Only people who are addicted and have a very high greedy nature will do something like what you said above, namely when he has won in front of his eyes but somehow he still wants to continue gambling in order to get more wins and you are right, it is not certain that after he returns to play he will get the win easily or on the contrary he loses money from the previous win because he has bet it all to satisfy the greed in his heart and as a result he goes home without bringing any money and is happy, instead he experiences great regret and sadness.
Those who have greedy will not know when they must stops gambling instead just keep trying to chase the win. We know that can happens to people who are addicted but that can also happens to people who can not controls themselves in gambling. Those people really need to check on themselves and see that they are greed from chasing the win. We can say that we are so close with the win but we must realize that we are still far away from the winning because we don't know when we can win from the games. So that makes us to understand that gambling is not for make money but only for having fun.
A tendency to be overly greedy in gambling can cause a gambler to experience greater financial losses and may be subject to socially unacceptable behavior. Greed should be avoided not only in gambling but in all situations because the tendency to be greedy makes a person avoid everything. In order to control oneself in gambling people should limit the amount of money allocated to them. If a gambler can manage the process of balancing his entertainment with his limited amount of money, his tendency to lose extra money can be greatly reduced.

Also to avoid being greedy a gambler should coordinate his gambling with time constraints. Spending too much time gambling can make it difficult for gamblers to maintain self-control, which eventually leads to addiction.

I can also agree with the idea you said that there are always some gamblers who think that a big win will come after they experience a significant amount of loss, but of course that is a wrong idea because in gambling the next result does not depend on the results you get in the previous session. Self-control does have an important role in gambling but I think all actions that lead to prevention can only be done by a gambler when they are aware and understand what and how gambling really is.

Betting on expectations can be a mistake, expecting a win after a losing streak is like expecting a team that scores very few goals to score again. It seems to make sense, but it is initially an event with a low probability, and it seems to me that it is better to choose something that happens much more often. And I also think that winning does not depend on previous betting results, there is almost no connection, especially if the player bets on different events, teams or even in different games.
that's why we should not put high hopes in gambling because the victory is difficult to get, it is impossible to happen just like that, luck will determine whether or not the gambling is won, but some people ignore this, they think they can get a big win for sure even when they lose sometimes there is a thought they can win if they gamble again with the next gamble that will definitely make them win.
I'm sure you yourself have experienced it where you gamble and end up losing but you have the thought in the next gamble you will be able to win and what is done is to gamble again.

Have you ever had that feeling? after a crazy losing streak, the feeling that a win should be close is what makes us lose more.

Yesterday i did it again, made 1 deposit to the casino, and after losing all then i started making more deposits, it was that feeling that made me depo 6 times, and the win never came. Sometimes we need one of those reality shots to understand the danger behind gambling. This time i lost a big amount learned the leason and walked away. But in the end, i leave with that same feeling, a big win should be close, but it doesn't worth to keep trying.

Scientifically I can't say it, but psychologically gamblers are not strange and often happen. often, our actions have been manipulated by such thoughts. after experiencing a series of defeats, especially in the same game, the thought that the game is almost close to victory will always cross. especially, if the game. also provides a sensation even though our bankroll runs out. however, because our curiosity is much greater, and our logical mind is exacerbated by a strong sense of continuing to play and is tasted by previous consecutive defeats, not a few of us do it. some are able to return the defeat and even become a victory for some people. not a few, in the end victory never comes and the money that is bet is greatly lost. btw, I don't get the essence of this thread. I mean, the message implied in it. let me assume, victory is close is just the result of one's own thoughts that cannot be ascertained. so, what action should be taken by gamblers, none other than to stop and start again when there is free time.

Totally impossible that you wouldnt really be able to mold up those kind of thoughts on the moment or time that you do deal up with gambling. You will really be having those kind of assumptions that on the time or moment that you do make out such losing streaks then you will really be thinking up that there might be some win in the next in the line on which this is really that very wrong on this kind of approach
or really that trying out to force yourself thinking off that this will happen. One of the main reasons on why people do mess up their lives just because of those false hopes. Actually they might really be thinking that
if other gamblers do able to hit up those huge wins, then why cant they? You will really be having those impressions and emotions on which it will really be the main reason for you to push through kind of situation.

