InfluxCoin ...

Along with the other four Coins We ended up adopting, will be assimilated/integrated into the new MasterCoin We are almost ready to release.

So is it worth it? Only You can answer that.

So is BTCPop the only exchnage to trade INFX currently?

I know there is also Yobit but I don't count those scammers as a real exchange cuz they never even keep the wallets online.

Also, any updates on the project? Thanks.

Yes ...

BTCPop only. We do not support using any Exchange at the moment, but BTCPop seem to be the only ones that have INFX on board AND are reliable enough. Don't EVER touch those scammers and rip off merchants - Yobit!

Update for THIS project is as has been mentioned many times over in the past. NOTHING will happen to this project until we successfully get SSC (SWEEP) updated. Then ond only then, will we hav ethe CodeBase as a template for this coin, and the rest of the coins we have under the CWI Banner.

Just to be certain I am making myself VERY clear to all reading this, SWEEP is the CodeBase to watch. When we finish THAT CodeBase then THAT CodeBase will be used for the new INFX. The New INFX will be a new version which will be completely changed from this current version.

Hey there Chrysophalax.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond - Have you heard anything yet from Guy? I sent you an email at the one listed at the bottom of your profile ([email protected]) about 3 days ago in regards to reaching a solution. Just wanted to give you a heads up to look out for that. Thanks again for all your help so far.

Mr B

No issues at all ...

I need to change my profile details, as I rarely access that email account anymore since I no longer hide behind my pseudo even though people to this day prefer it.

I too cannot access ANY of the emails or connections that Guy had originally, as most of the contacts were Zapple related and all that is gone now. It's a real pity, but there is very little we can do, even as a collective, unless you are in London and know him personally to track down and talk to. I don't know of any other way of doing this. He NEVER caused me/us (CWI) any issues and was ALWAYS helpful in every way when we needed him, so I am quite taken back that all connection to him (that I have) have all disappeared.

I'll check the emails in a few minutes.

Contact me directly on Discord, or Skype (the best way to get me) and see if there is any way of getting hold of him to help you.

Chrysophylax,

Wow! Thank you for all that information - I truly appreciate it... I had read previous posts on this forum about how good of a person Guy is and it gave me hope that all was not lost. You have confirmed what I had been looking to hear, and I thank you for already reaching out to him on my behalf. I'll wait a little while longer to reach out to him directly until I hear if you get a response from him. I am sure he's very busy lately, as are you, and I thank you greatly for taking the time to respond and provide all the information that you have provided. Take care for now!

Mr B

It is never an issue ...

Guy may be completely inundated with life in general as is everyone thanks to the Governments Controlling and locking everything down. So a little patience goes a long way. When I needed Guy's help, it took him a week, but he did eventually get back to me with getting my coins out while Zapple Exchange was still functional. I am unsure where he is at with 'life' in general at the moment, but I would assume he is no different to anyone else in the world at the moment. Hopefully he is safe and sound as well, considering that he is in England and that is where the new B117 outbreak started.

I have yet to hear from him also, but I am sure that if he has the chance to communicate, he will.

as for leaving it to communicate to him, don;t. Contact him as soon as you have the chance to so that when he has the chance to respond, it is not left too late. Unfortunately our hands are tied with anything that Zapple concerned, unless he wishes to hand it to us under some arrangement, which I highly doubt will happen.

If you have yor details, I would supply them in the message to Guy (except the passwords and private keys if you have them of course) and explain what has happened.

I hope this works out well for you Mr B!

Chrysophylax,

That is awesome you are trying to work with Zapple... I have been a client of them for years and was sad to hear they were closing. I really had hopes they would grow. I only found out in early December that the exchange was shutting down on the 31st of Dec, and we had until the 31 of Jan to withdraw our funds. I ordered some hard wallets directly from the manufacturers earlier in the month to remove my coins from the Zapple Exchange. The wallets arrived around 2 days ago (shipped from Europe, so they took a few weeks to arrive). I planned to get in there and remove what I could by the end of the day yesterday the 28th. I knew that I had until the 31st, but was still trying to get them off the exchange before then.

Well, lo and behold zapple.com is completely gone from the internet. I was shocked and wondered why they shutdown earlier than they said they would have..... I thought I had until the 31st. Anyhow I combed through my email and found this unseen email from them sent to me on Jan 15th explaining they had to shut down earlier than expected. The letter was stating to remove everything by the 17th:

Hello,

As you are aware Zapple has shutdown normal operations.  Due to UK law change on 1st January we were unable to keep operating without licenses which were not financially viable.  We were hoping to operate in withdraw-only mode until 31st January but it has come to our attention this is also not possible.

