So what about this alleged new owner?
Did he appear somewhere?
what about the alleged seller?
I guess the auction and the selling were pure invention or what?

Just an update for the followers of the thread, people who were curious wether this was a scam.
So three people were paid out. Not in the order that they posted in the grindabit thread, but whatever.

TX ID: 47b928444976b2ffb76d608e7510f782c2a319020bae7fa6662f785b740a168d

TX ID: 6ff860e2d857f3680f4bf182fe225d57dbd7dc2b66de87116b91cf8a04c0a2d0
Then the last post on grindabit forum was

Since we have officially sold the site and transferred all account ownership to the new owner, all withdraws are the new owners responsibility, however I can squeeze one more in.
TX ID: 193bd8de217638907935a98f601aaba068240a5212bdbbcf44458c9705320883

There were others that posted, but it seems it's the new owners responsibility. If the new owner doesn't just wipe the slate clean and everyone has zero balances. Either way this still feels off, but nothing can be done.

That's all I got, seems like that's the only update being put forth by anyone.

I'll believe it when I see it. Until then my scam accusation stays posted.

Ok, so I will take that as a confirmation of your BTC address. Here is the transaction for your withdraw, just sent: https://blockchain.info/tx/6ff860e2d857f3680f4bf182fe225d57dbd7dc2b66de87116b91cf8a04c0a2d0

If you were scammed by this site post your info in the scam accusation thread. May not get withdraws back, but it will label the guilty as scammers on this forum.

I also encourage anyone in this thread who got scammed to leave negative feedback on the accounts of those involved with bitspoker. This will be a great help.

Again just throwing it out there, but word is spreading about this issue. Maybe it would be better to move this thread to scam accusations on this forum? Not sure.

Cyrus mentioned on Skype months ago they needed a small investment (few bitcoins) for some technical work that needed to finish up on the site. It had something to do with the blockchain and coding from the software to the direct website itself. Although we did not loan them the coin as we felt it was to risky of investment I'm not sold Cyrus himself is a scammer. (I didn't read the entire 20 pages of comments). When Trade Fortress starting acting shady and I brought it to his attention he was certain that Fortress was legitimate. The reason I brought it up is because Trade Fortress used to pat his back on a regular basis to us via skype. Are they one in the same? I don't think so.. Weeks later we all know what happened to Trade Fortress. Bits Poker never held a rating over C+ because financial security was a huge concern although we highly considered raising that rating and becoming investors for some time.  I hope this all works out and a legitimate buyer is found and best of luck to Cyrus and his partner.

Cyrus, I have more people adding me to talk about the site constantly. However, I'm awaiting to hear any sort of update from you regarding the buyer you found. Please sign on and give me an update so we can expedite this process as much as we can. This is all annoying the fuck out of me. I also have some updates.

Why would anyone pay you more than 500.00 in btc for this site?

All it is is Poker Mavens software, that you bought from here:  http://www.briggsoft.com/pmavens.htm

It's the Gold version, where you can change the table graphics and such.  The software is terrible.  Same thing that the seals with clubs website uses.  Horrible.

If you want a site and are bidding on this, why?  For cheaper, you can make your own, and also have a site that isn't skewed in this scam.

nioc, please contact me and I'll refund you tomorrow. And sorry that it took so long to get to your post. However this will be the last refund I will do personally, from my own pocket.

And of course, +1 to 8fold!

That's cool, I just don't understand why if you have a 50/50 agreement with deadgiveaway:

- You would not get a 50% cut on the site hypotetical sale
- You would not be responsible for 50% of its debts

Good post 8fold. I think maybe what we're learning here is some people are shady. Americans can be shady, sometimes moreso than anyone else on the planet.
In truth I kind of wish this thread would have been started in a more appropriate area, but it ended up here because of the original thread it was posted in as a warning to people who might invest money with anyone connected to Bitspoker.

There seems to be a pattern here of looking to blame someone else. Now you are back to pointing a finger at Cyrus. I personally don't believe there is any "big bitcoin player" interested in this site. It's a train wreck, and it's reputation gets worse by the day.
Dead just to set your mind at ease I worked in a casino where I live, that should answer your question on legality. As far as public exposure I haven't divulged any personal information. I have however collected quite a bit through legal means. Anonymity is an illusion, and there are people much more vindictive than me who seem to not like what has been done here. The bispokerscam.com site implicates both of you as a part of this whole mess.
Once again nobody knows the truth but you and Cyrus, so it will be difficult for you to get anyone to believe anything you say here.
I think we are now at the part where you go on a name calling tirade, and say nothing to better the situation aaaaand go.....

Way to provide a horrible post following a brilliant one. Which crystal ball are you looking at which tells you we are not attracting serious buyers? I don't understand what sick underlying agenda you have. Based on the obsession seen by the players, could it be you just envy whoever has some sort of ties in BitsPoker? Like does it amuse you? The sale is going to happen and you're going to get your withdraw proceeding that. I don't know if you're suffering from a mental illness, if so I hope you get well soon. Whether you're suffering from mental illness or not, don't expect this to happen with the snap of a finger, but also don't blatantly go into a psychotic state because it hasn't happened instantly. You have no reason to either trust nor distrust me, because you really don't know me and I think you spit on the poster before you by saying "great post" and then judging someone as dis-trustworthy when you don't know me.

nioc, please contact me and I'll refund you tomorrow. And sorry that it took so long to get to your post. However this will be the last refund I will do personally, from my own pocket.

again. very cool. Cool

and actions like this is why people have been giving Cyrus less of a hard time then dead, regardless of the situation.

I just wanted to highlight this in attempt to un-distort any confusion DeadGiveAway seems to be having in relationship to the situation.  Wink

Yeah that seems fair, give the guy who spent all his money a harder time than the one who clearly has BTC to cover. The logic you have is regardless of what I do I should be damned. You've also spewed many stances that contradict each other and could be evaluated as the writings of a confused person to a severity that would require immediate professional treatment. Look into it before it's too late.

Here is what I have learned: Romanians are shady. Stay away!

Dear deadgiveaway,

First of all, I am sorry to hear this is the only thing you have learned and nothing from your actions. Life tends to put us in situations where we get to repeat mistakes until we learn from them. We all make mistakes, but some of us learn faster.

Second, please be aware that most people reading this local board, myself included, are Romanians.

I would like you to realize that such a strong statement as yours may hurt a lot of people who actually care about living in a fair world, about living among people that treat each other based on personal traits and personal actions, and not based on the faults of their nation, their ethnicity, their gender, their religious beliefs, their political views, and so on...

Unfortunately, statements such as yours are fairly common, regardless of who is the "prosecutor" and whom it "prosecutes" ... and such statements have been the root of a great deal of suffering throughout the history of mankind, to this day. You provide just one of the examples, sadly.

I am writing this not only for you, but for every one who reads these words. I kindly ask you not to fall victims to prejudices such as these and not jump to conclusions or take anyone's word for granted (not even mine) before judging for yourself. By acting this way, we would do ourselves and the world a great favor indeed.

Unless we start to look at each other individually and without prejudice, unless we manage to make the effort and try to look beyond what is superficial, we, as global neighbours, will continue to lie in this dormant state of consciousness and suffering will go on ... And we will all suffer: the ones who are prosecuted, and the prosecutors as well. Because everything comes back around.

I wish you all the best!

Thank you so much for this post.  Even more appropriate that it is Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
