I think the better is monero, ltc, neo...take a look at the others recommendation and you fill find several same coins. The most they mention it then probably the coins has a good chance.

For me the coins that I would like to hold for moer than 2-3 years should bring in real value. Among your list I really like NEO. Since you are into NEO check THEKEY also. TKY is to NEO as Civic is for Ethereum. Another proejct that I am bullish about is Storm, they already have a working app with about 350k users using it.

You are planning to hold coins for long period of time then i think ripple is a best coin because as it is having a good market capitalisation which is approximately of 474336xrp and this coin is also very cheap so if everything goes well then at the end of 3 years you can have a profit of more than 20 to 30 times.

I will not recommend you to hold any coin, maybe except bitcoin, for two years. A market is very volatile so you should rebalance your portfolio at least once in a month.

Yes they are good to hold. As well as ETH, LTC, VTC, waves and xmr are good choices. These are more stable coins in the market. If you wish to take some risk and expect a high return, select AION, Tel, TNT and ETP. But it has more risk as I earlier said. Do your own research before you take any decision.

I myself prefer investments for the long term. but I put mostly up to half of a year. If you buy coins for 2 years, so I think it should be Ethereum

For a long term take a look at Zilliqa and AION . These projects have amazaing perspectives . Zilliqa is already on hype , so it's price already raised significantly , while AION is waiting his time . Also , NEO and Waves are a good projects , you can feel safe investing in them

i would recommend you to buy ethereum. ethereum have a good record for long term investment and i do think it will grow. i dont know about all the coin you mentioned  but i dont think investing on them will bring any profit for long term. i do think neo is good coin and good option to invest on it but i do think its better to invest in ethereum instead.

If you're doing a long term investment, I would suggest to choose a proven and good platform. Go with Ethereum, Monero and litecoin as this will surely get a higher value in 2 to 3 years of holding.

Only If I could emphasise much, my biggest recommendations are :

1) POWR

2) PRG

3) NEO

4) XRP

5) DRGN

All these will grow exponentially in another 12-24 months.

NEO and OMG is definitely a good choice. But not sure about XVG. A lot of FUD around it.
Consider to HODL on XMR, Waves or even ARK. Still pretty cheap right know. Price for at least 1-2 years later will jump over 100%.

If you want to hold a coin for long then try holding these ETH,  NEO,  XRP,  LTC,  DASH. If possible hold it using Ledger Nano.  Avoid using exchange sites as you might become a victim of hacked exchange site drama.

Great choice. I think that these coins can become much more expensive in a few years. But you must remember that crypto is a risk. And with any coin, something unforeseen can happen. In order to respond quickly you should always track your assets.

If you wanna find a coin can hold in 2 or 3 years, you should research the history of development in 2017. It can provide you something worth. IOTA, Litecoin are my choices. I think my answer is that IPFSF,EOS,NEO these three, these three have great potential

Most of it was from ETH, BTC and XMR. Actually in percentage gain Monero was my best pick. I did also get in relatively early into several newer alts, including VEN, NEO and XRB. My entry into BTC was first through setting up a wallet and mining, BTC was actually quite difficult to buy back in the early days.
My total invested was 6K, plus I also invested in a mining rig.
Well you shouldn't be hoping to change your life with a $2500 investment into extreme wealth or look for x1000 gains, that ship has sailed for crypto as much of a downer as that may seem. Those who got early into Bitcoin and ETH were entering in a very, very different environment than now, crypto is mainstream at this point and getting money in through Coinbase and trading is easy now. Even my hairdresser invested in crypto during that insane December run.

There is nothing wrong with aiming for a 2-3x return with a mixture of established core picks like Ethereum and Monero and then a percentage invested in promising newer cryptos, that crushes pretty much every other asset class. Even with a $2,500 investment, within 3 years at a 3x return compounded you're looking at $67,500. That is still life changing for most people, its a very nice new car or paying off a student loan.

Don't look at crypto now as your way out, as a get rich quick scheme that other's haven't already figured out. The flood of greater fools have already entered, we already hit close a trillion market cap (over $800 billion at ATH) coming in to invest in something that almost nobody actually uses. You should invest in a few smaller cap coins (keep it around 50% if you're new), but don't go all in hoping to get rich. That's a road to disappointment.

2-3 years is quite a long time. There are a lot of coins that have the potential to be 1 cents at this time but 2 years later the price could be 10 dollars. Usually they are very unheard coins, so it's hard to find. The quality of the projects and whether they are future or not.
Neo and IDXM are good for 2-3 years holding

I can not imagine if holding the coin that long, I think as long as I can get income every month is not a problem. never look back kebotakang that is my motto, as long as we get profit. crypto is a risky business so don't wait too much for that risk too long

Altcoins is going to hold for three years, and you should choose some cheap, potentially valuable currency, instead of a dollar that has been raised so many times that it might not be so good.