Please request any withdrawals by 12:00 GMT of 17th January.  Zapple will be prematurely shutting down at this time.  Any withdrawals submitted after this time will not be processed.

Please note that several withdrawals are currently stalled due to our extremely limited support team and technical issues at the moment.  If you have requested a withdrawal and not received the confirmation code for it – we will process it.  If you have requested a withdrawal and its stuck pending – this will be sorted by our team.

The key message here is ensure any withdrawals are requested by 12:00 GMT on 17th January.

Regards,

Guy Powell

Now- I of course wish I had seen this when it was sent and only had a 2 day window to remove the coins... I'd have tried to figure out something... Unfortunately, I don't know what my options are now. I am wondering who holds my coins now, where they will be going, and how I can get them back. I can prove ownership of my coins, just hoping that whomever takes over will be able to return what is mine... or even if the founder of Zapple would return them to me - I know they're still sitting there in the exchange's wallet. The email address "support@zapple,com" is totally dead, so I have no point of contact for them anymore at all. Do you have any idea of what I should do or how to claim my coins?

Thank you very much in advance for any help -
Mr B

Hi MrBungle ...

I sympathize with you. It is unfortunate that Zapple had to be killed, but as Guy Powell mentioned a while back, there are certain things in the regulatory process that needs to be adhered to, and Zapple the Company, let alone the Exchange, were the things that had to be terminated. In the process, negotiations proceeded though not with just us.

I would have to say that direct contact with Guy is the best (and only) option now. He is available on Discord and on here in BitCoinTalk as well. I have made contact with him also today to see if there can be any resolve to any outstanding issues, and I will keep you up to date when he responds.

Guy always dealt with ANYONE with respect and honesty and I am convinced he is NOT someone that will 'take off' with funds, as is the case in many vectors of Crypto/Exchanges. If contact can be made, I would suggest you make it direct with him in any way shape or form. In our (my) dealings with Guy, he has always been transparent, upfront and concise about what he speaks, and has never held back on help. Neither him nor his 'team'.

Negotiations on our end were always about keeping Zapple Exchange going, not the company. We always wanted an internal exchange that was quick, solid and we could build on. We have never been interested in the 'Money/Cash' side of it, in fact, still no tinterested in it. Just the operation and continuance of the Exchnage itself. We have the InfraStructure and Developmental capacity to keep it going. Guy and I have discussed at length regarding this. Even though Guy has mentioned many times over in our conversations about the two main concerns he has for the Exchange/Company, which were Legals and Support moreover the continuation of the development of the software, there was always one sticking point. Money!

Guy has always mentioned that Money was not the issue, yet a price was ALWAYS put on the Exchange. We cannot put forward the type of Money that was asked for the purchase of the Exchange code. That sort of money asked meant we would not be able to reinvest the cashflow into any other part of our Company. Other options were discussed and are, as far as I am aware, still available for licensing of the code and WhiteLabelling to rebrand for monthly costs. Again, we will not go down that avenue because of how flaky that can become, as we want a solid codebase to work from and build. So even though 'Money' is supposedly never an issue, a price was always put on the CodeBase for Zapple Exchange. Understandable from Guy's point of view for all the work Guy and his team put in to build it, but not a viable path for CWI to take on if it meant our Company was at risk financially. hence the reason Guy has been negotiating with other interested parties who may have th efunds, or inclination to pay.

I am STILL happy to take on the CodeBase and rebuild with our Developers, and take on any legals involved, but the cost needs to be viable. Maybe Guy and I can come to some arrangement for payments made every quarter or something if an agreed price is negotiated, but so far nothing has eventuated.

This current situation results in three things.

1 - Guy has the last say in what happens with Zapple, not us, as he still owns the CodeBase AND the Wallets.
2 - Guy needs to be contacted direct which would be possible if and when he can answer eMails/DM/PM or IM messages, as he is the only one left in the 'team' from what I understand, though I could be wrong.
3 - A deal needs to be struck with Guy and I (CWI) for the possibility of a resurrection of the Exchange and Wallets. So far, nothing has changed.

I will reiterate though, Guy has ALWAYS been on the Straight and Narrow with us, and has ALWAYS put his best foot forward. The regulators and Laws as well as the COVID19 Headaches that have been with us this last year (and will be for the foreseeable future) meant that when Guy said 'Zapple is going nowhere', he meant . There were issues, there still are, and will continue to be.