Actually its not really that bad to gamble as long  you do have that kind of limitation and control then you wont really be ending up miserable, the only issue about on this stuff is that on the moment that you do become greedy and hopeful then you will really be making out that kind of desperation on which it would really be pushing you to play more or really that up high with your limit or budget you do have in gambling.
It will really be always recommended that control and discipline is really something that should really be applied into this one.

This is quite the common fallacy and sadly many people think the same way.
No, losing many times in a row, or not hitting any big wins, doesn't mean your chances increase.

Each roll, each game, each spin etc has its chances completely independent from previous results. So keep this in mind and don't chance profits. This type of thinking is leading many people to losses. In reality this strategy only works with unlimited money and martingale but really it will never work because there are limits in place and money isn't infinite.
When someone feels that he is close to the win and decide to continue gambling, he may not see his winning in the next rounds but only gets more losses. He will not realize that playing gambling needs luck to win. Losing many times in a row should makes him realize that he must stop gambling immediately because that can makes him angry and when he lose control of his emotion, he will spends more money if not all of his money. Winning in gambling is difficult so he must realize that he can only playing gambling for fun and not for money. That will gives him the fun without thinking to win from the games and he will accept whatever that will comes to him.

Perhaps you had the money somewhere in buck that you don't need. Cheesy Personally, I do have a budge I used for gambling and I make sure I also have a daily limit, once that day budgets is taken away from casino, no matter how sweet that weekend games looks convincing, I will not bet again, this might have hinder me from making money but I think it has saves me from losing money to casino many times, I just stick to my budget and that's it.

What contributed to most of losing streaks of this nature is confidence, there are weekends that games might looks easy on the eye from their feature but you wouldn't know WhatsUp until you give it a try. Like last week, I wanted to give PSG under 2 first half in their last Ligue1 game since the team they are facing will give them toughy time only to see two goals while trying to play the game, what saves me that day was my network glitch.

I think it is quite simple to say that it all depends on whether you are a gambler who knows and understands what and how gambling really is or not, as you said that everyone has different responses and actions in responding to the same situation or scenario, so maybe I would say that a gambler who has the right understanding such as knowing that when gambling is treated in an excessive manner in a win or lose situation it can potentially make you experience significant regret or emotion.
But usually people will really be able to think up these things when they are already are on a tough situation or condition and not on the time that they are still on midway on stopping it. Regrets do always come at the end and this is where people be starting out to realize that its a bad thing on having that excessive engagement towards it not only just that dealing up with gambling but also in other situations in life or conditions on which making up some excessive dealing will really be resulting into such bad effects on the moment that you cant be able to handle it out and make out some decisions whether you should really be stopping or you should really be that proceeding on what you are doing. Usually the issue on here is that on the moment that you experience shit situations is the only time that you do stop.

Yes, in most cases, gamblers will usually only be able to reach their level of awareness after they experience something significantly undesirable that makes their situation full of stress, and that is why the saying goes that the best teacher is your own experience, but of course the other problem is that not everyone can really learn from their experiences so that this can cause delays and the possibility of a slump will last for a longer period.

When dealing up with gambling then it cant really be avoided that you would really be thinking that after a serious of loss, you will be having those assumptions that the next roll or bet will really be a win and this is something that would really be that continuous and if you do lose up your cool or thinking up sensibly with this then it might really be that resulting into negative which it will really be best that you should be having that moderation when it comes into any emotions that attached in to it. People are really that highly emotional beings on which on the moment that those impressions would be stirring up your thinking then you will really be able to prioritize it instead on following on what are those things that you do have in mind, thats why self control is something crucial on  this moment.

