I think so because On the 25th of 2017, Grand Capital launched trading with six cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Peercoin, Namecoin, Dashcoin, Litecoin. Even ten years ago the very idea of cryptocurrency seemed rather bizarre. But time has passed, the world has changed and the Internet has changed. Now cryptocurrencies have become an unalienable part of transactions and, like any other currency, a means of income. One of the peculiarities of cryptocurrency exchanges is round the clock trading, 24/7. Grand Capital Trader terminal offers the most popular instruments. Trading is conducted on major exchanges. Depth of Market allows for execution at best prices. While Bitcoin may be the poster child of cryptocurrencies, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian thinks the second most valuable cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Ethereum, will be the real winner.Ethereum does have its competitors though when it comes to developers seeking blockchains upon which to build their own applications.Take, for example, Hyperledger, whose open-sourced blockchain framework Fabric underlies projects such as TrustChain, a blockchain project tracking diamonds. At the same time, firms such as Walmart have also used Hyperledger Fabric to test blockchain technology in tracking their food supply.

As the industry changes day from day. our views as to what coins will grow in long term seem to change.
many thought XRG was it in December, then it was Tron, then people thought less

so anyways
your ideas of 5 good coins you think will grow for 2018?
Privacy and Alt Coins

I am still thinking NEO.
But I like to hear from everyone else. as new ideas help to research other coins.

more feed back the better.

ETH is the number one that I know for sure will grow. Next would be Ripple, Neo, EOS. At the very least, that's what I have in my portfolio right now and I bet my ass on the line that those cryptocurrencies will grow later.

Pundi X sends you an additional 7% of your coins held each month until the end of the year. So if you have 100 coins on your listed wallet or Coinbene Exchange, at the end of the month they send 7 coins to your wallet (Airdrop). This way you always increase, and you can wait out fluctuations.

Good crypto Project! Their creditcard machine (POS machine) takes direct crypto payments.

I have big hopes in $Zoin, the coin from my point of view is highly undervalued, it has web and desktop wallet and is soon releason mobile wallet as well. Masternodes are coming soon and its value is just 40 cents above a dollar!

Yes of course, altcoin will grow as long as there is enough patience to wait for the market to pick up, I believe that all good cryptocurrencies will have a lot of room for growth. The fluctuations in this market are very large, so don't be affected by it. With patience, you will have great wealth.
There are several different types of altcoin, and surely they will experience better growth in the future, which is certainly ethereum, neo, litecoin this coin is very potential to make investment.

I think that now the most potential altcoins are EOS, Ethereum, ADA, OMG and Ripple. NEO I used to think a good coin, but now I think that it should not expect strong growth.

A good indicator of the fact that in the long term the market capitalization of altcoins will only grow is the partnership of large well-known companies with different blockchain projects.

I think NEO could grow in the future.
It has proper blockchain and could compete with ETH but is more fast and secure.
ICO ,DApps , and smart contracts are the future and NEO supports all very well.

I think that ethereum will grow for the simple reason that it is the blockchain where there are a lot of developer (along with bitcoin) so it is difficult for these developers to start learning a new programming language and developers make the ecosystem.

The greatest and most solid coins in the crypto world remain the same somehow, if we refer to the ones that are already on top of the list. The top 5 will always start with Ethereum. This coin remained the number one altcoin. NEO could also be another choice in the top 5. There is also Cardano (ADA) and then Ripple (XRP). You could also consider Waves and Monero (XMR). Ethereum Classic (ETC) and NEM (XEM) are also great choices.

I am very bullish in platforms, such as Cardano, IOTA, and the fresh ones, Zilliqa, and EOS. Surely, we will need a significant market sentimel change for these to outperform Bitcoin.

I think ETH, LTC, NEO will still dominate Altcoin's growth, but it's likely that a lot of new coin potential will grow this year. If you see the movement of ICO and from the project they run. I hope Enlte, elysian and mtc will be in top 10 altcoin this year.

ı read it today! Cryptocurrencies have, since their inception and subsequent leap into mainstream awareness, gathered opinions from opposing end of the spectrum. From those hailing the nascent industry as a game changer for the world as we know it, to those equating it to the infamous tulip bubble, everybody has an opinion.

Brian Armstrong, CEO and co-founder of Coinbase, US-based cryptocurrency exchange, thinks people are needlessly worried about the current dip: “It can be scary the first time you see it, but to us who have been in the industry for many years, it feels like old news,” he said in a motivational message to his team.

“When there is hype, people are irrationally exuberant. When there is despair, people are irrationally pessimistic. Neither is true,” he continues, adding that the truth is in the middle, and that value correlates to transactions per day and not price.

"I want to encourage you all to ignore the price of crypto and the headlines which will inevitably start to come up. Our job is to rise above that, finding our own intrinsic source of motivation, to come in and do our best work, regardless of what other people think," Armstrong said in an attempt to motivate his team.

What's Happening In the Market? An Optimistic And Pessimistic View 102

Meanwhile, Chris Concannon, the president of Cboe Global Markets, owner of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, could be successful in demotivating crypto investors. He thinks they should be laying awake at night, fretting over the market movements, especially in relation to ICOs (initial coin offerings) and regulations. Should the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) decide ICO tokens are unregistered securities, they would be rendered useless, he told in an interview with Business Insider.

Concannon forecasts that, first, the SEC will go after ICO market participants, then, class-action lawsuits against the teams behind ICO projects will surge.

"If you sold someone an unregistered security you are liable to them if they decide to take them to court," Concannon said.

Who is right - and whether anyone truly is - is anyone’s guess.

Armstrong considers the current slump in the market a good way to clear out weak participants. “It gets rid of the people who are in it for the wrong reasons, and it gives us an opportunity to keep making progress while everyone else gets distracted,” he said.

Meanwhile, Robert Hockett, a professor of financial regulation at Cornell University, told Business Insider that the cryptoverse is moving out of the "Wild West" phase into a "regulatory scrutiny" phase. In the short term we'll see the rise of funds to launch class-actions and increased litigation, but in the long term, we'll see a cleansing of the market, according to Hockett.

"It is a legal life cycle of every new asset that becomes highly popular," he was quoted as saying. "It was true for tulips, junk bonds, and mortgage-backed securities, and now crypto."