Your coins are in the Zapple Wallets, and therefore we can only do what you do. Ask for them. I am certain Guy will be helpful in that regard.

Let me know what happens - either here or Discord, or even Skype.

We know ...

That's good to know that the negotiaton process to acquire zapple is going. I hope it works out.

But in the meantime why not have a backup exchange(s)? Especially if you can get listed there for free.

Normally Altilly charges $1500 for listing a project, but now they are doing that for free for a limited time.

Not taking advantage of this rare opportunity would be a big mistake imho.

Agreed ...

Unfortunately it is not just INFX that we need listed. We need all the coins listed so that when the new BaseCode for the coins are implemented, a swap can be made easily to the new version of the coin, so that we can swap out to the MasterCoin (coinX) when we finish developing it.

That requires an Exchange willing to work with us (like Zapple have and still are), and not just charge 'an arm and a leg' every time we need to get to the next level. I will message them and ask. Let's see what they say.

Hopefully we will get an exchange that will work with us as well.

Zapple is closing its doors (no surprise here Tongue)

I suggest the devs apply for some other exchange.

Altilly is running a free listing promo now until Dec 31. Gotta use this opportunity! https://www.altilly.com/page/addasset

Also I heard that erex.io lists projects for free.

We know ...

We have been looking at not only other Exchanges, but also trying to negotiate with the owner of Zapple, to either Salvage the Exchange or adopt/purchase/use the Zapple code for our own Exchange.

Negotiations are continuing, but the sticking point (as with any other project) is the funding. A LOT of money is involved with the purchase of the Code, as well as the running of the systems and servers involved, which also include the further development of the Exchange Code. If there is a possibility CWI can not only access this proprietary code, but also own it, to allow for the future development, then we will be able to maintain and grow the exchange.

Until then, we cannot just 'pay up' what is being asked for the Exchange, and are looking at ways of keeping the Zapple exchange afloat until we CAN find a an agreement to ultimately take ownership of the code for Zapple Exchange.

The owner of Zapple has been honest, forthright and very transparent about what he would want in return for ownership as we have. We are still interested in keeping Zapple running as he is.

Other exchanges for all our coins, not just INFX, sought and as such, other exchanges are reluctant to take on all at once. We need this to happen when we rebuild the BaseCode for INFX and all the other coins in preparation for the integration into our MasterCoin (we call CoinX for the time being).

For the time being, remove all your coins from Zapple, and place them in a local wallet that you have access to.

Let's see how we fare until then.

A ChainWorks Industries (CWI) Project - Influx

https://i.imgur.com/cWX7aYb.jpg

What Influx Is

Influx is a X11 algorithm based coin with no premine, using a PoW+PoS Hybrid backend (Proof Of Work/Proof Of Stake). Mining with CPU/GPU, as well as X11 ASIC, is supported and encouraged. Acquired and part of the CWI-EcoSystem means that Influx has unprecedented access to an infrastructure unlike any other in the Crypto Industry. It also means the Influx Project has access to theTEAM - theGRID - theFARM and most of the other faculties (or 'CWI-Modules') that have been developed and are being developed within the CWI-EcoSystem. There are no external or third parties involved in the running or development of our backend Infrastructure or Systems, making ChainWorks Industries (CWI) a self sufficient, and self proficient company to support this amazing project, and it's sister projects.

Our aim, as we grow and develop, is to utilize ChainWorks Industries (CWI) as being the backbone for the support and integration of the services being developed for use across the blockchain industry, with Influx being one of the Core Projects brought to market.

Currency Specifications

Coin Type: PoW/PoS Hybrid
Hashing Algorithm: X11
Time Between Blocks: 4 Minutes (240 Seconds)

Current Block Reward: 6.25INFX
Next Block Halving: Block 240,000

We are on Zapple at the moment ...

If people signed up and started trading there, we could rebuild the market that we had with all our coins, let alone just InfluxCoin.

We are working on  the Master Coin now (CoinX) to integrate INFX into, so when we finish, the INFX Market is going to be the CoinX market.

We will have a look at the exchange anyway, but I don't know how much effort is required to 'do' anything there, and how reliable it may be.

Right now though, we are already on Zapple, and we can all make this Exchange and it's market a good trade system if we get on board. It is a very good, fast platform to work on also.
