Though I feel bad seeing her cry and for what she has lost, I blame her for what has happened. She shouldn't have gambled if she knew that the money she was putting at stake was not to be lost and in case she loses it, she will have to face extreme consequences for it. I'm pretty sure that the money she lost was meant to be used for something else because someone who lost money that wasn't for another purpose wouldn't feel this much regret that they would start crying for it.
Most of this ladies crying online for losing their bets are influence to gamble by what they're seeing online. My Twitter timeline is always flooded with gambling posts from media influencers flaunting their tickets and winnings as well. Going through the comments section, you'll see how ladies are reacting and saying they will give it a try some day not knowing how harmful it can be. If you come across such posts even as a regular gambler, you'll be trigger to bet. Those who are not into gambling regularly are seeing it as avenue to double money. Recently, a TV show tittle BBN that came to an end, awarded the winner with millions of naira and people were advising the winner (a lady) to play 2 odds with the money to double it not knowing that she might lose all the money if she attempts it.
I also wonder why she made that video and posted it publicly, maybe to get some sympathy or to find someone who might feel extremely bad for her and pay her back for what she has lost, I don't know, but it wasn't necessary. However, it's a lesson for those who watch her, that one shouldn't gamble if one can't afford to do it and gambling is not to earn you money.
Although some of this stories are not genuine but for seeking for social media attention so that they can trend. Someone that really lost money will not have the strength to cry, record herself and post it on internet. Regardless of whether the story is true or not, I don't support helping such people so that they'll learn the lesson and others will not imitate them to gamble recklessly. If you need money, work and not gamble.
