certain percentage, the gambler should withdraw their funds. But most of the time the gamblers get greedy at this point in the gambling site. The changed algorithm mostly get all your winning money to zero.So avoid greedy in gambling.

Revenge mindset, whether in gambling or actual trading, is bad. No one ever wins with that. You want to claw at something that towers above you? Such a fight is a handicapped match. Casinos, just like brokers, will always have an edge. That's why caution and discipline should be utmost in the mind of anyone going into gambling. Everyone should know their limit and what they can afford to lose so they don't endanger their finances. Once you hit your losing streak, leave. Don't allow any deep or faint voice speak to you. That's what I do.

Definitely it doesn't worth to keep trying cause you'll rather end up loosing over and over again instead of the win, I think this is a regular case for every gambler casie when you feel you're at the brims of winning and getting the huge jackpots you've been waiting for, it'll all end up becoming a frustrated decision. I believe it's a hard lesson to every gambler that gambling won't give you what you deserve rather it's based on lucks, I think one just need to draw themselves back when they eventually finding oneself in such situations of thinking the big win is close whereas is not.

Most time we gamble on Hope's of winning our next game, this is what most gambler's believes Soo for sure having the said believe that your next game is going to be the winning the the best for you as a gambler and also we should know that we have to expect whatever outcome regardless of what our motivations and believes are in this regards.

The reason why most gambler's keep gambling is because of the fact that, they know the next game could be their lucky game most especially when they witnessed a losing trends for a while.

I think that every player feels the same way, that a big win is already waiting for him literally with the next bet. And accordingly, the player bets until the moment when he completely loses his deposit. Therefore, everyone can limit their loss solely to the size of the deposit.

Don't ask about this, because I've experienced it and it's like that, which has the feeling that victory is near until it continues to deposit several times the victory never comes, finally I said it was a bad day and I was too greedy.

Sometimes our hunches are always followed, but we forget that the victory in gambling is uncertain even though we make several deposits, so it is better to take a break than to continue that the money is getting thinner.

I agree, we must learn to take the lose and walk away because if we stay there until lose it all, it will leave a bad feeling. And that's what I did, I take my lose and walk away.

but in the end the feeling is there, a big win should be close, and I know I will get it if I keep trying, but no one say it would be easy..

This is the reality of every gambler, they always think of the positive aspect without also looking at the negative side. People think of wining big or hiting the jackpot without considering the loses or dangers involved. This statement or comment you have outlined is the major cause of addiction. which is illutional and non realistic thought. But if anyone can learn self control, and stop chasing after loses then there will no problem of endless losses.

Gambling business is something that would really be that profitable for its owners on which it will really be that understandable that they would really be that making serious profits or money with this common
gambler behavior on which they are really that keep on trying out to chase up their loses or even trying out to win up the game on which this is really that something stupid to be done by a certain individual.

You would really be finding out yourself that you have done something stupid whenever the things becomes that too severely affected specially with financial condition.
You will really be having those kind of situation on which you would really be having thoughts that you must have that avoided it for you to be not affected by any outcome on which
it will really be putting up on a tough situation on which there's no one really likes for it to happen but well it will always reflect on what you have done.

It's safe to say, every single gamblers have been thinking this way. Not that, we're gonna lose more, but that feeling we might going to have a huge win is just around the corner after having such series of losses.
I experienced this situation countless of times. My friends too who has been gambling for quite some time now, they are still thinking this way. Sometimes their intuition were true, but most of the time It would only drain out all their remaining money lol.

This is the epitome of the gamblers fallacy, thinking that because you have spent x amount of money that you are somehow owed a big win and it often just leads to you digging a deeper hole for yourself. If we were to look at it completely objectively, then you could say that casino algorithms might be engineered to take certain amounts from players and then give back a chunk to keep them hooked - if you are constantly losing you'll never come back. However if we were to believe that there was none of this kind of rigging going on, then casinos are still up front with players that in each spin you are guaranteed to lose 3%+ of your spin amount on average, which will steadily deplete your wallet over time.
