And I need 960 Activity for a legendary, right?

Depends, it is a random number between 740 and 1000 off the top of my head. Not exact numbers.
It isn't exactly random. There is a formula to calculate how much activity each user needs to become legendary. It is based on their UID#

Really? I thought it was random to have you got a link which can confirm this?

Simply put: you can get a max of 14 points every two week period. Next one starts on second of December.

wait can someone help me figure out how to interpret this algorithm...

I am sorry but it could have been made a little more clear lol I do not understand what a comma means in the parentheses or what min stands for

You do only need to post once. It takes up to an hour to update so have you waited for that?

That's not true.  I have another new account and for a few months I have posted just once every 2 weeks and I only received 1 activity point instead of the 14 points everyone is saying you should receive.

So you have to post 14 posts to get the maximum 14 activity points.

Nope. He doesn't seeing as he has far more posts than activity so he only needs the one post. You will need to make the rest of the posts up to get the full activity though.

Correct.  I have posted once every 2 weeks for months and my activity is only 10.

I wish at least staff members would know the rules.

As long as you post once in the period, you will have your "time" increased.

For iXcoin Foundation, you didn't get 14 activity points every 2 weeks because your current activity is limited by your post count rather than your "time".

For Vlad2Vlad, since your current activity is limited by your "time" rather than your post count, making just 1 post every 2 weeks will give you 14 activity points every time.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

I missed my activity points this week it looks like  Huh   I think I made like only 10 posts or so, but I thought that it only required you to post at least once within the 2 week period...

What's the point in being a VIP?

What benefits does it give you etc?

On top of the benefits you get as a donor (donating 10 btc), being a VIP will allow you to have the ability to change your account displayed name, create a custom title, and get a half purple coin under your name (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/forum-rankspositionsbadges-what-do-those-shiny-coins-under-my-name-mean-178608)

That's me sold then
