Altcoins never die. They will exist based on usage and application needs. The price increases and decreases are not as large as the developers who continue to develop the cryptocurrency through contributions on GitHub. This shows that the developers have not neglected their projects. Banks are collapsing and that's why people will choose Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency to store their assets in the future because they are at least more transparent than the traditional banking system.

This is the reality and I think the raise of the crypto currencies will be hard as we all know that the best crypto currencies will be rise and we are all know what's going on the market some altcoins are slightly going to dead and some are going down which is very hard for us to choose if what coins we are going to use in our investment. But only thing I assure bitcoin will be the best now and forever.

No doubt, Bitcoin will continue to dominate the market, even we currently experiencing some fall but when bull run takes it turn
then we will expect that Bitcoin will rise back.

With other crypto alternative, there's a need to sorting and studying the market for certain coin that you are targeting to invest your money,
remember all the fundamentals and analyze the possibilities.

Once you are done, buy and hold till you reached the target selling position, a matter of patience and trust.

At present you notice that as the Bitcoin market declines, all the coins that were unique have prices moving lower.  And the highest trading volume is in Bitcoin whose investors and by any measure Bitcoin is the best and the king of all coins. So only when Bitcoin price goes down, all coins go down. And when the price of bitcoin increases, the signal on all coins turns green.

Many people are unaware that volume plays a significant role in the price of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market. After Binance, there is currently no exchange with volume that is close to that of the bull run. The reason Binance is better is because after the recent FUD of exchanges, many traders have gained trust in Binance, and in the same way, some exchanges have lost some of their traders, leading to all of this decline in volume. The situation will improve when the market enters a fresh bull run, but it will be difficult for certain altcoins to rise from the dead; new ones will appear as time goes on.

Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?
my view is that ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON will likely continue to survive in the market and will not die. it is due to the many developments of the crypto and the full support of their team and developers. it's different with Altcoins that die on the market, maybe Altcoins that suddenly die don't have full support from their company, in my opinion it's like that

ETH does have much better conditions compared to other altcoins and being there can still be quite good but given the current conditions I think being there is still a high risk, and it's better to wait a little longer because as we know bitcoin still can't be said fully stable and on the rise, so it's better to wait a little longer if you really want to be there although my advice is still for bitcoin but when you want to be in altcoins like ETH I think this can still be done.

You are right, now is not the right time to invest in altcoins because we don't know if bitcoin will continue to fall or not. Today, the collapse of the silicon valley bank is a red flag for the world economy, so the possibility of bitcoin being dumped is very likely. Once BTC is dumped, altcoins will be much worse, even many of them will disappear from the market map. My plan is to stand outside and observe the altcoin market, keeping my eyes only on bitcoin.
The worsening of the current recession will clearly have an impact on all aspects and indeed cryptocurrencies are also included in it so seeing conditions without the need to rush into the market is a good thing. Unless indeed we get a real reversal even though with the current conditions we just hope conditions improve quickly but when the recession and the inflation rate continues to rise then indeed all we can do is just wait and wait.
Even though the current price is actually quite worth it, it's still very risky if we only look at the short term, unless we really want to be for the longer term, then this can still be done by making regular purchases.

Yep. The price of Bitcoin has dropped significantly. The issues are Silvergate and Silicon Valley Bank.
But a few hours before the sharp price drop, 40k BTC from the wallet linked to the US Government seizure was moved,
and around 9,861 BTC had been sent to Coinbase that which caused extra selling pressure.

Although it took weeks to recover. Today is the time to start DCA. IMO

We have to look first at what we are buying because in this case not everything will go well so we need some consideration and think further about buying this because it is quite simple to actually buy altcoins and hold but on the other hand this is actually a big risk.
They have to look at the bounce of bitcoin and things like this are obviously a bit more complicated when bitcoin is like it is now, so it's better to think from now on whether this is actually a good thing or not.
Except for ETH, buying other altcoins at this stage is actually quite risky. I also like to invest in altcoins because their returns are better than bitcoin, but we need to consider choosing the right time. The market has not improved yet, bitcoin has also been dumped below $20k today, so accumulating altcoins from now on is very risky. We should focus more on bitcoin and only accumulate ETH during this period, as it is the most reliable altcoin in the market.

It's true that we don't predict the future of crypto. very significant price bullish and bearish make people afraid to invest in crypto.
but if you look at alt coin projects like eth cardano tron xrp it has a good concept and it is possible to rise in the future if the project they are developing can run smoothly. I hope the pope doesn't play the price of the crypto

I know that only true believers of cryptocurrency survive the flow of the market and the weak ones are the ones that leave and quitting on investing or trading. I guess that if they lose a lot then they are the one who has already left.

Altcoins are just going with the flow of the BTC value, I would say that taking advantage while the market is in a dip is really a good tactic. Investing in altcoins is risky but really worth it in the future once the value pumps up.

At the end of every crypto winter we always have some coins that will not recover from the impact of the market meltdown and being unable to recover means they're forced to close down and become dead.

Project that doesn't have real usages will surely die along the way, support will leave them and will find new project to invest,
very normal in this market.

Quote
While some fake projects are waiting for such opportunities to pull an exit scam on investors, so genuine projects can also be caught in that web too, most time some good projects couldn't stand the demand to recover after a heavy market crash, but we still have some other altcoins who have managed to recover each time the price crashed alongside others.

Fake projects will do some dive trying to bring attention before it will completely dump itself and be forgotten.

Needs a lot of time in researching and studying before you should invest your money to avoid losing your hard-earned investment.

Maybe some coins are already dead because they can't survive the bearish and some other coins can't keep up with the trend in the crypto space so they end up abandoned by their community. Right now a lot of coins updating their roadmap and their services to the trend. We will see a lot of projects already supporting NFT, Metaverse and Web3 because they don't want to be left behind.
There must be a reason on why they can't survive the bearish trend. It can be lack of community support or they are simply built for scamming. Other than bear and bull trends, we also have different trends here in crypto. The latest one would be the AIs. Even if many old coins can't relate with it, they can still grow on their own. they have solid supporters who won't leave them on the air.

Some of their supporters might be tempted to try the newer trends/coins but they will only invest a little amount on those. Those who update their roadmaps are not confident with what they currently offer. They feel that not many people are attracted with them, so they do their best to improve. That was still a good initiative.

Seems tragic with altcoin current price right now after Bitcoin dropped under $20,000, exactly unbelieving how altcoin dropped more than 50% when Bitcoin have lower price under 10%. Have been dilemma when Bitcoin drop few percent only potential with altcoin will drop twice than bitcoin or ability above 40% until 50%.

But difference when Bitcoin raising up above 5% or 10% but altcoin can't reach more than 10% and stuck up few percent only before have stable price. Still loyal waiting when altcoin make new all time high and need more patience for waiting when Bitcoin back above $30,000 for giving opportunities with altcoin up.

Yes some coins die in the current bitcoin cycle because the events are so scary like FTT, yes the development roadmap must be dynamic with the trend because usually investors always look at the trends that exist in the market like metaverse, web3 and NFT as you say it will make developers have multiple ecosystems of their coins and added services so utility on tokens people need them more and more. as now it's interesting to see that one of those categories is Polygon and ETH, and the others mentioned by OP also have a large enough community and ecosystem so the risk of death is very small.

altcoins have their place and use in the market. Of course, the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and some altcoins may fall in value or even be withdrawn from the market. However, this doesn't mean that all altcoins are dead. Some altcoins will continue to grow in popularity and use.

While some coins may experience a decline in value in the short term, it is possible that they may recover and continue to grow in the long term, depending on various factors such as their underlying technology, adoption rates, and overall market conditions.

It is important to remember that investing in cryptocurrencies carries significant risks and that individuals should carefully consider their investment goals and risk tolerance before investing. It is also advisable to seek professional financial advice before making any investment decisions.
Scalpers and investors likely benefit from both short- and long-term trading. While solid initiatives required patience from investors because it can take a long time before they are certain to hit the bull target, perfect timing demanded strong market entrance. Altcoins have a set period during which they're hit with the long green candles, therefore risks need to be controlled so that trading accounts don't get liquidated. I predicted that the bear season, which has a long history in the market, is still ongoing and that it will hit altcoins hard this time. Most altcoins did not survive the bear season.

Most of the top coins were hyped by influencers and whales, and they have all withdrew their investments; the majority of them will not live to tell the tale in the next bull run; they will perish. Coins like SOlana, Avalanche, APtos, and Near Protocol were all pumped by Alameda and SBF and have now gone into hibernation; nobody wants to associate or buy this coin again because those who came in first have all lost; they need a large amount of pump to recover their investments, and guess what, traders and whale are done with these coins.
