While we all await tomorrow's news on BFL and where things will be headed head for them I thought I would like to provide an update on the AMT class action.

So the sad news is that the judge denied the class action. But the good news is the case isn't over and clenell's ( and really all of our potential) lawyers amended the claim adding three more plaintiffs. That amended claim hasn't had the class action denied or accepted, but the lawyers at Chimicles & Tikellis make some excellent arguments as to why it should be accepted, with lots of case law, in their Memorandum of Laws document.

There is a statement by Josh Zipkin it is an unsworn statment but he is still subject to penalty if he lied under it though. The final point in his statement reads:

 AMT has been inundated with customer complaints, letters from attorneys, badmouthing
and criticism on Bitcoin related social media sites and other lawsuits besides this one.
I have done my best to respond to each complaint and to find a solution for the customer and will
continue to do so.

I don't feel that statment is true. He has not done his best to respond to complaints and says as much in the chats where he said he ignores questions about the MPP.

Someone might want to contact the court on that front, with as much as he lies to us it isn't surprising he lies to the court.

Is the change of slogan an admission of guilt or do you just think he doesn't like his own words used against him? If the latter is the case he has a long road ahead.

If this is mining "on the level" I just can't imagine what horrors the crooked mining companies are involved in.

I suggest everyone who is dealing with issues with AMT has not gotten their order OR missing parts, OR it took them months to ship share on this page. Use google+ and post public your experience with AMT, twitter or whatever options are available. It is important that noone else be taken by Joshua Zipkin and AMT Miners, he has not made anyone whole and it is obvious with his dismissive attitude and antics and lies that he has no intention of it.

With that they may as well have said go to another vendor LOL. Setting these up is far from "easier" and buying from them is certainly not "smarter"

I tried to click on their social networking things and nothing is filled in it just keeps giving me a 404 error.

He could care less about the things we say to him. No the only thing that matters is making sure legal/criminal action. THE ONLY thing that matters to him is taking away the money he stole from us. That means getting the government to enforce the laws that are supposed to protect us from these types of things. His threats also require accountability. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequence.

They won't be the last. Just spoke to the FTC in regards to BFL and others..... Wink there will be more of these busts. Let's just say I had my first of many conversations with the FTC and there will be more. BFL for starters (I was a defrauded BFL customer too) but unbeknownst to AMT I had filed one with the FTC in March as well.
