my activity didn't increase from many days..

Activity will increases when you reached the 14 points.
When you post a post in a Day 1 points will increases, I think you are not a daily poster. You post one day and then dont post for two or more Days. This would be the only reason that your activity is not raising.

I started posting Daily, so will that make my activity rise..
AS only a few days ago (Maybe a Week or so) i started actively participating the forum.

You're not going to get any more activity points until the 17th now. You need to make sure you post at least once in every two week period. If you don't you'll lose those points forever.

No, you don't want to make 1 post per day. You just need to make 14 posts per 14 days, i.e., if you 14 posts in 1 day, you will get all 14 points.

As for MAsterV, are you sure? I think you missed a few weeks as you didn't post any.

You will need to post in the next period starting on the 17th to get those points. If you don't you will lose them forever. You need to make sure to make at least one post in every period to be able to collect the full 14 points whether immediately or at a later date.

It's the same for all users though your points depend on how many two week periods you've posted in since your sign up. You can get a max of 14 points for every two week activity period. Last one started on the 3rd and the next one will be two weeks after that on the 17th and you can then get another 14 points.

Okay so it is same for everyone, next activity jump is on 17th mar for all Members, who are active in this 14 days period ?
Thank you

I didn't know how this was working exactly, but this is a good explanation.
Now i understand why i have become heromember this week.

Yes you become Hero after 480 activity , you got 490 on 3rd , congrats
I still got a Year and more to reach that Smiley

Can anyone explain me how activity is updated .
As i know , the activity jump happens on a fixed date according to this Thread

But i recently heard from someone that it is different for all users and depends on your date of joining and being active.
Can someone explain this to me .

I'm confused with the legendary group but can't find any information about this, I will become a legendary if I got 925 Activities?
The exact activity level that each person becomes legendary is random and is somewhere between 775 activity and 1030. I am not entirely sure where you got the 925 number, but I can say with a good amount of certainty that 925 is not the exact amount needed for you to become legendary considering that you have more then 925 posts (so at this point your activity will not equal number of posts), and you will go from having 924 activity to having 938 activity when the time comes

Is it like, that for the newcomers it will take ~120 days which equates to 4 months in order to become a full member?
As I think the activity is noted as days here...

Your activity can increase by up to 14 "points" per 14 days, thus it is somewhat comparable to days, unless you took a break etc.

And I need 960 Activity for a legendary, right?

Depends, it is a random number between 740 and 1000 off the top of my head. Not exact numbers.
It isn't exactly random. There is a formula to calculate how much activity each user needs to become legendary. It is based on their UID#

Really? I thought it was random to have you got a link which can confirm this?

The forum calculates a SHA-1 hash using the user ID number and an additional un-announced "salt" value. It adds the value of the first byte of that hash to 775 to determine what activity level earns you "Legendary".

If you know what the un-announced "salt" value is, then you can compute exactly when you will become legendary.  Since the output of SHA-1 is unpredictable when you don't know the exact input, the result is essentially random to anyone that doesn't know the un-announced "salt" value.

Danny, you actually have one of the highest activity numbers that I have seen recently that hasn't changed to legendary...

I don't see why we couldn't be told this value, or simply work it out if we have a few different member's threshold activities?

That would be no fun. Then you might be able to just calculate the exact time you hit legendary, and if every account is known, then the "value" of them might be different. At this point, there will be drama over fairness. This forum has enough drama.
