People are holding coins because the price is not high enough and new holders who bought very cheap want to stake, thus the difficulty is increasing.
500K is not enough to stake fast, 8.08 days.
I think you need around 10 million to stake around 9 days.
One of my stack with 5 million is going over 10 days without staking reward.

Is it me or is the difficulty in staking 808 coin increasing?

First of all I am currently staking 2 transactions which are just below 500k and the Age is 24.  I am wondering if it is because of the low amount and that the more I stake (i.e. 10 million 808 coins) will take less time.

I am using the mac version of the 808 coin that I downloaded from the first page of this Forum.

When I change it to 30 days the mint probability changes to 100% as now both show as 34.35%.

It's normal to have only 8 connexions as the UPnP box in your wallet must be unchecked for enhanced security.

Good news in the turmoil. As the price of BTC goes down it's actually settling 808 in a better position. There is more advantages to have 808 at 3 sats with a 6.5K BTC rather than at 1 sat with a 20K BTC. Going to 2 sats from 1 is way harder than to 6 from 3 with roughly the same market cap in both cases. Then 808 has more room to grow (more increments) a way better spread and less chances to be kicked out of the BTC pair. Keep an eye on 808 when the market recovers (remember it was excluded from the DEC/JAN pump).

Some reason the connection doesn't go up more than 8 even if I put 100 nodes on conf file and sometimes it goes down to 2 or 3.
But it will go up a lot if you open the port 8087.
Matter of fact, I had to set the number of connections on the conf file because I don't want to have too many connections for a wallet.

Yes I see that dev however even I only ever get 8 connections and sometimes when I'm about to stake the connections drop to 3 connections and sometimes 1 so I'm not sure why the wallet does this. Is there a list of all these nodes? so then I can add them to my conf file.

Anyone see that 808 is trading at 17 sats on Nova? well people have been buying at that price, too bad deposits ain't open yet. I can't wait for Nova to reopen deposits again as it is one of my favourite exchanges.
