There is no need to set up a commitee to probe why Nigeria lost that match. We lost because of the management, we lost because of the Nigerian players. There was no passion or enthusiasm in the Nigerian players. It felt like our players didn't know what was at stake..If I was a coach I would throw in everything I can to win. Even when we were losing, there was no sense of urgency from the players and the coach.
Of course it is a disappointment for Nigeria, but they should also not forget that Ghana is an opponent which is almost on the same level. It was clear from the beginning that this is gonna be a close fight between the two. Of course the losing team always could have given a bit more passion, but ultimately to be blamed is the way Africa decides which teams are sent to the World Cup.

I think it was more about the game sense and the way of attack rather than the quantity of attack. They had the possession  and they also tried to shoot the ball from awkward angles which obviously did not worked out pretty well for them.

I think they had enough chances and if they played a little more sensible in those certain moments they would have made a good outcome from those chances. but yes obviously there also seemed to be a little lack of urgency. it's like they didn't even know about the away goals rule.

I am not certainly sure how to react to that. The best I can see is that whatever happens is for the best. I really did want to see Egypt playing better. But reliance on penalties is the strategy that is adapted and that is not appreciable by any means in my opinion. People including me want to see action in the actual match. And their not able to provide that.

I am pretty happy for the Senegalese team and Sadio Mane for qualifying for the World Cup because they played better as a team compared to the Egyptian that seems to be relying on penalties lately. It is true that sadly the integrity of the penalty shootout got ruined by the laser pointing by the Senegalese fans especially that which Salah missed but there's no way FIFA will review or revisit that game, it is late already plus I am not sure it was documented as a complaint in the match report by the referees.

I have always know that Senegal will qualify for world cup, Senegal is a team I so much fancy right from the afcon game they have put much work to have good results in every game they played.  Mene is always the man of the match and I know he will make the world cup so interesting for Senegal.

Sadio Mane and also Edouard Mendy the Chelsea goal keeper.
He's had a blissful career in the last two years for me, he should have very delighted he did moved to Chelsea.
I look back at what he has achieved I'm a short time, now it's time for him to display at the world Cup.
Kudos to them  I'm sure they will qualify from the group stage.

I'm sure about Senegal finishing second place in their group, but not certain about Ghana and the rest.
Although Ghana will be there to take revenge against Uruguay who knocked them out some years ago in the world Cup.
I think I can recall the goal by Luis Suarez, let's see how it goes.

Am not saying this to hate on Ghana but that is what will happen. Ghana is not that strong and technical and for that I know the BlaskStars will not be able to make it to the next stage. Unless there will be a best loser clause that Ghana can meet up with. In the case with Senegal, they look like a team that has a good understanding of team work. They will scale through to the nest stage. I see only Netherlands that can be able to give them a run for their money.

I couldn't agree more, you can say that again, most Africans are not technically wise with and off the ball, a major drawback in our game of football.
Looking at how Nigeria played them, it shows we should have proceeded but they was lucky to have scored that goal in the first half by the Arsenal defensive midfielder.

African countries are not going to find it easy to qualify from the group stage. Alot of them will result to prayers instead of practising harder to beat their opponents on the pitch. Am sure Nigeria would have been in Group C if that we qualified. There is something with Nigeria and Argentina to be in the same group at world stage in football. For the group, Morocco, Tunisia and Ghana all seem like they will not make it to the knockout stage. They are in the group of death.

I want to believe that this young team from Ghana is capable of qualifying from that group in the world cup. The truth is very few football fans gave them a chance against Nigeria but they did well and here they are heading to Qatar already. The Ghanaian team just extra bit of desire and fight for the national cause and not even Ronaldo and his Portugal team can do much. Senegalese team seems to be the favorite by many but I would give Ghana a chance to cause a major upset.

I don't know whether it's a good thing or bad but it has been proven that Nigerian players perform better for their club than national teams and it is quite difficult to place what the problem is, the players are good individually just maybe with a good technical coach and the right discipline, they will be one of the enviable team in the world. It is really sad to see a bunch of talents always playing matches with almost zero passion, just maybe a little commitment will be the solution for them.

Locally we always play against Ghana while international we play against Argentina. So obviously we would had likely draw against them in the group stages. I know messi will be missing us. The last time he played against us, he did score twice if I'm not mistaking and prior before that game he hasn't scored against our current keeper then and he was just making a big deal out of it until they meant and he destroyed his career with two goals.  Look at this grouping and you'll see Ghana is in trouble including Cameroon. Senagal could easily progress as there isn't much of a threat in the group for them.

