I think that in 2018, such coins as EOS Cardano NEO are spinning themselves.
They are already in the top 20 and I think that this year will become even more popular and their price will increase.

Yes, we can say that altcoin will grow in future, but some favourite coins are Neo, As etc. Less fluctuations in this market attracts the investors most.
I think that many of the top 20 coins can grow strongly from this position, because now the market is still in the correction stage! If we talk about coins with a small capitalization, it is difficult to predict something!
Maybe yes, maybe no. The prices of the crypto are very volatile that is why it is difficult to be sure which of them will grow. My stakes are Cardano, Stellar, Verge, OmiseGO, IOTA, EOS, and Ethereum.
ETH EOS BTC NEO , these coins are what I think will have a good performance in 2018.
Be sure, altcoins and all crypto-market will grow. I think in July-September we'll see huge grow-up. But today we need just patience! All the best!
There are a couple of choices in the market and actually, most of them have a potential to grow. Although,

Altcoins are going down these days out of which some coins are very good. It is good to work in XRp, xzm, abx, ltc. These are the coins which give us good margin.
It's hard to predict really. Things can change so quickly but I think masternode coins is always a safe bet for me and eth.
There is a huge risk with investing into altcoin, from my point of view. I reckon they will be drastically decrease in value over time so long-term investments are out of the question. Now, shot-term may still be profitable if you know what you are doing.
Ripple, the third largest cryptocurrency by market cap, still has a lot to prove.
For you to get profit much better to choose potential and known altcoins so I choose Eth, Neo & Eos since they are mostly used and has big community that supports them. Eth are commonly used altcoin in transactions while many loved NEO and some are using EOS as payment.
It's hard to determine which one will grow. But somehow we can also determine if it will grow fast depending on it's popularity and if it has great technology.
altcoin which I think will grow is CHSB, although many do not believe with CHSB because the price always goes down but I am sure in the future CHSB will increase very rapidly. 
I agree with what you are saying in there, but you should take in consideration that NEO has already been hyped by a lot, it went from $ 40 to $ 150 in a month, and now it is less than $ 50 again. It is a good concept, but very damaged.
Very hard to predict what gonna happen but to understand what to do better to check the statistics. Ethereum , ripple , neo, monero and other popular coins are the best choise for long term.
I just stumbled on to this little gem currently sitting at a only a 3.1 Mil market cap called MyWish (WISH). From what I understand the platform allows you to make smart contracts without the technical/coding understanding that was previously needed. As of today, they are now integrated with the NEO blockchain and have been previously been integrated with Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Quite right, now it is not necessary to have the programming skills to create any smart contract!

I believe in Tron (TRX) that have all chances to grown up after launch of the Mainnet at 31.05.2018. After this will be a TRX migration from ERC20 to Tron own mainnet that make a sense in terms of price. Looking at Justin Sun page it seems tron team is in hype I mean they're aggressive to complete their roadmap in time which is good. I'm holding tron since the first month of 2018 and I already gain some profit yet I still hold until this end of the year. I also hold ADA, TIO and MCO.
