Personally, I do not look so far into the future, in the crypto world you need to earn here and now, to choose the most profitable areas at the moment like shorting right now.
2-3 years is very long time for crypto currencies, most of them will be worthless so you must invest to stable and good project like ethereum, eos or Neo, I dont trust to others much like these 3 project.
Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?

Altcoin holding for 2-3 years or more are no doubt very good investment. There are many good coins to hold for future, some of them selected and mentioned are very good. But do not invest all your money single time. Break up total investment in 3 to 4 segment and buy when there is down in! interesting tokens are,SONM,Universa and NEO to hold for a long time
I observed prices from last year token tokens did not experience a significant price increase. and in my opinion for some coins like NEO it is very good as an investment

IOTA in longterm, I can imagine that Internet of things changes our life in few years. IOTA is currently the best one for IOT. IOTA cooperates with big companies such as BOSCH, INNOGY. Taipei will be the first smart-city and IOTA will try to help this city to do it

NEO looks good, but I think even NEO, ETH and other cryptocurrencies are not worth keeping for 2-3 years! The market is changing every day, except for Bitcoin, I don't think any coins are worth saving!

If you are doing a long term investment, I would suggest to choose a proven and best platform. You can chouse Ethereum, Wanchain and Neo as this will surely get a higher value in 1 to 3 years of holding.
I would better recommend you NOT to hold altcoins for such a long time. It will be much more profitable for you if you trade, probably sell the alts, buy them again. Ethereum and NEO and good for it.
But everybody have own strategy
I don't think any altcoin is worth 2-3 years now, because with the position of Ethereum gradually decreasing, most of the altcoin will eventually return to zero!
I do not like this investment strategy simply because it's too long for me, However, if it suits you then act this is a really good investment strategy and it will pay for itself the main thing is to choose good coins!

Their are various other coins which can become a part of your portfolio as it will help you to make the best returns in coming 1-3 years. Yes at times this coins drop drastically but you hold it for long term it should not be an issue.

I think that for two or three years it is best to invest in coins on the basis of which ICO is issued, this is a very popular direction today, which is likely to give rise to coins: ETH, NEO, STRAT, XEM.
I think the holding strategy must be implemented, but if holding within 2-3 years will cause a lot of risk, and this must be balanced with sales to always be stable in gaining profit.

Holding an altcoin for 2-3 years is risky. Not all alcoins will survive or increse their price after 3 years. You should choose the ones with a running product already used by many people. Jump to:
