Except for ETH, buying other altcoins at this stage is actually quite risky. I also like to invest in altcoins because their returns are better than bitcoin, but we need to consider choosing the right time. The market has not improved yet, bitcoin has also been dumped below $20k today, so accumulating altcoins from now on is very risky. We should focus more on bitcoin and only accumulate ETH during this period, as it is the most reliable altcoin in the market.

one might say, not in a really good situation, so you are right that altcoins are headed for a very worrying situation in the current development. but I don't agree that altcoins are in a situation of entering a phase or whatever it's called, that said altcoins are dead.
There are still many altcoins that are promising and very good to make very attractive investments, but not for new projects, so temporarily avoid them.
this situation is the right time to keep collecting potential altcoins until at least the halving era comes along.

LTC has a limited supply of only 84 million units, making it "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold". It's fast, cheap, and has built-in privacy features (Mimblewimble) for the truly paranoid. Investors are usually moved by new and exciting features, so who knows if these aforementioned coins reach the moon someday? Just my opinion

You're right about Litecoin. For me, the best indicator of its quality is that I really use them. There are many exchanges (for example, the free2ex crypto exchange) that enter/withdraw only cryptocurrencies such as LTC BTC ETH, from the listed cryptocurrencies. The best offer for commission fee and speed is LTC. Perhaps the situation has changed recently and they have added more cryptocurrencies. But LItecoin is cool - it's a fact.

Maybe some coins are already dead because they can't survive the bearish and some other coins can't keep up with the trend in the crypto space so they end up abandoned by their community. Right now a lot of coins updating their roadmap and their services to the trend. We will see a lot of projects already supporting NFT, Metaverse and Web3 because they don't want to be left behind.

I never believe whatever people say. I believe BNB, Ethereum, XRP, ADA, Tron all these coins will survive in the market as long as Bitcoin is in Cryptocurrencies. They can never be destroyed. Actually, under any circumstances that could be true, but on the other hand, right now there will only be a few of them who survive because the further away the alt project will become worthless and that is a fact that cannot be changed under any circumstances.
There are too many projects in altcoins that seem only for personal gain which makes this look bad so when you want to be in altcoins it is really good to only be in something that is certain like ETH for example.
