Altcoin projects will disappear, the crypto market will not disappear. Even if the items you mentioned are gone, there will be new items to replace them. In the crypto world, every day new projects appear and old ones disappear. Many new and good projects need to be discovered slowly. So altcoins will die, but they will always live.

We must remember that whenever the price of Bitcoin goes way down there is a case to be made that the same thing can be said with the alt coins.  Being in the middle of a 'Bear market' is no different.
I do not think our alt coins are 'dead' as this title states. But I do think it is is our better interest to hodl them or even trade them for Bitcoin for the time being at least.

Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?

Eth and ADA are the most favorite altcoins, they only experience a decline, not going to die, I'm sure these two tokens will be at their peak during the bull run later
only new coins that don't have full strength will die and disappear from the market so you have to be precise in choosing coins to invest

What makes you sure that ADA won't die in the few years to come? I mean, I know what you're trying to say, it's just that there's still some risk regarding these altcoins because most of them are heavily dependent towards the situation of bitcoin. If bitcoin falls, so as the altcoins but if the bitcoin hikes upwards, these altcoins will remain as they need their own investors to boost them up. But I agree, ETH and ADA are one of the favorable altcoins that I have.

Altcoins are very solid projects to invest in the market but not all makes profits at the end, some dump heavily during the bear season and they're unable to bounced back or even the survived the long red candles on the chart. Altcoins are not dead despite their market cap or trading volume, always take out time to specialized or study the type of altcoin to invest money into without fear or doubt about crashing. We have witnessed so many crashes of altcoins in the past, it's absolutely no thing in the market, because it's general fact about the altcoins and the market.

my view is that ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON will likely continue to survive in the market and will not die. it is due to the many developments of the crypto and the full support of their team and developers. it's different with Altcoins that die on the market, maybe Altcoins that suddenly die don't have full support from their company, in my opinion it's like that

Since Ethereum and ADA offer real solutions to important needs in the market, they can continue to exist for many years. However, it is not easy to say the same for TRX and XRP. We can see this by comparing the interest of developers on Ethereum and ADA with that on TRX and XRP. However, I largely agree with your comment. Good and real projects are really few.

Bearish market only eliminates the weak coins and the hyped coins only. Those coins with strong fundamentals and those who have good products, surely survive and have no problem at all. ETH, TRX, and ADA are examples of strong altcoins, they won't be eliminated by the bearish market. If you think they will be removed from the market, you seem still don't understand their fundamentals. Check again deeply about those altcoins, they are not the same as the meme coins.  Grin

I will only agree with you on ETH, Tron or ADA, I am not sure about them, maybe they will not die this bear season, but there is no guarantee they will continue to exist in the next bear seasons. It wouldn't be surprising if one of them dies and is replaced by newer coins, the lifespan of the altcoins is very short.
Currently, we can be sure that ETH will rise again if bitcoin increases again, but ADA or Tron remains a question. If they are not likely to rise again, they are dead, and the people who invested in them are losers.

I'm feeling the same thoughts as those people that have been saying that they're already too late in buying bitcoin because it's too expensive. But we go with the fact that it's quite a lot for those that don't have that much. And it's sort of a guilt feeling if ever you'll buy when you're looking at it while it increases.
In the end, this is just old-fashioned thinking, which is always used as an excuse not to buy.
In fact, by looking at the existing ATH and the current conditions, of course the price is too high just an excuse that doesn't make sense.
We buy bitcoin does not mean we have to buy 1 bitcoin or more than that. Indeed, that is quite good, but on the other hand, when we don't have that much money, we can just buy it with the money we have, without forcing it and buying it periodically, of course, that's a good thing.
Our stigma by just continuing to wait for bitcoins at a low price as we want is clearly impossible to achieve and when they go up we are the ones who feel sorry for not buying from the price when it decreased.

Due to the free access to the source code and because of the ability of everyone to create their own cryptocurrency, a significant part of altcoins is useless or even fraudulent.

Exactly, currently token creation is very easy. I found several token generators on various networks. They only need to pay a certain number of coins to generate tokens. For example for BEP20

With standard tokens, i only need to pay 0.5 BNB. After that, I can do a sales for each wit 0.01 BNB, its mean I only need 50 tokens to get back my creation fees. After I can do a sale for 8000 tokens, i get a lot of money, and can run with that.  Grin
Thats why, we can see new tokens everyday and rugged, because for me, I just need to create a concept, and if looks good, maybe I can sell my tokens, even I'm not a programmer can create it.

