Now the money is free, and so the people will be
Anyone managing to change vcore on the  fly  with MSI Afterburner?

When idling it does change the vdcc, but when the gpu is in full load, the changes are not being applied.

you could always just change the core clock by 1mhz and change it back, the voltage will change.  otherwise just wait a bit.

I have a MSI Radeon RX 570 Gaming X 4GB card that was doing about 23 MH/s on Ethereum mining, and no matter how I adjusted GPU and memory clocks, I couldn't get higher than that.

I just tried out the Bios modification concept, copying the strap for 2:1500 to 2:1625, 2:1750, 2:2000 and after these changes, the Ethereum mining operates at 30MH/s.

Before Bios mod: 1150 / 2100 -> 23 MH/s
After Bios mod:  1150 / 2100 -> 30 MH/s
After Bios mod, lower clock:  1100 / 2100 -> 29.5 MH/s

I can run Claymore's Dual Ethereum miner with low intensity on secondary algorithm (-dcri 10), and get about 300MH/s on SIA without any impact on Ethereum mining performance.

Nice results. I have two of these cards and will start mining these weekend. What is your memory? How about power consumption. Any undervolt?
Hynix memory. I've not started with undervolting yet, but I agree that Performance/Watt probably can be optimized a bit. First step is to ensure that everything runs stable, and it looks promising so far.

I am new to mining rig actually. Hynix memory is afavorable one. I only checked MSI RX 470 Gaming X and it is Samsung. Not bad I guess. I have 5 RX 570s (2 MSI Gamingz, 2 Giga Gaming and 1 Asus Strix) and will set up my rig this weekend. Fingercrossed  on Hynix for at least MSI 570s. Yours are really good results.

Hi,

Today when I started dual mining (ETH+DCR) on my Asus RX580 STRIX 8GB (Samsung memory) after few minutes computer hangs up?

I don't undervolt - I've only copied 1750 straps to 2000.

When I mine solo only ETH it works just fine - tested for 24h without any problem.

Any clues?

I'm on Crimson 17.5.2 Beta drivers.

Can you please share me your Sapphire 570 8GB Nitro+ Hynix bios? I lost my orig bios and now my gpu is messed up
Please..thank you

A few GPU tests Sapphire 5xx. A few successes, but one problem.

I use:

Asus Z270F Strix - Without any problems, 7 GPUs work or MSI Z270-A Pro 6 GPU ready, I have tried, I currently operate about 10 Rigs without problem (RX 4xx)

PolarisEditor by jaschaknack - https://github.com/jaschaknack/PolarisBiosEditor/tree/110aa3a5a0aeafe16bb0a96b53583e7e8e77999b
SRBPolaris - BIOS editor
AtiFlash 2,74
atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5
Wattool o.92 does not function

Sapphire 570 4GB Nitro+ Hynix - strap 1750 - 1100/2050/-96mv-gpu/+20powertarget = 29,3MHs @ cca 156 on the wall

Sapphire 570 8GB Nitro+ Hynix - Strap 1750 - 1100/2100/-96mvgpu/+30powertarget = 29,6MHs

Sapphire 570 4GB Pulse Elpida - strap 1750 - 1100/1910/-96mv-gpu/+30powertarget = 24MHs @ cca 150-160 on the wall

Sapphire 580 8 GB Pulse Hynix - strap 1750 - 1100/2150/-96mv-gpu/+30powetarget = 27,3MHs @ Here I do not know exactly, a little more than 570, No more than 170

Sapphire 570 4GB Mini Elpida - strap 1750 - 1110/2040/-96mvgpu/30+target = 26,3-26,4 @ 164w on the wall = 169 USD newegg very nice

Sapphire 580 8GB Nitro+ - Hynix - Strap 1750 - 1100/2200/-96mvGPU/50powertarget = 27,8MHs

Hynix on 570 is better then Hynix on 580. Hynix on 570 timing 7777 @ 1750 but 580 hynix 999 @ 1750 but i have to check this because the problem is two different time sets 1: 1750 and 2: 1750 each for another set of memories.

