what's the lowest wattage you managed to squeeze and maintain 50MHs on 1080ti ?

example:
rig 12x rog strix 1080TI, each set to 195W ~ 49-50MHs and doesnt seem to work any more efficient if I squeeze power limit below that. If I just touch the PL, hashrate drops to 46-48...

rig 6x msi gaming x 1080TI- 160W ~ 49 to 51MHs and works steady with 5454MHs mem clocks... power limit set to 200, actual usage 150-160... numbers measured on the wall seem to back up what nvidia-smi says.

And I can't figure out what's causing such a huge difference... any ideas? I mean - I'm happy, but curious...

biostar tb250, xubuntu 16.04, 384.111, gpuclock offset set to +900, resulting in 5454MHz as reported by nvidia-smi --query-gpu=clocks.current.memory.

You need to increase the memory clock more. Im getting 52-53 on 175w(nvidia inspector reading). Memory offset +680

using win10

Yes, yes, Elio. You’re a big, strong man. Well done on all your achievements and stuff.

After our other launch on the 25th of May (probably a few weeks after), we will have a public release for all cards -  VEGA, GTX and RX included - that everyone can use. It will have a devfee attached to it, if the community agrees,  as it makes more sense and I cannot manage the 200+ clients we already have. We’ll update with new models as it comes out.

I’m fucking off to Oxford, Cambridge for two weeks for a research project, so Bird, AI, Cat or Dog will manage this thread for me.

Would like to know the community thoughts about a devfee tool.

Community thoughts  about a devfee tool? Girl you & your team rock , best in industry. The community is already paying devfee's for software's that do same think like the free one, anything you bring up is a big plus for for the whole crypto community and for small individuals, a dev fee is more then fair!!!

I picked up a 1080ti (zotac amp extreme monstrosity) out of curiosity, just to test this.  I get up close to 55 mhs if I let the PL go up to 75%.  Most efficient setting is 50% PL, 42 mhs for 150W.  That's about as efficient as your average modded polaris.  Pretty solid given the versatility of this gpu for other algos.

With some more tinkering/tweaking, I'm getting about 50 mhs at 175W (hwinfo reading).

after tuning my overclocks I'm sitting quite happy at 53-54Mh on my 1080tis in HiveOS.   impressive.
Can you share your oc?
My hasrate is not stable 4x1080ti aours. Reporter hs on pool from 175-220... all the time..

HiveOS, 1080ti (various) +0 core, +1400 mem, power limit 180-200w depending on the card.  one of my rigs I have to step up the overclock +600, +1000, +1400 over a few minutes to help initial stability when I first start it up

Sorry If I missed this in the  22 pages, but looking for a way to control what gpu's it applies to for the revB settings (I see that you can control it per card for revA). Basically I want to only apply to certain cards, ignoring the others.

FYI, it works on Titan Xp's but I am getting new errors so spending time finding new lower stable clock settings.

I HAVE DONE SOME EXPERIMENT:

to avoid your rig crash while using this meds (if you are a bit unlucky)

1. Run your miner first before applying meds
2. Close your meds first before stopping your miner

Hi
I have tons of GTX1080 (various brand) and GTX1080ti

all GTX1080ti works with this mod

however lot GTX1080 cannot apply this mod, PC will crash upon starting the mod, not even started claymore miner yet

All crash PC having 6pc of GTX1080 with latest driver 391.35 and using claymore 11.6 (same configuration with non crash PC)
Applying revA didnt help also

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you

I rather suspect you are going to have to provide more details if you want help. At the very least, what brands are the cards, what overclocks/power limits are applied and how are they applied (e.g. - AfterBurner)?

Dear Sir

Brand is not working - MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X (6 GPU)
Using MSI AB :
core clock -100
PL 70%
memory  0 (or any overclocking setting , even +50)

Upon further review , it produce artefacts immdietely upon opening the program then the rig crash

Other brand will be investigated later one by one (because I have multiple brand)

However GTX 1080 Zotac AMP! and AMP! Extreme working perfectly

Thank you for the good works!

I also have this card, and I had a lot of trouble running the program.

what i did: msi AB powerlimit 70 core clock -100 mem 0

I start claymore I wait for the dag to be loaded, then I start the program with this command:

OhGodAnETHlargementPill --revA 0,1,2,3

and I have 30mh

I managed to put +100 memory which gives me 31 mh.

but impossible to oc memory a + of 100. I do not understand why .....