From here, we can learn something, always careful when every new crypto enthusiast buying any new altcoins. Because new tokens is easy to dead or rugged.

The current market situation is almost the same as it was in 2017, however some new investors are afraid of losing a lot of money due to the current price drop.
Looking back a bit, when BTC was $63k USD, everyone panicked to buy, but when it was $20k USD only a few investors bought it and most importantly, altcoins always followed the BTC price.
Due to the free access to the source code and because of the ability of everyone to create their own cryptocurrency, a significant part of altcoins is useless or even fraudulent. Therefore, with every big price drop, a significant part of them leave this market forever. However, even that small part of useful altcoins that remain make a big contribution to the overall development of the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is a general purpose coin. Various usefulness of cryptocurrencies is provided by altcoins. Therefore, useful, and therefore top altcoins, will live, despite temporary price drops and difficulties.

Those altcoins stated by OP weren't dead coins. Yeah, he didn't mention or asked about if they're dead but they're not those altcoins that are near to their end.
Despite the controversy that some of it are with, those are still at the top and look at ETH compared to the time when this was asked. It's been pumping together with bitcoin.
You are right, there are lots of top altcoin lists so surely people know that he wants to discuss specific altcoins in the category of coins dying due to various scam issues and definitely not the top altcoins he is referring to.
Yeah, when someone highlights some names of the coins then for sure that it's the main reason of the topic.

Even if you have taken profit in the current price increase phase but it is not too late to buy it again during the correction, there is still a chance to take high profit in the long term

But we know that not all good or potential coins does survive on a bear market on which there are still shit ones who do able to withstand certain market conditions and that into those coins which had been hyped or been shilled out. This is why most of investors specially noob ones does really tend to take some gamble into those so called low caps or low prices type of coins on which they do really believe that they could
make themselves really that rich on the time bull run would happen.Altcoins couldnt be dead but its true that to those who do have strong fundamentals and use cases
are the ones who would  survive into this market after how many years been running.

for sure right now altcoins have encountered a ton of decline and as of not long ago there have been no indications of expanding once more, yet as I would like to think this isn't the finish of altcoin development, on the grounds that the ongoing downfall isn't similar to the decrease in crypto in 2018, where crypto has an extremely profound decay around then, after its we can see altcoins fill quickly in the next year, I prescribe for fledglings to begin effective financial planning with altcoins now since they are entirely reasonable,

Altcoins are really depending on the value of BTC, and if the price of Altcoin goes uptrend then some whales are pumping it. And, altcoins are really worth it to hold if it will go up in the future and that is why we need to only invest what we think an altcoin can last long and you think that is worth for a long term asset.

Not really because when the value of bitcoin rises, altcoins will only have a short rally because it still depends its investors as well but if bitcoin's price dives steep, all altcoins will follow because it will be a domino effect from the most dominant coin as almost all investors from any coins in the market will start doubting especially when it comes to bear season where almost all investor will pull out mainly the ones who doesn't have a strong knowledge about it and just there because of the recent hype.

There are too many scams in altcoins, but the crypto market is not dying. There are new coins coming out all the time. It is true that too many people have left the cryptocurrency market, they do not believe that there are good projects, but I think there will still be good projects. After such a long period of precipitation. In the cryptocurrency market, I mainly make money through altcoins. Of course I also invest in Bitcoin, I think that is just a means of storage. The real money still needs altcoins.
The way people are getting scammed with altcoins are massive and if this continues, we might have to ask a lot of questions because scammers find it as an opportunity to develop altcoins project and promote it through influencers that are only after getting paid alone and nit interested to clarify and check if the project if the project is genuine before going ahead to promote it. The mistakes do end up with newbies that know nothing about altcoins and how it can be used to scam potential investors. We need to be extra ordinary careful about investing in altcoins or else we might be a victim.
The problem in things like this is how from ourselves too. When indeed our mindset is only to get big profits in an instant way, there will still be many people who will be affected by this kind of fraud, but if we have the awareness that something like this is not possible then this might still be overcome.
We cannot prevent fraudsters from even hiring influencers to carry out their actions because that is clearly an impossibility and for influencers they also work even though it is their fault that they do not see whether the work is right or not.
