The market for airdrops is probably better now than it used to be because I see many users who are now regularly airdrop hunting. If all these projects did not pay, then such a large number of hunters would not be airdrop hunting regularly. I have browsed several local boards on this forum where airdrop hunting is discussed a lot. Newly many have turned their attention to airdrop hunting in hopes of perhaps making a good profit. But to get paid from airdrop you have to participate in all kinds of campaigns and you have to wait for long time to work.

That dosent work any more now because lots of them do get banned. But there is nothing like Airdrop hunters are the ones that make a project token dump. How can a 1% be responsible for token dump ? The idea of ICO dosent work nowadays and its more difficult now to earn from airdrop especially the ones that you will farm for months or years and still get small reward.

Can someone tell me what is airdrop is? I didn't do research that's why i don't it. I hope a reply. This is my first time to visit a thread about airdrops and everything.
Airdrop is a reward of tokens from a project for some kind of activity you do before a certain event (usually TGE, but not always) takes place.

For example right now I'm taking part in the Prom Testnet Campaign, so allow me the liberty to use this project as an example.
Each day I log in to the Prom Testnet with my wallet.
I claim faucet and receive free test-tokens of $PROM.
After that I do various network actions  - make transfers, sign transaction, mint NFTs, etc.
Doing these activities allows the developers to make checks on the testnet before its official launch, fix the bugs etc.

And the participating users will be entitled to a reward.
In my case with Prom - the reward pool is 1 million $PROM that will be distributed among the leaders.
They will also get a DAO title of Delegate and will be able to vote on community governance and receive voting power from fellow members who do not wish to burden themselves with governance, but would like to partake a share of the profits.
For community governance services Prom Delegates will share a $ of Network profits, namely 30% of Prom network profits will go to Delegates.

Actually I should also point out that normally you get to sell the tokens you receive from an airdrop.
But with Prom Network the actual reward for the testnet activity will be the Delegate role.
And the $PROM tokens that will be dropped to your wallet will actually be locked from selling or transferring.
They will only be for use in voting.
But this voting will get the Delegates more money than you would expect from selling the tokens.

Several times I heard about airdrop hunters. They create many accounts from different IPs and participate in airdrops of different ICOs. But as soon as exchange starts, they sell all those tokens/coins. Did i understand correctly?

What is interesting how they affect ICOs value on the market?

For example, I am participating in KickCity’s airdrop today because I want to invest in this company. But I don’t think that all participants are eager to do the same. How it may affect the company’s future?

Btw, do somebody know about avaliable now Airdrops?

Actually, the reason why some of the ico's are really successful on their project or tokens is because of their platform that is being successful and if developer swill work really hard then there is no doubt that their altcoins will really grow even more in the future.

I have joined in some airdrop projects but I just received worthless tokens which are very cheap in the market. So, I decide that spending time to trade or invest in bounty tokens than join into airdrop

many are doing so and that it is a strategy. they do that because after the exchanges started certainly the price is still in a State of high. that's why they sell all brands that have been able to before the price goes down a long way so they can get lucky.

bounties are better than airdrops but you will also lose the opportunity to have extra money on airdrops that's why I think you should also keep on joining them. You won't even lose any money in joining both.

MTC. is controlled by the community as there is no need for miners, no more annoying ASICs to worry about or one upping the competition with GPU farms, the market is quite stable and is growing consistently, the point of

I think the most important point is the early selling of tokens. This can be done by anyone who has tokens not just people from the airdrop and an early dump can decrease the value of the coin

The hunter of airdrops in this world is now increasingly rampant. With many communities selling airdrops token will have a devastating impact on the company's continuation. Companies need a lot of communities that use and maintain their tokens. If the community sells its token in bulk, the company will automatically lower the price of the token. Because if not lower the price, the company will experience greater losses. The future of the company becomes unclear, because the company is not getting the funds from investors, consequently the project from the company does not run smoothly in accordance with the process, and the project can fail.

According to me When the exchange starts the price of high coins and price dump every time so early they sell better. ICO only drops a small portion of their coins and you will get only a small amount but sometimes high coin prices so they will get bigger. And ICO does the air point to promote their coins and to attract more investors.

I participate in a few airdrops every month, but look for mainly the coins and tokens that do bounties as well. So I do do the airdrop a bit as like part of the bounty. I don't go looking daily specifically for airdrops as I am not just in one thing specifically. Like yesterday I had time so I participated in two airdrops while setting up three Twitter and Facebook campaigns for the week, but I don't go out specifically looking for airdrops, although they could be a good source of extra income if the projects are legit that is and you actually get paid.

they just believe that they need a penny to keep them alive , finally , airdrops maybe sometime kill the ICO's even there is a good project or good development , all depend on markets!

Too  many airdrops almost everyday. It is time consuming to scan through. Good thing is that it costs nothing, unless you are thinking of investing. Just hope that can find a gem in these airdrops, like Polymath

airdrops rewards are very low normally so there is no big effect of selling that coins.... there are some people that tries to cheat using multiaccounts but most of times they just waste their time and be banned....

for example I have someone that is using my email for every airdrop..... i Have to spent 2 minutes of my time joining telegram ICo channel and make him be banned from admin..
