hello thank you for this perfect membergoup but can i know what the different between activity and posts because with the time activity and posts become the same so why and what is the object from activity
You have potential activity, so every post you make will immediately* update to your activity. Once you use up all of your potential activity, you can only get 14 more every two weeks.*Not completely instantly, but within a few minutes.

All I want is the ability to post an Image for my thread, it's taking a ridiculously long and I have over 90 posts. IMHO this system is flawed.
Just continue posting quality and constructive post. You need to reach the rank that is able to have that feauter. And ranking up doesn't rely on tge number of post but the number of activity you got.

The system works great. You can accumulate 14 activity in a 2 week period. One per day. This prevents alt-account creators from making hero accounts in a week or two and also keeps the spam down. As for the image posting it works well and the limit is in place because of spam as well.

It was put in place to stop Newbies from spamming the boards with pornography and other such content. While it isn't the best, it works for what it was put in place to do.Continue to be active on the forum and once you reach the activity requirement your embedded images will automatically show.

I finally made Hero Member although there are so many Legendary Members around now that even a Hero account seems pretty lowly 
Yes, heroes aren't what they used to be.
Don't worry, in another 2 years you'll make legendary - just in time for that to be totally out of style.

haha exactly after a few years while the status will change again and legendary will just mean kind of an old and active member.
It could be written a number next to your username, 1 for the most active/senior member then 2, 3 ect.

Then I found this awesome thread. If you need to search from a longtime buried post from this forum. I suggest not to use the default search box from this forum. Instead use Google it is fast and doesnt limit you from repetitive searching.

Kind of odd to say that people Under 10 activity aren't really members yet but whatever, I guess its jsut semantics

activity = min(time * 14, posts)

i don't quite understand what time is in terms of 2 week periods. Just to clarify, if i joined on jan 1 and it is feb 1 today, does that mean time=2?