This is my tests, But I have a little problem. The signature for the modified bios driver is ok. But it does not work at the same time 570 with 580 on one motherboard.

If the 4x 570 works and re-sign the driver, the 580 runs but does not run 570.

Simply, it works either it or it. It does not work together.

Does anyone have any advice or idea?

Maybe a new Atipatcher?

Guys, one of my rx580s came with a micron memory I do not know if this error that I am getting is related to that but I cannot run Atiwinflash.
All my cards except 7950's are brand new.  I have 4 cards(rx580) but I just connected the two.
Last night I tried connecting my 7950s along with my rx580s...worked for a while then I started to get some errors and used dd uninstaller and reinstalled everything.

Any ideas why this might happen? Thanks

Edit: Just replaced the card with a micron memory with another from hynix and it works..How should I go with the card with Micron memory?

The card that says failed works fine except that it does not show fan and temperature status on claymore. It is interesting as I have not flashed this card before. It is brand new. And I am working on windows 10

Hi Folks,

i'm still a newbie in mining and i read a lot in this forum. First of all thanks a lot for such an amount of knowledge that can be consumed here.
I already have a 100 Th/s contract on mining BTC at genesis mining but now i want to do it on my own.
The RX 480's seem be one of the best GPU's but it also seems to be out of stock all over the world - especially in germany there is no chance to get one.
So i decided to buy 12 MSI RX 580 8GB Armor OC to built 2 Rigs for ETH-mining and Dual mining.

I'm very excited to enter into a new era of this business.

My setup will be (parts are ordered and will arrive in about 2-3 weeks)

12x Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC
2x ASRock H81 PRO BTC R2.0
2x Intel Celeron G1840 2,8 GHz (Haswell) Sockel 1150
12x YIKESHU PCIe PCI-E 16x 8x 4x 1x Powered Riser Adapter Card w/ 60cm USB 3.0 Extension (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B072BJ3GCG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
2x PSU Corsair AX1200 i Platinum
2x Corsair Vengeance LP Series Black DDR3-1600, 4GB
2x Patriot Spark 2,5 Zoll SSD, SATA 6G - 128 GB
2x Desktop Power Switch https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00LVREYWG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks to this forum I think i'm prepared very well to get the cards modded to enter into a hashrate of about 29 or 30 mH/s. Thanx to Cryptoyeti http://cryptoyeti.com/msi-rx580-armor-8g-review-and-bios-mod-guide/ for his brief explanation getting 30+ mH/s out of his cards.

But there is one question left concerning the PSU. Does anybody have the Corsair AX1200i Platinum and are there enough cables included to connect all components?

Thanks for your comments.

Happy mining, Bodyworks

I have AX 1200i and here is the cables you can find inside the box. You might have problem with the cable lengths if you will use 6 gpus

Reading this page, page 32, it feels like the Cryptobubble just got confirmed once more.

To not be completely off topic, some general jibber... The rx500s blow the rx400s out of the water in dual mining. 100 watts a cards, ain't that something!

I've been planning on starting to create a rig of my own. I own an ASICMiner so i'm pretty much new on GPU Mining. Already search and read some builds/guides but none of it answers my question.

My question was what is the best build base on your experience or knowledge ignoring the power usage. Electricity will not be a problem with me.

Also i got my RX570 today.

After a lot of reading in forums and a thousand unsuccessful bioses I made a bios for Sapphire Pulse RX 580 4GB(Hynix): 30.8-31.3 ETH and 430-410 SC on dual with 120-130W on GPU-Z; Core clock: 1167; Mem Clock: 2150; Driver: 17.5.2. On single is 30.9-31.3 on 80-90W. Stable since 14 hours on two rigs.

Has anyone something better for this card?
Hi, I`m also with the same cards, but can't push them above 26mh. Can you share what you did to achieve 30+mh.

Card: Sapphire Pulse RX 580 4GB(Hynix)
It is tested only on this card! I am not responsible for any damage. Use it on your own risk!
