Thanks. yes xevan probably a massive algorithm design requiring a bigger fpga chip, maybe like you said to have multiple ones linked to each other on a single pcb.
we are still working with chip suppliers trying to bring down the price.

are you planning to add stratum getwork support to the miner app?   If so, yiimp pols and others would easily be able to be mined to.   This of course is assuming it is presently coded just to speak directly to a wallet.... if i'm not mistaken.

we do have an integrated host software that has Stratum, currently supports keccak, keccakC, pascal, skunk, etc.
the only one unique is xdag, which doesn't support stratus protocol, so that's why currently a hacked up version wallet sw if used instead, eventually we will figure out a way to integrate into the main host sw.

perfect!

When these are a final product;  as long as I have the extra to spend on one;  Ill at least be getting one.

I tried myself doing some research on the xevan algo flowcharts (a few coins I mine are xevan) and I really can't find anything;  and I don't have the patience to sift through the ccminer code to pick out exactly what its doing;  since it seems to have reference to many other algos as a part of itself.... one place online hinted that it would take ~2FPGA's working in unison to be able to do that algo.

Keep up the good work!  The multiple bitstreams already is a good sign!

great! let me know if you need any help, i am also available on discord and email. thanks!

Yeah  arm_race helped with first algo  a few days back
and we talked on cell phone to do the bitstream flash for second algo

today I was a big boy and loaded the newest bitstream flash all by myself and it is now working fairly well.

I will run it over night.

good job get it running! Roll Eyes yes this Maxcoin is Keccak, the other CREA tested earlier is KeccakC, theoretically all coins based on the two variants can be supported by the host SW.

I loaded a new bitstream for keccka

it is up and running on this site

https://www.nlpool.nl/?address=mGnqrkX4tgKQtRVs6eQVWEPbUo5KFnE9EY

It gets easier to add a bitstream as I get used to doing them.

awesome summary! i hope you enjoy mining with this little guy so far Wink
Thanks a lot for the effort i know you have spent a lot of time trying to set it up running smoothly!

So in about 14 hours 4.4 mature and just under 6 with coins not yet mature added.

These are nice  to mine shit coins and hold them

power cost is .5 to .7 kwatts a day.  at 20 cents a kwatt that is 10 cents to 14 cents a day.

With  the 3 bitstreams provided I mined

7 or 8 crea
36   xdag
6 max

power cost under 40 cents

you can mine and hodl coins cheaply

for 4 dollars power

I would have mined for about 30 or 40 days  and be hodling

    80 crea
  360 xdag
    60 max

you put them on an exchange  at  10 cents  for first  ½  20 cents for next ¼  and 40 cents for last ¼

It was nice talking to you. glad that we have worked out the configuration issue.
yes. xdag miner software is just a hackup version of the PC wallet, eventually our plan to merge them all to an integrated PC/Linux host software, and release for open source.

thanks.

Love the progress guys!    I've been actively watching in the corner =)

I may pick one of these up to play with myself eventually...

Thanks. we are running short on those demo boards now, if we are to go for production, we will make another pre-production batch, then i can have some more spare ones for people who are interested in testing  Wink

nlpool is mining to a max coin wallet  the software package  came that way.

So my thoughts are it is nice gear
bitstreams are not real easy to load but  you can learn to do it.

So to switch from one bitstream to another will take about 5 minutes on a fast pc.

I have a thread ripper 1920x with 32gb ram and a nvme2 ssd for win 10 pro os.

So auto profit switching is not much good with it.
I was doing really good mining xdag  yesterday, but that coins network seems screwy today.

I can not get the xdag explorer to synch

https://explorer.xdag.io/block/RKBRh91Prqtz4Heqc9zt+3UDWws9rhV0

https://explorer.xdag.io

So switching to this new coin was a welcome break.

Thought this is a fun item I will want 1 or 2
It is not a get 200 of item.
A lot will depend on bitstream work from the developers of it.

I will run this for a day or 2

and if arm_race has more bitstreams I will test them out.

I need to do a video

here is video

Your video will be live at: https://youtu.be/_bet2aRAhvw

it needs time to down load and publish

it does about 501 mhs

you can see it earn 21.8 coins

my meter reads 262 watts  with it mining
my meter read  241  watts  with 12 v dc power removed  so 21 watts for this algo

xdag.exe -m 1 -d 142.44.143.234:777

So till now it's capable of KeccakC and doubleSHA256. Is mining setup fixed per coin or per algorithm? Not clear because of mentioning patched wallet for xdag.
What is the most complex algo this FPGA capable of?

eventually we want to have an integrated cross platform host software that supports all algo, perhaps also supports programming the fpga board?
for now there is still some hacky code there..

we have compiled a list of all potential algo to be supported on this fpga, and the estimated hashrate, we will have that information updated soon.

'The right to privacy matters'
so I earned this overnight

https://explorer.xdag.io/block/RKBRh91Prqtz4Heqc9zt+3UDWws9rhV0

21.8

coins

this says I should earn  20.8 in 24 hours  my hash rate is 501mhs

https://explorer.xdag.io/mining-calculator

and this algo appears to use a lot less power then CREA

maybe 21 watts

while CREA was maybe 30 watts

I need to check meters on this  not sure about it.

on this exchange  xdag  is worth 2 cents

https://bbx.com/#/

I need to see what this continues to do.  since I earned  43 cents in under 12 hours.

If this earns  86 cents a day  and uses only 21 watts  it could be a good algo.

The exchange  seems okay .

21 watts in power is .5kwatts a day  or 5 cents  if you have 10 power.

if I continue to earn 86 cents - 5 = 81 cents a day profit better then CREA

Mind you I am mining  directly to a wallet created in the miner and I am not so sure how to run the wallet side of this.

Ie  how do I pull the coins out?
