I will wait out your investigation. Then I will have someone with a lot of green trust paint you in deep red. For libel.
You aren't getting out of this unscathed  Wink

That could be mighty risky for said account.
It would be trust abuse at its finest. There is nothing to be afraid of Wendigo, unless you actually have something to hide.

The fact that you're threatening Timelord publicly with red trust, doesn't score you any points though.

Hi @rizzlarolla,

I have a strong feeling that these three UID's:

19 November 2013, 02:47:49 Date Registered: Anixs     u=163265 http://archive.is/QVXgN

19 November 2013, 05:43:15 Date Registered: Wendigo u=163375 http://archive.is/Ds15V

19 November 2013, 19:37:12 Date Registered: WhiteyZ u=163888 http://archive.is/Ql4eY

Are either Alts, or, at the very least are Farmed Accounts TM in either case I was wondering if:

Using these three as templates, can you trawl through their post history and compare their posting patterns (ie once per fortnight, same day ie Monday, that sort of thing) and then if their patterns are similar over a period of time, then using that pattern to sweep for other UIDs that are also farmed?

It slipped my mind till just now, if possible, we need to identify the farmers behind some of these high intensity farms.

Case in point:

Operatr: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/operatr-92499

Claims to have purchased "relinquished" a multitude of UIDs that had previously been caught red-handed scamming - well after they had received Red Paint TM A while later, I noticed that the UIDs in question still had their negative trust dished out to others.  The trust is right up to the date Operatr has put the message below, while some have been used *after* their message to pain the wall red ie - trust abuse.   When I contacted Operatr I got a terse "They will stay as is" type of response followed by Neutral trust on my wall.

Operatr left this on numerous UIDs:

This UID has been bought and sold a number of times, you should do due diligence if considering trading as it may not be with the same person you previously did business with.

Operatr has now added Red Pain TM to my trust wall (oh woe is me!) and a quick recap of their various Alts shows PHS u=764988 and leancuisine u=143455 giving each other Positive trust (again, trust abuse).

It looks like rizzlarolla's work is now making the campaign managers aware that the majority of the sig campaigners they have been paying are mostly from account farming. I have already seen some of the signature campaigns being relaunched offering higher pay but with an emphasis on post quality. Spammers are included in a blacklist by the manager to discourage them from joining.

I request you to take a look at the spreadsheet of those twitter and facebook bounties from where I got these. you'll surely see some more interesting things. I would submit all but lack of free time. these shit accounts and their spammy PMs already took me 4 hours to collect and tick their screen shots.

Show us your proof, as so far I am not a fool.

ok, as  jamalaezaz has not bothered to come to the farmer thread to enquire about farmed accounts i shall post here.
hope you dopn't mind this once!

i have snipped  jamalaezaz's list down to accounts created on September 12 2016 to simplify my explanation/evidence.
(oh, i have included 1 account created Sept 10, to show connection between days registered!)

i find it usefull to include account names, often gives a further clue. Also easier to familiarise.
total post count included in ( )
(i have put 11 and 10 in u=order)

Already we can see familiar names, even 2 days apart. Badboy[ BTC] and [ BTC]Girl.
Also seems partial to "4", Myra4, Vovka4, Grin4, even Do4a.
Look at the post histoty,

Not much to connect as history's are short. some only 5 or 6 posts, but there is a pattern there.
Lets look in more detail. they all post at least twice on sep 13, some more than twice.
Lets see how random they made these posts.

Not random at all. Posting rota for 13th sept started at bottom of list and worked up, even running through accounts created different days.
28 minutes to do the morning post rota, 9.21 - 9.49, quick cup of tea (or actually post  other accounts from 10 sep - edit, now added, leaving only 5 min for tea) then 32 minutes to post all again!
Is that conclusive enough? (answer is yes!)

(i have put a gap in [ BTC]Girl/boy names to stop it displaying as BTCgirl/boy!)

vvv ok, np.
could you add link to that spreadsheet for ref/ease. i am about to add a couple more of your list, (the posts i said he made during tea break!)

It's allowed as soon as you respect the rules and do not abuse of it. For example, I've got my secondary account both as a backup option in case I'm out somewhere and I have to use a public computer, and as a second earning account. I thought of creating a third account too, but that's starting to be called an abuse which I don't want it to be.

How does this sound?

Quote
Originally a farmed account. Farmed means one user creates a lot of accounts and spams the forum to level up.  As such, this account (UID) *may*have* been bought and sold a number of times.  You should do due diligence if considering trading as it may not be with the same person you previously did business with.

(Optionally)This trust is permanent and will not be removed.

Additionally, if there's no scam accusation, trust is Neutral.  If there is a scam accusation, or the account is already in the red, then the above trust gets Red Paint TM coating.
Sounds good to me, and I've added a line to explain why a farmed account is a bad account in the first place.

I suppose that can be added, now where do we start?  Who gets a liberal dose of paint?

Sorry I have been slow to respond here.
(i am not well versed in the trust system)

Can i suggest waiting/discuss a few more days/a week to see if the "banned" tag is implemented.
Also can we get staff/DT involved, or at least confirm that they do not want to be involved.

I've banned a few thus far (couple hundred total).

Bearing that in mind, is there any point spending time on those, if there really are hundreds of them?
(i am struggling to find evidence of that)

My thoughts on this,

All farmed accounts should be rated the same. If an account has other accusations against it, that should be a separate trust issue.
Trust for "farmed" should never need changing, other trust may.
A standard rating (copy paste) should be used, for ease of application and even handedness and to de-personalise.
A systemic approach must be taken, ie, start at the beginning of the 500+ list, or a month at a time, or "alphabet" lists...
An ad hoc or variable rating approach will be more personal.

Is neutral "red"? (idk) If not, i think it maybe a bit lame, will not show and be ignored?
I would think the minimum red would be the correct trust. (is that -1?)

(1) Originally a farmed account. (2) Farmed means one user creates a lot of accounts and spams the forum to level up.  As such, this account (UID) *may*have* been bought and sold a number of times.  You should do due diligence if considering trading as it may not be with the same person you previously did business with.

1. Once farmed, always farmed.
2. a bit specific, slightly wrong. I told hilarious that was not the case, see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16650103

If you add "reasons" they will be individually argued against. (you must have seen how "spam" is not even definable - see Daisy14 thread!)
Maybe just keep it simple. "-1. This account is farmed - ref - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/rizzs-500-1670807 "

There are hundreds more accounts to be added to the 500+ list - Russian and Chinese farmed accounts mostly.
(as we are now seeing the first effects of in "know alts" thread and "Wings spammers" thread)
Your accounts will be negged to hell in retaliation? Hence "can we get staff/DT involved, or at least confirm that they do not want to be involved."

Just spotted that in a thread I was responding in so I decided to throw it in here for a quick reference.
It seems to me this is a failed quote from someone who doesn't speak English. The rest of the post history though points at the typical Indonesian spammer and account farmer.
