what do you think about lisk, is it a good investment? a good platform for creating sidechains?
The only altcoins that will realistically survive in the future are the ones that provide some sort of service in real life. The ones that are just a currency will fall because you don't need a million different currencies, a few is enough (btc and eth for example). A few of the ones that have the potential to survive I think are golem, sonm, swarmcity and aragon.
yes that is right and people can only trust on such coin and will like to invest money there, because they consider their money more secure there and always expecting to get a good amount of profit form them, but to recognize such coins you need to do some good study about the market.
For me the altcoins that survive in the future are the bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and torcoin. I believe that all of this coins were become successful in the future.

The price of Maid is going up and the people involved in that project is not hyping it up as much as they should so I am pretty sure that the price of it will go up when they finally get ready to launch.

I think, Monero, Litecoin, Ethereum, these coins will stay for long, may be for life. We will get a lot of coins in future. May be we will get even better coin. but it seems these 3 are valuable. they have large community support, active devs teams, large market cap, extensive trading volume. Over all they have large potentials. IMO they are leaders. If you have any other coin in mind, help me by sharing your opinion
Agree. These are the most prominent altcoins in the market providing a solid development team and promising features. All of these mentioned cryptocurrencies have their own use cases, making them ideal to use for an specific task one another. With XMR, you get privacy over your transactions, while Litecoin serves as a tool for making fast daily payments, and finally Ethereum gives you access and the ability to create dApps, tokens, and more.
If you invest into these for the long term, their value might rise exponentially making your capital grow and secure your financial future. That is to say, these currencies are not the only ones which are performing well. There are also other altcoins which have good features and market cap like Dash and ZCash.
The latter one has implemented a new anonymity technology called ZK-SNARKs which may provide even better privacy than other well-established coins like Monero and Dash. As for this last one, you get good privacy features, plus the ability to earn money by setting up masternodes, and other features like sending instant transactions, among others. The best thing of most of these altcoins, is that anyone can mine it with a GPU unlike Bitcoin which as a huge ASIC dominance in the market. Just my opinion.
Ethereum is going to have to do a lot of development to stop the platform crashing, this is without Dapps imagine 100s of Dapps and an ICO the platform unless upgraded would be down for days

I agree with you.
BTC as a payment coin, Ethenerum as a platform for devs, Sonm as a cost-effective supercomputer, Crypviser or Encryptotel as a encrypted communication. There is a lot of unique tokens or coins that provide services in real life. We certainly don't need several hundred coins for payment only.

The top coins that you listed definitely has a future if Bitcoin stays alive. If Bitcoin somehow fails and the price of Bitcoin goes down then all the altcoins will do the same thing since the people that list it in Bitcoin exchanges like to have it paired with BTC. 
Every coin can survive also can go to price of 1 satoshi. Read that RDD (reddcoin) when from few satoshi to almost 200 per coin, this was obviously huge pump for this one.
But my tactics remains the same prime is bitcoin (most of it in this coin), ETH LTC as investment, searching for possible major spike on some coin and buying it before this spike.

I still believe ETH will be for long since it is use in lot of Ico's even its value is quite unstable pumps and suddenly dump always happen, I still hope it continues to pump.

I pity for anyone thinking Ethereum will be #1 & One of the top Cryptocurrencies to survive in the long run. What people forget is that, Majority of the transactions & Money in ETH Marketcap is powered by numerous ICOs. If SEC eventually comes after ICOs, It means ETH wouldn't be as "Popular" as People in the community are regarding it to be.

That is certainly true, mate. There have been many ICOs for Ethereum, leading the price of each Ether to rise as a result of demand for it to be used as an investment for any proposed project within the Ethereum blockchain. However, even if Ethereum has this big uptrend, it may never overcome Bitcoin in market cap as it was not designed to be a store of value, whose supply is undefined unlike Bitcoin which is finite.
Therefore, the pioneer cryptocurrency is scarce leading its way to becoming more valuable over time, making its market cap rise to unprecendented levels. The bright side for Bitcoin nowadays is that it has finally gained major support from the miners towards a scalable solution called SegWit2x. Once it becomes active (and the code becomes fully tested and released), it will improve Bitcoin's transaction capacity towards increasing its user base, making a positive effect in its price over the long term.
Nevertheless, in the end, it would be just Bitcoin as number one cryptocurrency for years to come, while Ethereum remains as the second largest cryptocurrency in market cap. Just sharing my thoughts.
Debitcoin Dbtc has a great sustainable self funded model and an excellent dev team and community behind it. It's one of those projects that will get bigger and bigger slowly until it hits a tipping where it explode with phenomenal growth

Does it mean that we can expect more innovative concepts based altcoins in future which may give heavy competitions against ethereum ? If yes, then that will be the trend of how etheretum captured the leading postillion from litecoin and some new thing will take over the position of leader in near future.Altcoins will be there in future but we cannot be sure like what are the altcoins we are now having will be surviving. But there will be plenty of altcoins in the future based on then latest technologies to provide enhancement ideas/support to bitcoin ecosystems indirectly.

There are lot of altcoin hare but dogecoin and litecoin are very good. They have very good plane for long time survive. The price of coin are good. And it sustaine long time.
There are a lot of altcoin but among them I think Entherium will lead the market and be able to survive well. In the future there will be many other altcoins and will be rivals of Entherium
