So the maximum rate at which the activity increases is 1/day right? I don't understand this part though " but your activity score only updates every two weeks".

I don't really get this if I'm honest. You say "but your activity score only updates every two weeks". But I see a lot of accounts which gain activity everyday. Could you explain that please?

These users have a potential activity more than their actual posts that's why their activity increases with each posts.
Most of these users have bought a farmed account in order to get enrolled in a signature campaign or to sell it later...

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this:
GroupRequirement
Brand New0 posts
Newbie(none)
Jr. Memberactivity: 30
Memberactivity: 60
Full Memberactivity: 120
Sr. Memberactivity: 240
Hero Memberactivity: 480
Legendaryoccurs randomly between 775 and 1030 activity

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

1 post per day? or it does not depend?

To obtain the 14 potential activity for each period you need to make at least one post in that period.
The problem is when this post get deleted you will loose the 14 potential activity. So to grant your potential activity just make several posts in different topics/sections which returns to be ~1 post per day

Hello! Can someone tell can I, for example, change the name?
You have exactly one activity point at the moment... Changing the name costs, as far as I know, BTC, and is only done at the discretion of the forum Admins. So in your case, with just one activity point so far, why not simply register a new account with the name you desire?

it will increase again by 14 each 2 weeks.

Those 2 weeks are based on my creation account date or it is an stablished day for everyone?

So in a nutshell, if every 14 days I login and do 14 posts, on the 15th day (or 1st day) I'll see my increase of +14?
Or I have to be constant on a daily post?

Just curious about how the algorithm works Smiley

I will try to be simple :
User X just created his account today so he will have automatically 14 potential activity. This user will have +1 activity for each post until he reaches 14 activity then the number of posts will increase but the activity will stuck on 14.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2017, a new period will start and you will gain again 14 potential activities. So there is 2 possibilities
The 1st: you start with 14 posts/activity, so again for every post you make you will gain +1 activity until 28.
The 2nd, you start with 14 activities and 25 posts for example, so once you make a post you will see that your activity will jump directly to 26 then if you make more posts your activity will increase until 28.

Then after 14 days so September 26, 2017, again a new period will start and once you make as little as 1 post, you will have automatically 14 potential activity again. If you do not made a post you cannot have any potential activity then you will miss that period.

You couldnt have explained it better Smiley
Thank you, now everything makes sense.

Thank you
I just forget to mention the link where you can find the starting date of each period

I dont get this:
"but your activity score only updates every two weeks."
and later:
"Activity is updated every hour."
So is it every two weeks or every hour?
The score its self calculates every two weeks, the score you see updates every hour. This means that on an activity period your activity will update, but it may take up to an hour to see it updated on the forum.

Thanks!
How much is my activity now? I see 57.

How do I know if my activity was updated to the public?

It is 57. If you have potential activity of 70, your activity will increase to 70, if you have more it will increase then stop at that level then it will increase again by 14 each 2 weeks.
The update in the activity can be seen by you and other members at the same time few minutes after each post up to 1 hour.

I don't understand either. What is "time"?
The number of two week activity periods that have passed since you joined. Keep in mind that these periods are fixed, and don't depend on when you made your account. You can see all activity periods for a long while here.

Ok, now I understand how works this function. Thanks!