I can also agree with the idea you said that there are always some gamblers who think that a big win will come after they experience a significant amount of loss, but of course that is a wrong idea because in gambling the next result does not depend on the results you get in the previous session. Have you ever had that feeling? after a crazy losing streak, the feeling that a win should be close is what makes us lose more.
-snip-
I don't make that mistake and I will not make it ever. Though no one taught me how dangerous gambling is when I started it, I've always known that it was a risky game when I was so young. As a smart young girl in my secondary school days, I always moved past a Pool game house with the feeling that something was off in that place. I never played a single better until I was in about my 3rd year in the university, so that restraint and maturity that kept me away from young till an adult always remind me of how cautious I must be around gambling. If you must gamble with an adventurous view you had, you should have a good budget and management plan and wager on a small amount not to ruin the party.
But this simply means that you are such a prudent and emotionally restrained person that you can so easily regulate your attitude towards gambling. This is definitely commendable. Experienced gamblers are exactly from people with similar character. However, not all people can so easily order themselves to treat gambling so rationally and sensibly. Many players simply enter a trance and simply become furious after a series of losses. In general, everything depends on the type of character of the person and his perception of the emotional impact of gambling.
Oh, thanks for these kind words and fortunately, it is easy for me to do. The first is to zero your mind from the money to be made in gambling, this is what causes most of the issues faced by gamblers. Once that is done, you will see gambling as a normal thing you can do whenever you feel like it and let go whenever you don't feel like it. It is easier for me in casino betting because I've accepted it as it is, you can't beat the system unless you are deceiving yourself, so why push it hard?
Excellent observation and I would even note that this attitude towards gambling in general, which you mentioned and which you adhere to, is also an image for other players. This is the approach of a professional in gambling, or at least a very experienced player, in my opinion. I would sincerely wish as many players as possible to come to this attitude towards the game and to the same understanding of the essence of gambling. I myself adhere to this opinion, although sometimes there are emotional outbursts, but they are not critical in any case.

if this didn't happen to you at least once, you are no true gambler. you did good by stoping.

and thats why i always like to remind myself of the following two rules!

rule number one: don't gamble if you can't afford it.
rule number two: if you do gamble and lose, don't chase your losses.

as a wise man once said, 99% of gamblers quit just before rolling it big, not by choice, but because they have lost everything along the way.

The occurrence of a series of defeats or consecutive defeats is something that I think almost everyone has experienced and also losing self-control in other words experiencing unstable emotions is the same. Actually, consecutive defeats or frequent defeats are something that is natural, especially with gambling, of course victory is determined by luck, so we can't do much to win at gambling, sometimes I sometimes feel embarrassed when I see other people emotional with the gambling they do always ends in defeat and because of that it's like seeing myself in a dark time. Besides, why do many people experience consecutive defeats or lose a lot of money? This happens because of the encouragement of the thought that we can get victory or almost get victory which makes us want to gamble again and again because we want to win, even though this kind of action is an action that is not recommended, but I'm sure most people experience something like this.

resisting the urge to continue playing while you still have enough funds that you can reallocate to continue playing will certainly be quite difficult. especially if the gambler also gets some small wins that prolong the game, it strengthens the gambler's feeling that a win with a big multiplier is indeed near.
continuing to play is indeed not a wise choice. but the situation must be difficult to refuse. the best possible ability that can be done is to continue it the next day after resting the mind that is still very excited about the game.

Even when a gambler gets small wins or big losses what influences us most is our emotions towards gambling, my point is while winnings can increase a  gambler confidence to gamble more losses too can also make a gambler to gamble more with hope that is ahead of him might be better with feeling that given up might not be the best option at the point, believe me people act differently in the same senerio cases, how we respond to various conditions is what really matters most whether we are in winning or lost it is best that we make the best decision that suits us.

The feeling most gamblers get that a big win is very close when they're on losing streak is the same feeling that leaves them with absolute regret when they've finally lost all the money they're using to stake. My advise to gamblers whenever they begin to have this feeling while losing is to resist the urge to continue gambling at that moment because experience has thought me that it's almost impossible for anyone to win with that mindset. I hope you learnt from the experience and will be intentional enough not to allow that feeling get the better of you next time

The weekend i try again, and hit x98 with a $2 bet, at least something back, but i was expecting something bigger, i didn't even recover with that shot. This time the hole was deep, lol. And so glad that i didn't martingale it because the next step would be $4, and placing $4 bets is crazy if you want to roll for the long run.

Then i get my monthly bonus, it was 0.3 ltc, and playing some wanted i get a bonus a sent it up to $40, so, another piece of recover. Time to chill and stop gambling for some weeks, lol.
The good thing now you're lucky, congratulations.

Bad luck and good luck are inevitable in gambling, so when you're suffering from lose streak, someday you're lucky and hit a big multipliers. It might not able to recover all of your losses, that's why gambling is technically make your money lose in the long run.

The feeling most gamblers get that a big win is very close when they're on losing streak is the same feeling that leaves them with absolute regret when they've finally lost all the money they're using to stake.
Expectation can kill someone, that's why we need to expect nothing or at least expect little with something that uncertain.

Lol, were you trying martingale again ? It's the only strategy that says me that a win is near.
Rest all strategies only tell me that you can lose your money in the bet as well.

No this time it was with bets of the same amount, but tons of them.