Austin Eguavoen actually resigned after the failure of super eagles to qualify for the world cup and it is good be did because we should build a national culture of leaving office when targets aren't met.

I can't respect you for doing something that is ideal you do, he shouldn't have rush to resign and awake the national disgrace that would had fallen on him. All the boys has worked for in 2years by the previous coach was just throw away like nothing. Imagine a world cup without Nigeria, oh sorry no need imaging because it's a reality. We now have our musician representing us at Qatar instead of our national team {Qatar 2022: Davido featured on FIFA World Cup official soundtrack}
Nigeria coach Austin Eguaveon is a disgrace to local coaches, he has a very low mentality in coaching, he has been a failure since taken over from Nigeria ex coach General Rohr,  failing to qualify to the quarter final of Afcon and Qualifying for world cup, he really leads the super eagles astray, I think Nigeria needs a better coach who is so committed to the team, a coach that can change the super eagles pattern of play.

Bad luck for Egypt and bad luck Mohammad  Salah who didn’t qualify in Qatar Football World cup in 2023.Sadio Mane did well his job.But i Think It's very hard to qualify in round of 16 Africa countries. I think every group is death for Africa countries. Because evey group have to Europe and South America favourite team.If It's very hard but i think It's possible to qualify in next round in Africa Countries.Because they are improved more in next 2-3 years.

What he would have played immediately second half began is Osimen, Ighalo and Sadiq. There was no how we wouldn't have gotten another goal.

Austin Eguavoen thinks coaching is jumping up and down and shouting instructions to players on the pitch. He does not understand that technical drawing is part of it. Maybe he sees foreign coaches when they draw on papers and think they are only drawing players for Fine and applied Art class and that they are wasting their time. All members of that bench should be sacked. I discovered he was not capable to handle the Eagles when we lost to handicapped Tunisia at the AFCON.

Coaches like Austin Eguavoen make me want to hate local coaches, that guys doesn't know what he's doing. The last time Nigerian went out of the AFCON shamefully was when he was in charge same as not qualifying for the world cup finals. I strongly want local coaches as I believe they're our best bet in getting the best out of the players since they'll understand them better instead of foreign coaches but we should actually give opportunity to coaches with great tactic and not merely based on high ranking.

The draws for the world cup games are in and in my opinion senagal has the easiest draw. They can easily defeat other team member in group A expect Netherlands. Ghana has a hungry Ronaldo to face, that'll be a tough group. The official soundtrack for the World cup is out and an African was also represented on the playlist.

For that, I respect his sense of honor but again I'm very disappointed he couldn't take the opportunity that was given him, he had bunch of talents to get the task done but seemingly don't know how to use them. He should go learn and reinvent himself if he is still interested in coaching. Senegal seems to have the easiest group but it is also tricky; that group might not be as easy as many are assuming.

African Nations Cup 2023 Qualifiers begins on the June 2022 and it is 48 countries that will play the league out of the 55 Countries in the continent.

https://m.facebook.com/search/posts/?q=sportpremi&source=filter&isTrending=0&tsid=0.32173675817859393

Draws for the preliminary Round.

My prediction on the tournament is that, Nigeria will play the final with Morocco.  All the 48  teams that will play for the tournament, Nigeria is my best team so I predict for it to win the cup. Everyone can have their prediction,
Ivory Coast will be the one to host the AFCON in 2023. But I don't think they will play semi final. CAF should pick referees that has experience and well trained in the tournament.
so, Whom do you think will win the tournament. Your prediction is needed. Let see how is goes.

We have 5 teams from Africa: Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal.
The draw that was made today put Ghana, Morocco and Tunisia in awkward position, maybe the worst situation is for Tunisia. Morocco and Ghana could try their luck to pass that stage.
Cameroon group isn't that easy but they might achieve something.
Senegal in group A could pass without big hassle, their group isn't that impossible.

As I understand it, all African teams were drawn from the 4th pot, so there were no chances for a good group from the very beginning. Senegal has the best chance here, I agree, but in my opinion Cameroon and Ghana have excellent chances. Cameroon will fight for second place with equal opponents, while Ghana is in a group where almost all teams have equal chances.
