I think altcoin is not dying, altcoin moves from bitcoin prices so when bitcoin prices rise then altcoin also increases while when bitcoin decreases in price it is certain altcoin will also decrease in price, you should be able to take advantage of such a good time to be able to get profit very much by buying when cheap.

Agreed, they aren't dying, they just have a lower market cap so their volatility is extremely obvious. One way to keep your bags safe is to anticipate the next correction, which is hard to know in general due to a lot of news related FUD. The other way is for us to wait until https://marketprotocol.io finishes its dApp and we get a chance to hedge our holdings against stable coins and gold backed coins. They partnered with DGX and Havven just recently, so that will be  a cool way to fight volatility.

Only those altcoins that are not good will die. And not all. The value of altcoins really drops but those good altcoins are growing big after a big dump. I believe in some altcoins and i invested to some of it.
I am a holder of altcoin and i dont believe that all altcoin are dying maybe some altcoins will die in the market but not all altcoins will dje specially the ethereum, waves, neo, litecoin and ripple this 5 altcoins will surely have a bright future in the market.

The market at the topsy turvy is ordinary. In any case, for the digital money market.it misses the mark with a specific end goal to develop more later on. What's more, right now the altcoins available are digital currency ascending once more. affirming its improvement and potential.helping financial specialists to believe the numerous altcoins.

Many people have discussed the future of altcoins. The altcoins certainly will not die so quickly. I believe most of the altcoins will eventually die, but the altcoins that survive are still many.

Altcoins are future, because BTC mining one day willl end, and BTC price then can go only up. Plus altcoins transfers are faster and not so expensive. Altcoins will go up and more and more crypto users will work with them.

You try to know the future, but it is impossible, we can only see what has already happened, what will fall further number, no one knows in advance.

The altcoins are never going to die. I assert. Looking at the whole market, they are growing day by day. The market at the upside down is normal. But for the cryptocurrency market, it falls short in order to grow more in the future. And currently the altcoins on the market are cryptocurrency rising up again, confirming its development and potential, helping investors to trust the many altcoins.
But most altcoins will disappear. The first will die those projects that do not have a work product. Natural selection I think will happen already this year and all means will flow into bitcoin.

I have never believed in alt coin much because it doesn't have potential to become  the leader on the crypto market. As for me, nothing can be compared with BTC today. There is no better alternative still

Use at least some analysis in your reasoning. The growth of altcoins is due to the growth of bitcoin. Now it is too late to buy and you need to wait for some correction to know what to do next.

That's not accurate. Altcoins are growing also because they represent innovation, leading the way for many new blockchain applications.

You can not judge altcoins based only on their value or marketcap.

just woke up on this massive dump !

what do you think it's causing this ? and do you think this is the best time to buy ? or it will dump even more   Shocked

I wouldn't say they are. I know many of them are decreasing in value, which is surely a nail-biter for many people in the market, especially those who hold them or for those that are more focused in that department of this market. It's not very easy to actually just kill off altcoins because there is just so many of them in the market, and agree or not, it still does a lot changes, and it affects the market significantly. Even though many of them just die out, many are still steadily gaining value, however slow that may be, just like Ethereum.

No its not, it is just normal for  atlcoins to drop down. Wilk just  be patient and wait for it to recover. Besides after it recovers net in line is to drop again. Its a trend.
It is not just altcoins, rather the whole market keeps pumping and dumping. So there is no reason as such to panic and consider that crypto currencies are dying. They are just hibernating for some time, not dead in reality. We are simply supposed to keep holding them in the dumps so that the market recovers easily soon. The rise in the values of bitcoin will also help altcoins to show good progress in prices.

Altcoins are not going anywhere. While old scammy altcoin projects will continue to get abandoned, new ones will continue to be created. Just look at btc dominance..it's decreasing as time goes by, which goes to show that altcoins are nibbling away at the btc value and taking over global market cap.

Altcoins, who have a real business or a popular platform, will not die. Also those who do not have technology and innovation will die. Also those who have poor financial support or are not in demand will die.

Most of the altcoins are created these days just to pump and dump, thats why they vanish in no time. Also a reason why exchanges cost that much to list coins. Only legit coins should afford to get listed.

Looking for gigs

As of today, we are still experiencing losses from time to time because the entire market has not recovered yet. The positive thing right now is the ongoing Consensus 2018 event in New York City, where around 7,000 investors are in attendance. For the past three consecutive years, the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins shoot up after the event, and there is no doubt that it will shoot up even more because the number of attendees grew 3 times more.

For now, altcoins won't die and they are here to stay. Wink

Some altcoins might be dying because they were simply abandoned.

Others just don't have what it takes to endure.

And others are dying because they were scams from the beginning and now their creators are already enjoying the profit.

The good altcoins are doing great!

Most of alts just follow current  trend of BTC/ETH. But not in all cases. Cryptomarket cut only to Bitcoin is limited and boring. There is no quality without competition
