Well first of all read in this forum beginners posts. After if you want to invest something invest in crypto that is well researched and for me you better get infrastructure coins .Second you can do bounty campaigns and earn free crypto .For trading you need extra experience
For new entrants in the cryptocurrency market, it is important to determine which sector you want to participate in. If you want to invest then the most important thing is to study the knowledge of this market so much to have the basis of investment, learn from the experience of people who entered the market before is necessary. If you do not want to invest and just want to do bounty campaigns then you can refer to the way people work here to complete your work.

My advice to newbie is that never trust a single source and always study yourself before investing in any coin. There are many people which want that you invest in wrong coin and help to pump the coin which makes it very difficult to find a good source of knowledge. You should follow legit people, look into protect deeply and look into the team members and then invest.

Hello Everyone, I'm very new to Altcoins, Cryptocurrencies In General. I'm Looking for someone's advice that has been around for a while to kind of give me some tips or pointers on how to spot legit coin's, what to look for before investing. Really just any guidance on a basic level would be greatly appreciated.

I think you really need to be specific here.
Have you find the right trading platform you will be engaging with?
Name it and we will see the legitimacy of it and also histories if there are scams that happened.

I dont think someone can teach you in an instant about trading. For some of them have differences. We need some examples of what you will trade and where.

Binance got a lot of coins listed with them. Recently, there have been a hack with one trading platform. So i suggest you pick one of them for starters.

If you are new to the cryptocurrencies market and want to find out and invest in altcoins, then first you need to have knowledge of cryptos. If you understand the basics of cryptos, you will find out what materials and knowledge you will need to know and how to choose which altcoins to invest in. The advice is to invest in the top 10 altcoins under Coinmarketcap.

As you are a newbie, you need to know a lot about cryptocurrencies. You can Use Google, youtube to know about crypto more and whats the benefit of it.At the current time, lots of coins are over there which don't have any loyal purpose and just go away after scaming people.so First research about that, before you make any investment as you are a newbie

You can start by reading all the meanings of cryptocurancy, and you can continue to move on this porum, because every day there will be new science distributed in this porum.
To choose a good coin you can first analyze every ICO project you will follow, you can read the whitepaper, and find out who the team is behind the project, and if you are confident with your analysis you can register on the bounty project, and start your work as a campaign participant.

The first rule for beginners is not to listen to anyone and learn to analyze all the information yourself. Sometimes it's even useful to skip a promising moment, to analyze later - why you missed it. It gives a lot of experience

Thanks Guys, Anyone Every get any Legit leads on good coins from Guys in here? Or is it mostly people try to pump a bad coin? Also Would most people say just to put money into the big guys Like btc, ltc,Eth and forget about the small guys? I just Feel like although your chances of hitting something good is extremely low with altcoins at least there is a small chance.

I think that in order to tell whether a cryptocurrency is good or bad, you should at least understand its team. You should read its whitepaper. If necessary, you can communicate with its team!

I would like to say if I am also like you who are beginners in the world of crypto.jika you want to participate in ICO, my suggestion you should do research first, because not all ICO is good and do not promise for your future. if the ICO is good it has a team that has experienced and strong, they will also make or promote its products that really benefit us all.
Being in the world of the crypto currencies is no doubt a very profitable thing to do as it then helps you in making of some good amount of earning but you can’t deny the fact that you must put in lot of efforts to make some good earning. when it comes to that of the altcoins, the only thing which can help you out is going for day trading and to do that, you must put in lot of efforts.

It is a good sign that you are willing to learn and asking for guidance. Best place to start your learning I think is youtube. You'll find some good basic information there. You can also read the bitcoin whitepaper for a start.

I agree with you in part, but the question is that a lot of people on YouTube talk about what they do not understand, here is the only advice to you, to be patient and learn everything in practice. And over time, you will develop your tactics. This site has a lot of information you just need to read and look for!
