i was a bag holder.... theres no point trying to keep some shit coin going... cut your losses and make your money back

if not then good luck with everything and i hope for all your sakes this coin can recover

PEACE
I wouldn't say that AsiaCoin can climb up to above 2,000 sats at the moment. However, given the high staking interest, AC is doing fairly well holding its value.

We are in need of funds to pay the bounty for the multipool. It will feature 4 ports, Scrypt, Scrypt-N, X11 and X13.

BTC Donations: 1FjfP4pRgsjYPQUX5Uep9HMfFw6stsE9G3
AsiaCoin Donations: AXuMxpakwcxcnPtzkL6GNmp54PRc7Zxb2g

Isn't much work to maintain a multipool?  Wouldn't it be better if perhaps someone like Coinking could offer payout as AC?

The call for donations is actually for CoinKing to support us. Wink

What about a kickstarter campaign or something like that?

We still dont have our true first wallet, only patches from old dev; still too soon to say Asia Coin is dead, it seems really live for me.

I trust and support Asia Coin.

The coin will be dead only when there will be nobody running a full node.
And even then , all it takes it's somebody to start their client again.

So basically , you can't really kill a coin.
Of course , with a price of 1 satoshi ... I doubt that anyone will still run a coin.

Sometimes patience is all that is required , so far , many steps and troubles have been overcome ;
the new asiacoin team has proven to its community that they are serious about proceeding well .

Among other coins , I bought some serious amounts of AsiaCoin today , maybe from you : Thanks  Cool

I agree. Give the devs some time to realise their goals. Rome wasn't built in one day, AC does not have the intention to be a pump 'n dump coin (or at least not since it was revived..)

What the helll!!! My wallet suddenly stopped syncing. Then i upgraded to new wallet. It didn't do anything, then i tried to delete everything in %AppData%\Asiacoin EXCEPT wallet.dat

After that, my wallet synced and all my AC were GONE?Huh?? I have no idea what is going on...

This is disaster. I should sell all my AC when it was brought back to life instead of being bag holder...

UPDATE: OK! I used "repairwallet" and my balance had showed up
In the mean—while … ,
Shocked It happened to many of us , the magic repairwallet command restores the peace and transactions ,
somehow , when the coins mature to stake , they can get stuck if the stakes are rejected by the blockchain .
I had absolutely no trouble since the latest update , bought more Asiacoin Chunks up and staked successfully ;
transactions from exchanges to my wallet were executed amazingly fast , I can't say anything negative : Top !

»…« = Let's get more people and merchants aboard ! How about auctioning … services , goods , and art ?

thanks ORiN, when i updated to the newest wallet i had had trouble with the block chain not updating and had deleted a few files to get the block chain going again and had to do a repair on the wallet to get it back in sync and lost all of my previous transaction history on the wallet so all i had seen since was the 4 failed stake payments and didn't realise i was jumping the gun on the stake payments
No worries. My wallet is humming along 24/7. It takes a while for the new wallet to catch up with the blockchain as there are conflicting wallets who are not updated yet. However, we usually release the wallets to the exchanges and block explorers first so things are relatively safe.

I have a bunch of unconfirmed stake payments and after the forth unconfirmed payment the payments stopped on the 16th. Now i have gone through and updated the wallet to 2.0.0.0 (called 2.0.1.0)
block chain is up to date and has been running in this state for over a week

Any ideas anyone ?

If the coin isn't goin to stake then i am not going to keep it
Your last stake was on 16th Jun? Then your coins will only stake again after 14 days which is 30th Jun. Of course, there is a matter of luck as to whether your coins will stake on 30th Jun or delay a couple of days. Even if there is a delay, you will not lose out of any stake interest. As for unconfirmed staking, those are usually associated with the wallets did not update their wallets or the old scam wallet from the original developer. Stick to the wallets listed on our OP and we will be fine.

I had 4 stakes that remained unconfirmed and rejected by the chain . You should be fine just using the repairwallet command in the console .  This will purge your stuck stakes and you will get new stakes swiftly probably higher than the previous ones , this has been my case with all stuck stakes . Don't move your coins around to keep them ready for staking . Since the update to the latest wallet and applying the repair command I had no trouble nor reason to complain , staking happened in good amount & in time .

i did the repair wallet command a week ago as well as yesterday trying to get it kick started, i haven't moved the coins since they were first deposited to the wallet after the stake announcement, guess i will trying it again and hope it works

btw thanks for responding

Online since '89...

The current logo rocks!  Blew me away when AC was resurrected and was the first sign AC was going to survive.  So yeah, it has some sentimental value for me as well.
