For almost 2 years of being in crypto I have noticed that all of the coin went up not only by satoshi but also in dollars. Others had 1000% growth so I think if we will hold our altcoins for atleast 2-5 years then we will surely become rich. These are the coins that I think will have a big growth in the future Xem, Pundix, Siacoin, Stratis, Neo, Dgb, Xvg, Eth and many more.
Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?

when all the prices are really low, if you need something very good choose something from the top 10. Ethereum and bitcoin will be the best, neo will benefit with the technology so choose from these coins. Most of the coins must achieve growth when you will hold it 2-3 years.
I think the OMG coin is good for three years to hold.In January OMG was priced at $26.1439.But now the price is $7.0048.So let's buy this now.I think the price of OMG will exceed $100 in two or three years.
If I remember it right, OMG was pumped after announcing of collaboration with Macdonald's, but now there aren't any hot news 'bout this coin. 
any alive alts can be a good coin in the future 2-3 years of holding is too risky for a coin because the ideal holdings if 6 to a year time so if you want to hold a coin for 2-3 years it is better that you will choose a stable coin like eth.

if you hold altcoin as long as it seems you can now get a lot of profits, just now from altcoin you mentioned the price has gone up and just imagine if you hold it up to 3 years surely the price will be expensive snagat and can give a very advantage much for you.

In my opinion, you should buy a lot of ETH and hold on for a long time. ETH will be the altcoin that gives you the most profit because I believe the value of ETH will increase in the coming years. When the economy is no longer degraded, everything becomes prosperous, the price of ETH will cross the $ 2k threshold in 3-4 years.

If you prefer to holding altcoin, I recommend you to hold Credits (CS). I'm pretty sure this coin will growth faster thann Sky Rocket if mainnet released on this month. this project have a good concept with 1,000,0000 Transcation per second (want to be a fastest blockchain ever). Just buy this coin because now they are really cheap.
For such a long-term investment, it is better to consider the mates from the top 50-100 and each to study separately for it to have real technology, a good team and a promising product, then already invest. After all, it is predicted that 90% of all altcoins will disappear, so choose carefully!
Most altcoins should only be considered as short-term investments because of all the coins available on coinmarketcap, I'm sure 95% of coins will disappear this year and make room for newer and better altcoins. You should keep a little bit of IOTA and ZIL. IOTA is extremely potential for long term.

This thread maybe old, but there are couple of coins that are worth keeping for the future. Take a look at SNT, omx, Ziliqa for long term. They have a very optimistic road map, and if successful, will hit the roof
